Art
Our tour guide gave us an amazing explanation of the artist who worked at the Sistine chapel as well as in the Saint Peter’s basilica. The art you saw was impersonating!

Vatican Small Group English Tour
If you want a premium experience this is the tour for you. Our guide Maria Claudia was excellent. The skip the line was so valuable on a hot crowded day. Especially St Peters priority entry. Learning about the Sistine chapel before experiencing gave us a better appreciation for what we were seeing.

Day excursion to the Vatican
My wife and I recently stayed a couple of nights in Rome with friends prior to a cruise vacation. While there, we took an excursion to the Vatican booked through Viator. During our excursion, we saw the Vatican museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St Peters. The tour was for the four of us only and that was really intimate unlike the many that we saw with dozens of people. Our tour guide Alesio Zito was very knowledgeable and detailed. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this tour highly.

Educational and fun
Really good tour with Sara. She did a great job of pointing out the highlights for us without being boring. Gave us enough history so things made sense and told us specific things to look for as we went around, like certain details in the Sistine chapel. Even our 18 year old thought it was interesting. All in all a great tour and definitely recommend it.

The sights were beautiful...
The sights were beautiful and the guide wasbreally king and informative, my favorite part was when the tour guide said Micheal Angelo was the first artist to sign his own sculpture. One thing I would have changed would to have been to see one of the popes burial areas while still with the guide, and also to have stayed in the Sistine Chapel for longer.

Worth the 5 hours!
This tour was totally worth every minute of the 5 hours. It is long but our guide was excellent. She gave so much history and detail. Finding rhe meeting location was challenging but that was the hardest part. Everything else was taken care of by the guide. We loved climbing the dome. There is a cafe on top! The museums were worth the time and the Sistine chapel is worth seeing once but it was very crowded. All in all a great experience.

Vatican Museum St Peter’s Basilica and Sistine Chapel
Our guide Norman was very patient and informative with his knowledge of Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel & St Peter’s Basilica. Leonardo Da Vinci was amazing artist and sculptor. Respect. Lots of walking however expected.
Would highly recommend 😄

Our tour guides were...
Our tour guides were great and funny! The first guide who showed us Saint Peter’s Basilica talked a lot and went over the time so then the next guide for the Vatican and Sistine Chapel was rushed. But all in all it was great!

Great tour
Our tour if the Vatican with Monica was amazing. If you are considering doing a private tour I highly recomend. It was well worth it from start to finish. We did not wait on one line and Monica expertly guided us through the museum, Sistine Chapel and Saint Peters. She was so knowledgeable and interesting!

Of course you’ll want to...
Of course you’ll want to go to the Sistine Chapel. Our tour guide warned us that people will all be shoving each other trying to get the perfect picture, and this is true. Expect it to be very busy here. You’ll like spend only 5-7 minutes in the chapel itself. Also note that there are many other beautiful ceilings throughout the museum, and hundreds of other works of art, tapestries, statues, etc. to see and admire.
