I wanted to see Delphi but didn’t want to drive there myself, so booked this. Convenient pick up location (Acropolis) and a comfortable coach bus. Appreciated my guide’s (Yiannis) insights into the history of the archaeological site and the museum. I also purchased the lunch option which was decent but honestly you could do without that and get lunch somewhere else at the stop or pack your own.

Museum crowded and hard to stand for long periods of time on floors
Arachova stop was absolutely stunning. Would suggest a bit more time to spend here

Large bus. Professional driver. Very comfortable. Our tour guide during the trip from Athens to Delphi was very detailed and jumped from topic to topic which made it confusing. Too much information was given and difficult to understand. Headsets were very clear and loud enough. We had museum visit by guide then a short walk to ancient site. Ancient site was guided then we had sufficient free time to take more pictures. Recommend doing walk up to stadium (took me 12 minutes). After tours we drove to Arachova and had a good lunch with some free time followed by short walking tour.

Quality tour that is worth the travel time. Delphi was very unique and the combination of museum and ruins was very interesting. Stopping in the ski village for lunch was a highlight. We opted out of the lunch voucher and just walked around until we found a place that looked good. Plenty of options to choose from.

I would highly recommend not including lunch when you buy this ticket, as it was absolute chaos. There were multiple tour groups at the same spot and the restaurant owner was screaming at tables and the chef. They were so overwhelmed with tour groups that they didn’t take drink orders. Just overall a stressful environment. It might be easier for the tour operators to take lunch orders ahead of time. But I would recommend doing lunch on your own in the beautiful mountain town. I would also say there wasn’t enough time to make it to the top of the ruins to see the stadium. If you’re in Athens for several days, this is worth doing - but if you’re not, it’s pretty far to go and while it’s a great view, I don’t know if it warrants taking your time away from other things to see and do in Athens.

At the same time, guests may also choose the option without lunch so they can explore the village and dine independently, depending on their preferences.

The experience is more meaningful if you are familiar with the Oracle at Delfi and its history.
The visitor must use their imagination to fill in the parts of the site that have been destroyed or removed.

Be prepared for a 2.5 hour drive in each direction. Once there, the area is astounding but the actual temple site is a bit underwhelming. The amphitheater and stadium were definitely the highlights! The museum is nice. We had a beautiful day, high 70’sF with a light breeze. If you’re going to go in the summer, bring a hat and cool clothes. The tour guide and bus driver were 10/10. Very exceptional tour.

The tour operators were extremely friendly and accommodating. My mother is prone to getting carsick, and the team immediately let me know they reserved the front seat of the bus for my mother to ensure she wouldn’t get sick during the 3 hr drive. If you have any questions, they respond quickly to your email. My parents loved the tour and the lunch.

The guide was an historian and archaeologist and really knew her stuff. She and the driver were very solicitous and kind.
That being said, this was not a good fit for someone who is hearing impaired. The box-box speaker system wasn’t hearing aid compatible and using a cheap earbud was sub-optimal. In addition, the guide had an extremely thick Greek accent that further interfered with understanding what she said. I plan on using Google images to identify what the pictures were that I took since I have no clue what the guide said.

Overall my wife and I very much enjoyed the trip. However, we were much concerned that two ladies were left behind for being only 1 minute late to return to the bus at the scheduled return time. Please note ,this was a 3 hour return trip to Athens

Amazing tour with our super knowledgable and fun guide Mike! He knew so much about Greek mythology, the history of Delphi, and also fun tidbits about Greece and the Greek language. The bus was also very nice and WiFi was an added bonus.

Fantastic trip to Delphi. Elizabeth was a wonderful guide with a wealth of information as an archaeologist. We didn’t realize how much training these guides had to undergo and appreciated how much more we got out of the visit thanks to her. It was about 70 degrees F and sunny — a beautiful day. We were glad it wasn’t any hotter. Definitely recommend a wide-brimmed hat to protect your face and neck. Also bring sunscreen and water. We chose to climb up to the stadium, and it was well worth it. The water came in very handy after that trek. We also loved the little village where we were taken for lunch. We chose to not purchase the included lunch and found a place on our own. There are plenty of choices, many of which were much quieter which was more to our liking. We also recommend climbing to the top of the clock tower after lunch for spectacular views and photos. So far, this tour was a highlight of our trip.

This tour will bring back some of the mythology you learned as a young adult. The guide will educate you and challenge your Greek mythology. Definitely sign up for the tour that includes the Greek lunch. It was well worth it.

This tour from Athens to Delphi was a solid and worthwhile experience overall. The itinerary was well planned, with good pacing and enough time at each stop to take in the sites without feeling rushed. Delphi itself is as impressive as you’d expect—the history, the setting, and the views all make it a highlight of any trip to Greece.
The stops along the way added to the experience, giving a nice sense of the surrounding area and breaking up the drive. Everything ran smoothly, and transportation was comfortable and organized.
