Our tour of the Palace of Versailles was one of the highlights of our trip to France. I visited with my son, and our guide made the history come alive with fascinating stories and details we never would have learned on our own. The pace was excellent, and the tour was well organized, making it easy to navigate such a large and busy palace. Seeing the Hall of Mirrors, the King's and Queen's Apartments, and the beautiful gardens was truly unforgettable. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and happy to answer questions, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Versailles, especially if it's your first time. It was informative, memorable, and well worth it. We went on a tour with Livia, she was wonderful, very knowledgeable and funny. The tour made entrance to the palace very smooth and easy, much quicker than without a tour. Best way to visit Versailles

Our guide, Bartok (Bart), started us off at the market, where he shared his recommendations for the perfect picnic. Then, we got on our bikes and headed up to the grounds of Versailles. It was an incredible experience made even more special with his knowledgeable commentary. With his history lessons fresh in mind, we then started our self-guided tour of the castle itself. This will be one of our highlights of our trip to France. We can’t recommend Bart enough!

A well run and fascinating tour of Versailles

The tour was very well organized, comfortable and efficient in getting g to Versailles and the palace. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The palace was fascinating and the garden was lovely. I may not recommend it to all families as it was extremely hot, was a lot of walking at the palace and on the grounds and not many options for getting refreshments and resting. It was also took up a good portion of one of our days. That said, we did enjoy it and are glad to have done it.

Excellent guide! We had more time than we needed in the gardens, since Marie Antoinette’s separate building/house that is a distsnce from the palace was not included. One counter service with very limited seating area and one sit down full service restaurant are on the garden grounds.

One of the best tours

This is a must do trip if you want to visit Versailles. Our guide Bo got us organized and into the palace in a short time. She is an excellent example of what a guide should be. She is so knowledgeable about the palace and it’s history; she’s very willing to answer questions. Her ability to to keep us together in a crowded area is remarkable. It’s obvious she cares about the groups she is leading. You can’t go wrong choosing this adventure.

Versailles With Fabrice was Fabulous.

Our tour guide was exceptional. Fabrice was very impressive. He had an extensive knowledge of history which enhanced our tour of Versailles. He was prompt, accommodating, and able to engage the youngest members of our family during our tour. I wish we had booked Fabrice for the full day tour. It has been the best part of our trip so far.

Golf cart tour

Z was our guide for the Palace and grounds on golf cart tour. He was funny, knowledgable and kept great pace so we were never bored, overwhlemed or rushed. The grounds are gorgeous, the palace is opulent - book it! Our group of 4 inlcuded our 2 kids - 19yo and 16yo. My 19 yo said this was her favorite tour.

Super engaging story focused tour!

Carolina did an incredible job keeping our tour super interesting and focused on all the stories of the Kings and nobility that lived in the palace. This really brought the history to life and made it much more entertaining for us and our kids as we walked through the palace. Afterward, we were admitted into the gardens and rented a golf cart to drive around, which the kids appreciated during the record breaking heat.
