    • ⚠️ This bike tour explores the exterior of the Château and the surrounding estate (where cycling is allowed), it does not include entry tickets to the Château or the Trianon. These must be purchased separately, giving you the freedom to explore these sites on your own schedule.
    • ⚠️ E-Bikes are available as an option. The minimum height requirement for E-Bike use is 165 cm. Please note that E-Bike riders may be grouped with participants using standard bicycles during the tour.
    • ⚠️ A minimum of 2 participants is required for this tour to operate.

    Our most fun activity during our nine days in France! Alex and the owner of this bike company are terrific folks. They are knowledgeable and have excellent routes for exploring the city!

    Ask for the e bike if you want one. They have both kind of bikes for you to choose from, ebike makes it sooo much easier !

    Easy going bike around the lake and woods at Versailles. Alex was an excellent guide! Would have liked the tour to be longer, 3-4 hours instead of 2 since the grounds are so big.

    A relaxing outdoor experience around Versailles with fellow tourists

    If you're into a more engaged experience with a lot of movement and a calm wind in your face, get a bike tour. Our tour guide was kind and generous about the directions we wanted to go in, but ultimately we kept to a specific path that led us to some fascinating locations around the famous palace. This is NOT a tour if you want to see the palace interior or gardens, however. I also would not recommend doing both this bike tour or an inside palace tour because you'll get a lot of the same information and twice the fatigue. For my personal needs, a bike tour is the best kind of engagement.

We keep it this way so guests have the freedom to explore those areas on their own if they want, either before or after the ride, at their own pace.     Two hour tour with kids

    Great two hour ride around the grounds with Alex. Very welcoming guide, trip had a nice cadence that was enjoyable for our whole family. Family included eight year old, twelve year old, and fourteen year old children. Biking was pretty easy, even for the short section through town.

    It’s a great way to learn about Versailles and Louis XIV. You really appreciate the size of the estate when you cycle around it. The guide, Alex, was very friendly and knowledgeable. My only regret was I would have liked to have seen more of the gardens

    Beauty on a bike

    This is so fun! You get to see the entire property on the comfort of a beach cruiser bike. Shaded trails and beauty everywhere you go. I clocked the trip at 7.5 mi from the bike shop round trip. Trails are mostly flat. Alex was a gem, had tons of interesting information, and just takes pride in what he does. 10/10 would recommend.
