We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide Julianna was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, providing lots of information on all the art works in the museum as well as the Sistine Chapel. This really made our experience :)
Gavin_D, Jul 2026
A huge thank you to Lauuricio! On a 40°C day, my mother-in-law was struggling to walk, and he went above and beyond by personally fetching a wheelchair so we wouldn’t miss our tour. His kindness and compassion made all the difference, and we are incredibly grateful. Lauuricio is a real credit to your company!
Rebecca_R, Jul 2026
The Vatican is extremely busy. Early would be best. We were 10:30 and it was very busy at that time.
Kim_W, Jun 2026
The headsets provided were not high quality and our tour leader was difficult to understand. I've been on other tours with excellent headsets and tour leaders, so suspect we didn't luck out this time. It's expensive, though. Recommend booking early to avoid later price hikes.
Elizabeth_L, May 2026
It was really, really crowded which is not the fault of the tour. However, at first we didn’t have headsets (didn’t get them until we got into the Vatican) and it was tough to hear our guide during the walk over and before we entered into the building. In the Vatican, because of the crowds, it was also hard to hear our guide.

Juliana was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide! The museum is very extensive so glad we had a guide!

Our guide Juliana has a wealth of information about the history of the places we visited. We are fortunate that we had her for a guide.
Response from Host, May 2026

Her passion and deep knowledge of the history of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel truly make the experience memorable, and we’re so happy you felt fortunate to have her as your guide. We greatly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again on another tour soon!

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the tour very much. She even helped us flag a cab when the tour was over.
Response from Host, May 2026
Dear Christine,
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the tour and found your guide knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the experience.
It’s also lovely to know she went the extra mile to assist you after the tour as well. We truly appreciate your kind feedback and hope to welcome you again for another memorable experience in Rome!
Sandy_H, May 2026
The tour was well planned and Julianna, our tour guide, was exceptionally good. She had a masterful knowledge of the Vatican Museum art works and the Sistine Chapel; was patient in responding to questions; and very kind and accommodating regarding my husband’s sore back.
The only drawback to the tour was the crowding, but of course that’s not the fault of the tour group.
Emilio_P, Apr 2026
The tour guide named Juliana was superb. I was astonished of her knowledge of history and things that she did to prepare for our tour that were amazing. She had pictures she had items that we should look at or pay attention to during the tour, which made it easy to understand the history of the artwork we were looking at.
Lisa_R, Apr 2026
Many tours are longer- but for us 66?yos, this was enough! Well organized and appreciated the off the entrance meet up!
Juliana was very knowledgeable, helpful and efficient- appreciated her a lot!
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Dear Lisa,
Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad to hear that the tour length was a good fit for you and that you appreciated the organization and convenient meeting point away from the entrance.
It’s wonderful to know that Iuliana’s knowledge, helpfulness, and efficiency made the experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again in the future! 😊
Elizabeth_O, Apr 2026
Amazing tour and a truly fantastic guide!
Julianna was incredibly knowledgeable and humorous and obviously in love with her job.
karlyn_e, Apr 2026
It’s insanely busy, the tour guide was excellent but the system Eats into
So much time that our experience was hampered . We met at the organised point as directed 20 mins in advance of the 2:30 slot then went to the entrance for our 3pm slot so already we are at almost an hour of waiting . This time meant we felt like we had already missed an opportunity to see stuff.
The place is so busy that actually enjoying things properly and keeping track of the group and the guide meant we couldn’t deviate in any way.
That being said I cannot fault our guide - knowledgeable, charming and capable
I’d organise for a morning trip so that you can take advantage of the access for the day as there is so much to see , and therefore so much we missed. I’d have loved to spend time in the gardens and looking at the modern art.

Sorry to give a low rating. I do feel horrible about it however I want future guests with kids to avoid our same experience. If you want a higher level art history lesson for 3 hours then you will enjoy this tour. With teens it was torture for them. I was hoping for art history with engagement and highlights. For example in the tapestry room, the Jesus resurrection optical illusion was buried in a long rambling and AFTER we passed the tapestry. I hope this company considers making a branch aimed for families. The Vatican and Sistine chapel is still engaging for kids! Our guided didn’t even explain about the Vatican being its own country with my daughter asking “are we at the Vatican” and “what is the Vatican” until I had to take her aside and explain the simple facts. Also our tour guide seemed flustered with the day and how to navigate the crowds going back and forth many times. Also please note, don’t choose the 9am on Wednesday when the Pope gives audience. You can’t get into the square or basilica….while also missing the pope. Huge let down to be honest (I’ll take responsibility that I should I looked it up but saving you from the mistake)
Response from Host, Mar 2026

Solskin_G, Jan 2026
The tour felt heavily focused on the Sistine Chapel. Since guides are not allowed to speak inside the chapel, much of the explanation took place in various sections of the museum beforehand, which made the rest of the visit feel more like moving from one briefing spot to the next.
I asked whether it would be possible to continue into St. Peter’s Basilica at the end of the tour, especially since the group was already moving in that direction, but I was told this was not an option. I would have been willing to pay the extra.
One logistical point that stood out was at the beginning of the tour, when we were advised to use the restroom before starting, but were directed to nearby cafés rather than having access to a restroom at the meeting point itself. This felt a bit inconvenient.
That said, the guide herself was pleasant, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with tourists and the history she was sharing. Overall, my feedback is more about the tour organization and administration than the guide, who did a good job with what she was given.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Dear Solskin,
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We appreciate you sharing both the positives and the areas for improvement.
The Sistine Chapel requires explanations to be given beforehand, as speaking inside is not allowed, and we understand how this can affect the flow of the visit. Entry into St. Peter’s Basilica depends on the tour type and logistics, and we’re sorry this wasn’t possible in your case. We also apologize for the inconvenience regarding restroom access at the meeting point.
We’re very pleased to hear that the guide was knowledgeable and professional, and we truly value your comments about tour organization as they help us improve. Thank you again for your insights.

Dear William,
Thank you so much for your review!
We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the experience. There is indeed a good amount of walking and stairs, so we’re happy to know it was all worth it in the end.
We hope to welcome you back on another tour soon!
Debbie_M, Nov 2025
Luck has Lot to do with it. Our guide was rude and spoke in a condescending manner. She was more interested in talking about herself. She also went at a break-neck speed without turning around to see where the tour participants were located. She was horrible! The tour was on November 17, 2025. It was miserable.
MaryBeth_P, Nov 2025
Biggest rip off for the cost. Not worth $225 for an hour and a half from start to finish .Headsets would not work, kept falling off my ear! Very crowded. Difficult to get to for directions of meet up. Truly disappointed!!! She was knowledgeable. Better to go on your own pace save the money!
Eileen_G, Nov 2025
Don't go during Jubilee year.
St. Peter's was closed to tours and public for special events.. Not a good time to go Paild to see St. Peter's and couldn't get in. Hopefully I will get a refund for the 30eurs I paid to get in.
Rick_F, Nov 2025
Vatican Museum was great to see from the outside, beautiful and even got to hear the Pope speak. Really nothing to see on the inside of Vatican Museum, which I would not do again. The Sistine Chapel was beautiful and worth it, even tho our guide was not great. She was hard to understand English, muffled in ear piece, and had an attitude from the beginning, sorry.
Editha_M, Oct 2025
It was a blessing to be able to visit the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, Museum and much more. We love our tour guide.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear Editha,
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit and had such a wonderful experience with your tour guide. It’s always our goal to make every tour memorable!
Sandra_A, Oct 2025
Initially disappointed that the Sistine chapel was closed due to English Royal’s visit, but then delays were long enough that it reopened and we had a historic visit.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear Sandra,
Thank you for your feedback! As mentioned in our tour programs, some sites may occasionally be closed due to special religious occasions, which are beyond our control. We’re very glad to hear that the Sistine Chapel reopened in time and that you were still able to fully enjoy your historic visit.
Jared_S, Oct 2025
The tour guide never stopped talking. It was like word vomit. It made it hard to remember any of the information because she just kept telling you more and more things. It made it unclear on what was really important or not. They tried to upsell the additional bascilica guided tour, but access to the bascilica is free if you want to take a bit of a longer walk.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear Customer, thank you for your review, which gives us the opportunity to respond. A shared group tour of the Vatican Museums, one of the largest in the world, naturally has limited time (maximum 3 hours). To satisfy the interests of a diverse audience, a good guide must try to provide all the historical and artistic information about at least the most famous sites included in the tour. This means, unfortunately, or for others, receiving a lot of information in a short time. Regarding St. Peter's Basilica, we offered you an optional supplement: a guided tour with priority entrance, not just free entry from the normal, very long line you would have had to wait in from St. Peter's Square. You could have chosen that option without paying anything else and avoided listening to another "river of words." If you book another cultural tour, we recommend requesting a private guide so you can choose the time and amount of information you want to hear.
Sonia_S, Oct 2025
