Amazing value and far surpassed our expectations!

When we arrived for our 9:40 AM tour, they offered us the 1020 tour as the earlier one had about 25 people and the later one only had about 10 which I found very courteous. Our to our guide was Kristina and she was witty, informative, and an absolute delight to view the palace with. She had many helpful hints, tips and tricks for visiting the rest of the grounds after our palace tour.

Lovely ride and lesson of history through the Versailles Gardens

All day bike ride through the Versailles Gardens with tour of the three museums on site. Lovely beginning to the day with a stop at a market to purchase lunch. Our guide gave us excellent suggestions. The patisserie was unlike any I have seen before. The guide stopped often enough to easily pace the ride, giving insights and history of the gardens. We had intermittent rain, but were able to duck under cover when needed. The museum at the end was a lot though. I can't imagine what the tour would be like if it was twice as crowded! It was a bit overstimulating for me. I much preferred the biking of the gardens!

Fantastic tour and communication

The meeting place was listed at the statue of King Louis XIV. I was a little worried as to where the statue was. No worries. It is the BIG statue at the drop off location. You can't miss it! We had a great tour and a fantastic guide. My husband was having some difficulty and our guide went and got a wheelchair. He was so patient and kind. I hate that I can't remember his name.

Stunning Versailles

This was my second visit to Versailles but first time with a guide. Our guide, Isabel was lovely and extremely knowledgeable. She explained much of the history of Versailles and its inhabitants. Stress-free Way to Visit Versailles

We were very pleased with our Private Tour of Versailles. Our wonderful guide, Zara, picked us up promptly at our Paris hotel in a very clean and comfortable Tesla. She proved right away that she is a skilled and experienced driver in the crazy Paris traffic, maneuvering through the traffic circle around the Arch de Triumphe like a champ. Zara speaks English very well, and we had no difficulty understanding her. She began our tour immediately after our introductions, explaining the origins of the palace with Louis XIV and continuing, so that by the time we arrived at Versailles, we had a good understanding of what we were about to see. When we arrived at the palace, Zara dropped us off at the entrance while she located a parking space for her car. She was very clear about where we were to meet her. We didn't have to wait long, as she was able to park and get back to us within a few minutes. She got us right into the palace, skipping the lines that were already forming. Once inside, she provided us with listening devices with ear buds so that we could hear her clearly over the other guides in the crowded venue. We were very pleased with her knowledge of Versailles and the history of France and the events leading up to the French Revolution that she shared with us as she expertly guided us from room to room. She also provided us with an opportunity to enter and photograph the amazing gardens. During our return drive to Paris, our guide pointed out landmarks and made suggestions of other things we might be interested in doing and seeing while in Paris. Again, we were impressed with her ability to navigate Paris traffic and drop us off safely at our hotel. We were very happy with our experience.

Historical Versailles Private Tour

Gustavo was at our hotel a few minutes early, so we were already on our way by 2 pm. It was a great experience for our first visit to Versailles. Gustavo shared a lot of history about Versailles, including information about the royal families of France in relation to Versailles and history of Versailles itself - from the beginning to now. He pointed out the reservoir for the water that feeds the fountains and explained a little about how they work. After our tour of Versailles, we spent time in the gardens and were able to admire the fountains - which were running! We didn’t stay as long as we might have if it was warmer and not raining.
