Make your own way to the Palace of Versailles by taking the RER C train from central Paris or by private vehicle.
Your guide will meet you at the GetYourGuide Shop, located just across the street from the Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station, to begin your visit.
Enjoy a 90-minute guided tour of the opulent French palace. Witness the splendor of the King’s and Queen’s State Apartments, and marvel at the iconic Hall of Mirrors while your guide provides insights into the rich history of the palace.
Following the guided portion, step into the expansive gardens at your leisure, though note that additional fees apply on days featuring the fountain or musical shows. Your tour ends when you decide to make your way back to Paris.

- The time shown on your voucher is the meeting time at the office. The tour will depart a few minutes after.
- Entry is only possible together with the guide at the scheduled time.
- In case of late arrival, access to the Palace is not guaranteed. If a later tour is available, additional fees will apply to reschedule.
- From April to October, an additional garden ticket is required (Musical Gardens and Fountain Shows). The gardens are free from November to March.
- On peak days, the scheduled access time may be delayed due to security checks implemented by the Palace of Versailles.
- The Palace tour lasts 1.5 hours, but add 30 minutes for tickets and security checks.
- Baby strollers may be refused at the entrance of the palace.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 27 travelers

Q:Can we visit the gardens while at Versailles?
A:Absolutely! Between November and March, admission to the gardens is complimentary, however, from April through October there is a separate admission required for the gardens, payable upon arrival.

Not worth the money. Danielle, our guide was nice and knowledgeable but for the price of this tour, it is not worth it. The general entry tickets into the Palace allow you to walk everywhere we walked and there are many information plaques in every room, and if you want more information, it is very easy to look it up on the internet (searching up that specific room and/or painting). I was very disappointed to pay a lot of money and have our whole group delayed from starting the tour because of 3 missing people, which wasted 30 minutes out of a 90-minute tour. Not Danielle's fault for having to wait for them and send them their tickets, but the tour company should not punish the people who show up on time because of unorganised people.

This was a fabulous tour and I highly recommend! Our guide was absolutely terrific. She said we could call her Chloe, sadly I can’t remember her traditional French name, but she was the best guide I’ve ever had. She was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and expertly guided a group of 25 through a very crowded palace. Even my 17 year old daughter loved the tour!!! I also was to thank the tour operator, we were running a few minutes late due to a train cancellation and I messaged them through the app, they were extremely responsive, and we were still able to join the group. This was a terrific experience all around!

We would thoroughly recommend this tour if you are starting from the meeting place. We spent 4 hours walking around the gardens then had to leave the grounds for a 10 minute walk to the office for the guide and then walk back to the palace.

Be prepared for massive crowds. Thank goodness we ha3d booked a tour. Our tour guide very artfully guided us through the tour so she could give us the history. She was exceptional keeping us together and informed.

We had a fantastic tour. Alfonso was extremely knowledgeable and such a good historical storyteller. The group had lots of questions which he fielded with easy. It was a good about of time in the palace and the courtyard. We also appreciated his recommendation for the gardens.

Could not have imagined visiting the Palace of Versailles without our knowledgeable guide who shared the history as we walked through the palace. Versailles palace was very crowded, the guide rushed to the entrance never asking if she’s too fast. Inside she gave us meeting points in case of losing her, I lost her and she wasn’t at the 2 next points she mentioned , I missed half of the tour, continued on my own as best as I could. It was very expensive for what I got and should be reimbursed.

Don’t go on a Tuesday because that’s the day the Louvre is closed so the crowds are really bad at Versailles.
Tour and tour guide was great and Di d his best to find us clear spaces.

Our tour guide was very informative and kind. I did find he spoke a little too fast and that he went fast so I asked him to slow down and he did. This tour was advertised as 2 hours, but after waiting for people who were late and getting into Versailles, it was one hour and a half. A two hour tour for me means 2 hours in Versailles with the tour guide. Thank you.

We did enter the museum quickly.
I think our guide Lucie needs to work on her presentation. She was slow with her information and it was hard to keep attentive.

My son and I took the English tour of the Palace of Versailles and had an incredible experience. Our tour guide, Valerie, was absolutely wonderful! First of all too many people are let into the palace at a time. Then Lucie was the worst tour guide ever. She spoke too slowly. She seemed to be performing to entertain herself. She picked at a sore on her lip. She spent 15 minutes or more helping resolve a ticket problem for others in our group. She didn’t keep the group together. We did t even get to see the queens rooms as our guide was not there to guide us. My granddaughter who has studied all about Queen Marie Antoinette on her own time was very disappointed. Worst experience is all my Parisian vacation.

The your was very crowded and other tour guides were rude and pushy. They need better timed entry to space out crowds. Was much happier getting out in the beautiful gardens away from do many people.

While our tour group ended up making us late to the versailles and we had to pay another fifty dollars to enter. That was unwelcomed extra charge.

To ensure you could still visit Versailles, we rescheduled you to a later time slot and purchased new tickets on your behalf. The additional amount paid covered the cost of these replacement tickets.

The tour was very clearly organized with very clear meeting instructions. It was a very small group with a knowledgeable tour guide . The line entering the palace looked like one thousand people as it stretched to the front gate . Our tour skipped the line and essentially walked right into the palace in “noble “ fashion. I’d certainly recommend this tour .
