Make your own way to the Palace of Versailles by taking the RER C train from central Paris or by private vehicle.
Your guide will meet you at the GetYourGuide Shop, located just across the street from the Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station, to begin your visit.
Enjoy a 90-minute guided tour of the opulent French palace. Witness the splendor of the King’s and Queen’s State Apartments, and marvel at the iconic Hall of Mirrors while your guide provides insights into the rich history of the palace.
Following the guided portion, step into the expansive gardens at your leisure, though note that additional fees apply on days featuring the fountain or musical shows. Your tour ends when you decide to make your way back to Paris.

- The time shown on your voucher is the meeting time at the office. The tour will depart a few minutes after.
- Entry is only possible together with the guide at the scheduled time.
- In case of late arrival, access to the Palace is not guaranteed. If a later tour is available, additional fees will apply to reschedule.
- From April to October, an additional garden ticket is required (Musical Gardens and Fountain Shows). The gardens are free from November to March.
- On peak days, the scheduled access time may be delayed due to security checks implemented by the Palace of Versailles.
- The Palace tour lasts 1.5 hours, but add 30 minutes for tickets and security checks.
- Baby strollers may be refused at the entrance of the palace.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 27 travelers

Q:Can we visit the gardens while at Versailles?
A:Absolutely! Between November and March, admission to the gardens is complimentary, however, from April through October there is a separate admission required for the gardens, payable upon arrival.

A Must See! Amazing history, artifacts & architecture! However, be prepared for extreme crowds. Would not recommend taking children & also not going in summer months. Take a water bottle, umbrella & a fan of some sort.

The Palace of Versailles is huge -- lots of walking and stairs. Our guide was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoyed sharing the history of the palace as well as lesser-known stories with us. We booked the tour because there were no entry tickets available anymore for the dates we wanted to go, but it was definitely worth every cent. Our guide knew a lot about the building, paintings, ceilings, garden and even more about the history. She answered the most random questions with ease and knew how to tell the stories.

We got a fantastic tour from our guide Anna. We only booked the tour because we needed tickets for the next day, but because the tour was well done in the end we didn’t event mind paying the extra 35 euro.
The palace is super crowded and Anna managed really well to guide us through the masses

FLOR was just excellent. So, so knowledgeable, very entertaining and funny, and extremely organized. Make sure you get her.
Really helpful to have this entrance option and a guided flow through the palace. Without it, we would be in a mess of people, confused and not enjoying much. It's a lifeline.

Anna , our guide, was very knowledgeable. Tour company was very flexible as we arrived late x our tour but they were able to accommodate us . Skipping the lane option is a plus as there are hundreds of people waiting to get into palace via regular entrance.
