What a great way to kick off our friends and family Greece Adventure. Land in Athens, taxi to city center, check in, keep moving to stay awake, and meet Alexandra for the start of our Athens city walking and food tour. The food, and there was a lot of it, was fantastic, not to mention the coffee, wine, uzo, and dessert. But Alex was the heart and soul of the tour - witty, funny, informative, and endearing. Dionisis was an exceptional guide! His timing was perfect, he was always prompt, and his passion for Greek history was contagious. With skip-the-line tickets arranged, everything flowed seamlessly. Before visiting each site, including the Acropolis, Parthenon, Theater of Dionysus, and Ancient Agora, he provided fascinating historical context that brought these remarkable places to life. He then left us at an excellent restaurant with time to explore the charming Plaka neighborhood. But the highlight was his final surprise—watching the Evzones, Changing of the Guard at the Presidential Palace! What made it even more extraordinary was discovering that Dionisis himself had once served in this prestigious position. What a special and personal connection to Greek history! His knowledge, enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine love for his country's history made this an unforgettable experience. Beyond phenomenal! We couldn't recommend Dionisis more highly!

Ozzy was one of the best driver/guides we have ever had. Punctual and friendly he kept us ahead of the big tour groups while also getting us to all of our must see sites. His historical fact and story narration had us learning so much. We appreciated his tips, insights, friendly way and perfect itinerary timing. We got great pics and time for some shopping as well. Great tour and great information passed along. I had seen the Acropolis by myself previously, but my bride had not and opted for a guided tour. The tour was perfect for what we wanted. It wasn't super deep into history, but got great insight into what the Acropolis has to offer. Tour was professional and efficient. Well worth the money, and I'd do it again!

Something different

Was apprehensive. 14hr trip on a coach isnt what we had planned. 2hr coach ride for breakfast by the beach. Great view. Further coach journey to the foot of the monastery trail. Very informative. Moved along for a fabulous lunch which we included in our ticket price. Lots of choice and typically Greek. Now what I coild not see at all on tje viator website was that you need to bring cash! You cannot enter the 3 monasteries without cash, €5 pp entry. Also wasnt told you need to pay to use restrooms at all stops except food breaks. These you need €1 per visit pp. So with the exception of this small blip we had a pretty good time. The views are absolutely out of this world and Katherina was full of knowledge. Massive pat on the back for the driver aswell

Great Tour of the Amazing Acropolis!

We absolutely loved our tour. Our tour guide Vicki (not sure of spelling) was delightful. Learned so much about the history of the Acropolis. Visit to museum turned out to be just my husband and I so we got a very special private tour. 10/10. Highly recommend getting there early. Less crowds. Ours was at 8am and it was perfect.

Best day in Athens with Tolis!

What an awesome day in Athens spent with Tolis! We had one day to see all that we could and he absolutely delivered including one of the best gyros we’ve ever had! Gorgeous experience and great crew. Everyone was so friendly, relaxed, and on top of every task to ensure everyone had a great time. Food was extraordinary and with lots of gluten free & dairy free options. Make sure to tell the crew about your allergies, they made special sandwiches for us as part of the morning snack. They also had fantastic tracks on the boat, but with quieter spaces to suit every traveler. Highly recommend the experience, it was the highlight of our trip 🫶🏼
