Well worth it!!

Waking up early and skipping the line is so worth the money. We were the first ones in and our group of about 30 were alone in the Doge for about an hour. It was nice not to wait for people to move to take pics. Our guide was wonderful. She was sweet and knowledgeable and didn’t seem like it was boring giving the same lecture over and over again. The church was more crowded but we still saw all we wanted to see. Great day in Venice!!

Glass factory and Houses of many colors.

Murano and the glass making factor was a highlight of our trip! Alexandra our tour guide was a very friendly lady and very knowledgeable about these two islands as well as the city of Venice since she was born and raised in Venice. She provided useful and interesting information about both Murano and Burano as well as the main city of Venice. Burano with its colorful houses was also enjoyable to visit. Our group of about 20 was a big plus when visiting these two islands. Having a private water taxi to get us out and back was also a PLUS. Would recommend this tour.

Our tour guide is from Murano and she was very knowledgeable on the tour. Seeing how the master glass makers work was fascinating and their show room is breathtaking. When we got to Burano we were able to see the most colorful houses and have some of the best gelato!

Fantastic food tour!

Rona was such a GREAT guide ! Explaining a lot of little story of the city and getting you to stunning uncommun and unknown spot !! The Gondala ride was on point, nothing hidden !!! I recommand the tour early in the morning ... between 9h and 10h PM. Less people and the city "stink" less (you'll understand). At the end of your tour, ask your guide for a real Venezia lunch spot... the spot we chosen was AMAZING for the food and Venezian vibe.

Wonderful tour, friendly and informative guide

Wonderful tour - our guide was friendly and informative. The pace was good as we got to see the Doge’s Palace and St. Marks Basilica. We had a nice coffee break in between. Then we had about an hour break before our gondola ride which was a bucket list item for us!

Great tour!

This was a great excursion. We had the best guide we could have ever hoped for. His name was Marco. We followed him thru the streets on a walking tour and he explained everything on the way. It was a lot of walking so be prepared with comfortable shoes. The Doge and Basilica were just beautiful inside. The gondola ride was a lot of fun. With the tour, you just skip the line and go right in which was nice. These places are very crowded so if you aren’t doing a tour, you will be waiting in line for a long time.

Very fun and educational not to mention DELICIOUS! Barbara and Martha were exceptional instructors and so personable! They’re great ambassadors for Viking and just genuinely delightful ladies! Barbara also went above and beyond to speak to our car service and arrange a private water taxi to deliver us and our luggage to the car park so we could get to our ship on time. Genuinely delightful and caring! Highly recommend this experience! So very organized and such a wonderful set up!

Our group of 19 was led by Grace from The Tour Guy- wonderful. She was passionate about the places , history, her country, and advocated for our group when others cut in line. The crowds are significant so having a guide like Grace was a gift! Highly recommend this. The 30 min gondola ride was extra sweet- just 2 of us, 5 pm so cooler, and it’s fascinating to watch these 11 ft boats navigate right angle turns. Great tour!

We had a wonderful time with our guide Sara. She provided us with a variety of Italian food that was delicious and was accompanied by wine from the region. I was surprised that none of it was pizza or tomato based pasta but all of it was super delicious. Highly recommend the tour.
