Greek Food Walking Tour in Athens

Walking food tour

Maria was a great tour guide as she was knowledgeable of the local cuisine and explained the history behind the food. She walked us around the city taking us to different restaurants and we tasted their specialties. It was a full 3.5 hours of tasting and conversation. Spending the day with Maria was a wonderful experience.

Athens Tour

Sebastian was our tour guide, and he was fantastic! He educated us on Greek history, and spoke English to our group, as he drove our partyof six in a comfortable Mercedes vehicle. He had it filled with water, and was prepared with providing umbrellas as we exited the vehicle to walk around the major sites, due to the rain in the beginning part of the tour. After we toured the Acropolis, he took us to Theadore’s for a traditional Greek lunch. Christo, our server, was very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and plentiful and we returned to our hotel quite full! We highly recommend this tour as it checked every box on our agenda! THANK YOU for this memorable experience!

Beyond our expectations - Well paced walk up the Acropolis!

We had an excellent guide to walk to the top of the Acropolis. She was very knowledgeable and communicated clearly and with some humor. As she promised, she took nicely spaced out breaks on the way to the top, taking advantage of shade and empty spaces to gather our group. We are two mature seniors and appreciated her attention to where everyone was in the group and the thoughtful pace she maintained for everyone. It was truly a wonderful experience.

Informative tour of the Acropolis

Costas was a remarkable guide with so much information to share. The climb to the Acropolis is steep and you have to watch your feet - Costas would stop occasionally to tell us all about what we were looking at and give us some historical background., while allowing us to catch our breath. His commentary in the Acropolis Museum taught us even more about the history of Greece.

Nice four-hour day trip from Athens.

Well run tour, from pickup to very efficient dropoffs. Roy was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. The drive itself was scenic and informative. I liked the stop at Lake Vouliagmeni. The temple of Poseidon was interesting and a nice vantage spot for a sunset. There was a small restaurant and restrooms there, and a small hill for different vantage point.

Gorgeous experience and...

Gorgeous experience and great crew. Everyone was so friendly, relaxed, and on top of every task to ensure everyone had a great time. Food was extraordinary and with lots of gluten free & dairy free options. Make sure to tell the crew about your allergies, they made special sandwiches for us as part of the morning snack. They also had fantastic tracks on the boat, but with quieter spaces to suit every traveler. Highly recommend the experience, it was the highlight of our trip 🫶🏼

Don’t waste your time and...

Don’t waste your time and money. Pay for a guide it makes all the difference. We had Elizabeth who was amazing. She made everything interesting. I was worried it would be boring looking at old rocks, but she made them come alive. The tour of the museum was over the top. A guide in the museum may be even more beneficial. Thank you

Well organised trip, and stunning scenery

Well organised trip. Multiple buses - but each driver had a list of names for his bus, so it wasn't hard to find our bus. There were 50 or so on our bus though - not the maximum 18 or so that the booking confirmation mentioned! Amazing scenery though, and very well organised. The meal stops were good, and very slick ordering ahead online for the dinner stop in the evening. There's a supermarket just round the corner behind the restaurant, so we got snacks there too - lot cheaper. 3 monateries were great

Nice experience at Delphi

This is a long day but worth doing the bus is comfortable and gets you there and under three hours with stops as necessary. The guide provides great info about the museum and then the actual ruins area and the brief stop on the way home for a meal or shopping is nice could’ve been a bit longer. We got back. It was about 11 hours but worth the time.
