We meet outside the Acropolis Metro Station. If arriving by metro, take the Makrygianni /Dionysiou Arepaghitou exit. Please go up to the street level and find the sign for “Akropoli.” Your guide will be waiting with a sign displaying your names.

- During High Season pre-reserved tickets can be very popular at certain time slots which can lead to people waiting in the "skip-the-line ticket holders" queue
- Baby strollers of any kind are not permitted within the Acropolis site. Kids under 6 are not permitted on this tour.
- No wheelchairs, walkers, nor elevator access available during the tour. Please consider mobility limitations before booking
- Arrive at the designated meeting point 10 minutes before start time. Our tours depart punctually. We have specific entry times reserved for the Acropolis.
- Tickets are timed and expire within 5 to 10 minutes. Noshows are not refunded. You cannot join our tours after they started.
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.

Our guide was very good. It was helpful to have an archeologist who worked at and was passionate about the area.
This is a steep climb, some in our group struggled with the trek up.

Good experience! Tour guide was nice and efficient, we stopped multiple times on the way up to the Parthenon so the walk wasn’t strenuous. with the small group we were with, we were able to stop in the shade and stay away from the sun multiple times on the walk up. Overall it was a good experience if you missed the tickets online, and want some additional information about the Parthenon you would not find anywhere else but this superb tour

An easy paced tour of the Acropolis with a knowledgeable guide. We took the 10.00am trip, in April. There were no queues to get in, but by the time we left at 11.30 we could see that the line to get in was already long - so best to do an early trip. Quite expensive compared to a self-guided trip.

Lisa, our guide, was exceptional! Her knowledge of the Acropolis, Parthenon and Greece was incredible. We truly enjoyed the experience especially her assistance with me, along with my husband, in going down from the Acropolis. I still can’t believe we did it! We were sorry we didn’t add in the ticket for the museum. Make sure you book both!

Because there were so many tourists the same time I joined the tour, it was so hard to concentrate and hear all the information from the tour guide. I would suggest that the tour guide should hold her microphone closer to her mouth because when she’s a bit farther from the tourists the reception becomes unclear. The park should stagger the number of tourists allowed into the city park to avoid it from becoming overcrowded.
If I had to do this tour again I would book a private tour.

There were so many people there we lost radio contact frequently with our tour guide. Lots of renovations going on here and you have to have patience getting to the top. Overall our guide was awesome and all the things that were wrong were not the fault of the tour guide.

Was okay. However, the guide did not keep track of my parents who are senior citizens and it was hard to keep up. Further, my father suffered from a pickpocketing incident.

Our guides do their best to maintain a comfortable pace for the group and to ensure everyone stays together, but on scheduled shared tours it is the responsibility of each guest to remain with the group. For senior travelers, we always recommend slower-paced or private tours where the guide can adjust entirely to their needs.
We are also very sorry to hear about the pickpocketing incident. Unfortunately, pickpocketing is a known issue in major European cities, and it can happen anywhere tourists gather. Guides regularly warn guests to keep personal belongings secure, but this is ultimately beyond the control of any tour operator.
We hope your parents otherwise enjoyed their visit, and if you return in the future, we would be happy to recommend more suitable tour formats for comfort and safety.

Lot of crowds as anticipated. The guide was very knowledgeable, upbeat and friendly. We used earpieces to make it much easier to hear what she had to say and she answered many, many questions.

Our guide had an excellent grasp of the history behind our tour. She consistently kept our group informed about the history of the ruins and how they are being restored for future generations to enjoy. I would do this tour over if I was able to travel there again! ☆☆☆☆☆

More difficult than explanation provided. I was not able to complete due to knee issues. Tour guide seemed good, but know one informed me there was an elevator to top.

Thank you for your feedback. The Acropolis is indeed located on top of a hill — as its name suggests — and the tour is described as moderate since it involves walking and climbing. Please note that there is no elevator access.
