Please don't go directly to the Palace. First, check in at the GetYourGuide office, just a few minutes’ walk from the Palace. The trains are not running between the stations "PARIS AUSTERLITZ" and "Versailles Chateau Rive Gauche" from the 15th of July to the 23rd of August

- The time on your voucher is the meeting time at our shop (the tour departs a few minutes later). In case of late arrival for check-in, we cannot guarantee access to the palace. Fees will apply if you wish to reschedule for a later tour.
- The scheduled access time can be delayed on peak days due to various safety controls established by the Versailles Palace.
- The tickets for the Musical Show or Fountain Show are included
- Baby strollers may be refused at the entrance of the palace.
- The Palace tour lasts 1.5 hours, but add 30 minutes for tickets and security checks.
- From Wednesday 15 July to Saturday 22 August, the RER C will not operate between Paris and Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station, please use lines L (Versailles Rive Droite) or N (Versailles Chantiers) to reach the meeting point.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 27 travelers

Excellent tour of Versailles! Vrlinda, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made it easy to navigate, even with a stroller.

Frederic was amazing - so much passion and knowledge. Follows up on questions from beginning of tour. Also really appreciated audio system used by this agency - single earbud with audio enhancer - so we could clearly hear Frederic as crowds formed or we wandered a bit.

We went on a tour with Livia, she was wonderful, very knowledgeable and funny. The tour made entrance to the palace very smooth and easy, much quicker than without a tour. Our tour guide gave a full history and explanation of the whole grounds and each room individually. Definitely the best way to see the palace of versailles.

This experience was one for the books! I should start off by stating that we unfortunately joined the group from the palace location itself, instead of the meet-up location. As a guest I suggest downloading the app so you get the alerts from the appropriate tour team. Emails are sent out as well, but the app seemed to deliver information sooner. Do yourself a favor and look at the details before giving a taxi an address. I am happy the company made contact to confirm my group’s reservations and was still accommodating with this mix up as well. Our guide Mathis was so kind and understanding when we regrouped on the grounds. He caught us up on what we had missed, and reintegrated us into the full tour group. Mathis was knowledgeable with facts from the palace and incorporating the history of France with it. I learned more than I expected and absolutely welcomed Mathis’ expertise throughout the entire tour. The morning tour was truly the best time during the summer months as well; it didn’t seem too busy so had many opportunities to take pictures with minimal people in backgrounds. Mathis had offered to take pictures of each group while in the hall of mirrors, which was so kind. I am so grateful to have had Mathis as a guide. This was my first time leaving the country and I am truly looking forward to my next trip to France and exploring more!

Our tour guide, Leticia, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and always found us a great place to stand to listen to the history she was sharing. We had a tour of the palace and then had tickets to the Gardens and the Hamlet included. Unfortunately, we were there during the extreme heat so we weren’t able to go to Marie Antoinette’s estate due to an early closure, but no one could control that. They reimbursed us for this tickets very quickly. We truly enjoyed the tour and our guide.

When you arrived after the departure of the initial tour, we nevertheless arranged an alternative guided tour and honored your all-access booking.

Our guide, Anne-Sophie was fantastic! The meeting point is easy to find. The Get Your Guide Office is right across the street from the train station (Versailles Rive Gauche). The office is to the right of McDonalds. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff there as well. Anne-Sophie made French history come alive as she explained different points of interest in each room. She navigated the crowds flawlessly and provided headphones so we could all hear well. She answered all of our questions and even encouraged them. We freely explored the gardens and Trionons after (as we booked the garden ticket that included them). It’s a very vast estate so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. I had about 20,000 steps that day and that’s with using the “petit train”that goes between the palace and the Trionons. Thank you for a great tour, Anne-Sophie!

Having a guide explain/describe the construction of Versailles Palace is necessary to appreciate its place in French and world history. We also enjoyed walking the gardens with an experienced guide to explain the design/use by the King Louies. Amazing day!!

This was a very comprehensive tour. So wonderful!! The fact that our tickets came with the tour (gardens and palace) was HUGE and the limited number of tourist (16) was just perfect!

Our guide Ruben was spectacular, giving us immensely important historical context the entire tour. Understanding the significance and purpose of each room turned a series of mega-opulent spaces into a meaningful walk through the lives of French kings and queens.

Really enjoyed our tour with Danielle. The meeting point was easy off the train. Danielle was so knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. We also did the gardens tour and Danielle explained the significance of some of the fountains. Highly recommend!

Our guide was informative about the history, though not about the plants in the garden. The fountains do not run when it is hot for conservation. Nice experience.

Our tour guide Laetitia was very knowledgeable and personable! She provided great instruction and got us through all of Versailles smoothly in the gardens even on a hot August day. The headsets also worked well and directions from the desk were clear.

Booked this Tour with Viator with GetYourGuide (where your check in) and everything went smooth. We met at the desk (provided our names and ID) and got a friendly welcome. We were told to wait in the hall and all the tour guides names were written so we knew we were in the right place to wait. Our tour guide was Vladina and she was great. There was approx 20 people in our group and Vladina announced our names and we were given a device and ear phones (just one ear). I had no issues hearing her and she said she had extras if there were any problems. The tour of the Palace and Grounds was passed from the knowledge of Vladina and my wife and had a great time. She was a great tour guide! Definitely would recommend this tour as it felt personalized even with a larger group.

Our tour guide was Sergio from GetYourGuide. This guide was extremely rude and needs to work on his social skills. We were told that we were holding up the group (because I needed to do a diaper change and I clearly told him we'd catch up to the rest of the group), that we were not listening to him, that we didn't want to be there -- just a bunch of negativity from this tour guide. At one point, he didn't even want to speak his native language, spanish with one of our family members.
