What are people saying about Versailles

Must do
I had been to Versailles years ago and wanted a guide. The first one cancelled about 24 hours before. Not happy. But booked again and our guide Vladina ;maybe Gladina) was superb. A little ray of sun and energy and with so much information. Enjoyed seeing all the extras and the gardens. Such a lively day. Not sure about Get Your Guide (we also had our Notre Dame guide cancel last minute with no explanation). But our guide could not have been better on this one!!

Opulent Tour
Mo was a great tour guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and maneuvered through the palace with ease. The palace itself was unlike anything I’ve seen in all my travels. Pictures truly do not do justice to this opulent historical landmark. Highly recommend going to the gardens. We would highly recommend any tour with Mo!

The Best Way to Visit Versailles
Highly recommend. I’ve visited Versailles before on my own, so I didn’t expect this tour to feel completely different — but it did. It was far easier, more relaxed, and much more enjoyable than navigating it independently. Our guide met us at our hotel and drove us to Versailles, which let us see more of Paris along the way instead of worrying about trains and logistics. The biggest benefit came immediately: we bypassed the very long entry lines, even the timed-ticket line. Inside, the experience felt far more meaningful. Rather than just walking through rooms, we understood what we were seeing and why it mattered. The explanations brought the palace to life. We also had a lovely lunch at a local restaurant, and afterward were driven around the grounds and the outlying buildings. We covered far more without feeling rushed or exhausted. If you’ve already been to Versailles, this is the way to truly appreciate it. And if you haven’t, I can’t imagine a better introduction.

A step back in time
Versailles is stunning with the painted ceilings and beautiful furnishings. The topping on the cake is Marie Antoinette’s farm. It truly takes you back in time. And there are no crowds there. You can take your time and soak it all in. There are even animals there. Our guide, Chris provided great information and answered all our questions. A truly special day

Versailles is a must-see for visitors to Paris, and its popularity can lead to very long lines. The best way to get around this is by heading out on a skip-the-line tour of Versailles, which allows you to get into the famous palatial complex quickly and efficiently, with little to no wait. Both full- and half-day options are available, and many include round-trip transportation from Paris.
