This pass will gives access to the whole of the Estate of Versailles (Palace, Trianon Estate and Gardens) along with Musical Gardens and fountain shows (as per operational schedule of Palace) and the Marie Antoinette’s private estate of the Grand Trianon, Petit Trianon, and the Queen's Hamlet, once beloved hideaways of the royal family. The gardens are accessible from 8 a.m., the Trianon estate from 12 p.m. The gardens exceptionally close at 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays during Night Fountains Shows from June to September as well as on Friday July 14, Tuesday August 15 and Saturday September 23. This ticket does not include access to the Grandes Eaux Nocturnes. Kindly note that the waiting time to enter the Palace of Versailles via middle door of dedicated Entrance A can be 30 mins in high season even with a pre-booked priority tickets. On busy days the palace entry timing vary vary by 2-3 hours, but you can enter the garden and other estate first and then enter palace later.

Fabulous tour of Versailles

Alistair was a wonderful tour guide. His instructions on where to meet to start the tour were very clear. He then lead us on this fabulous tour of Versailles narrating a story along the way that explained everything about Versailles and Louis XIV. He captivated us with his clear explanations of what we were viewing and timed everything so that we arrived just as fountains started to flow. He provided plenty of opportunities to take photos and also took photos of us as a couple at significant spots along the way so that we had some wonderful memories to recall our day. A very memorable experience and one we would highly recommend.

Versailles Tour Operator was great

This tour operator is on top of their business. I had multiple follow ups from them prior to the trip. The morning of the trip another email came with the name and license plate of the driver picking up at hotel. Hotel pickup is the only way to go on my opinion. There was a handover to our tour guide so no time was wasted looking for your guide with hundreds of people in the same area. The guide was very knowledgeable and made sure she had everyone together at each stop before explaining information. My husband has bad knees and walks slow. She always made sure we were not left behind. It was as close to a private tour we could get without the big price tag for that. Will be recommending to friends and family. Wishes we had used them for all our tours while in Paris. No other company came close to measuring up to them.

We were confused about where to meet but hadn’t read the meet up instructions properly because actually meeting outside the gates made perfect sense. Wonderful 1/2 day Versailles Bike Tour

This tour was absolutely perfect! We all (4 boys between 8 and 14 and 2 parents) had a great time. The bikes worked well and allowed us to see so much more than if we had been on foot. OJ “the Turkish delight” answered all our many questions, made us laugh, and was endlessly patient with our high energy kids. We learned so much. The hamlet was a highlight. It worked well for us just to breeze through the palace once the tour wrapped up.

Louis was the best!

Louis was the best tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly and patient with the children, engaging with them and showing us the splendors of Versailles. The magnificent gardens are best seen by golf cart. Try to get a tour near the end of the afternoon. We were the last tour and the palace was empty.

I have mobility problems, so we splurged on a private tour. It was well worth it -- our guide was so knowledgeable and so enthusiastic. We would have missed so much if we had gone on our own. (Also, because the elevator is in what was the royal family's private area, we got to see what one of their personal rooms looked like.)

The Best Way to Visit Versailles

Highly recommend. I’ve visited Versailles before on my own, so I didn’t expect this tour to feel completely different — but it did. It was far easier, more relaxed, and much more enjoyable than navigating it independently. Our guide met us at our hotel and drove us to Versailles, which let us see more of Paris along the way instead of worrying about trains and logistics. The biggest benefit came immediately: we bypassed the very long entry lines, even the timed-ticket line. Inside, the experience felt far more meaningful. Rather than just walking through rooms, we understood what we were seeing and why it mattered. The explanations brought the palace to life. We also had a lovely lunch at a local restaurant, and afterward were driven around the grounds and the outlying buildings. We covered far more without feeling rushed or exhausted. If you’ve already been to Versailles, this is the way to truly appreciate it. And if you haven’t, I can’t imagine a better introduction.

Must do! Our favorite thing about Paris

Today was the most fun & beautiful experience. Our guide was fantastic. He took great care & advised us on everything. I particularly loved the market & seeing all the beauty of Versailles outside. Honestly, the inside was just ok...nothing compared to exploring the grounds on bikes, strolling thru each detail that most miss, abd having a picnic by the reflection pond.
