I did the full-day Yehliu, Jiufen and Shifen tour as a solo traveller, and Allan Lai was an excellent guide. He was really friendly, warm and enthusiastic throughout the day, and his knowledge of Taiwan and each stop made the tour much more interesting. Everything was very well organised, and he kept the day moving efficiently so we got to make the most of our time at every location instead of spending ages waiting around. As a solo traveller, I also really appreciated that Allan took loads of great photos for me, so I came away with some fantastic memories of the trip. I’d definitely recommend this tour, especially if you get Allan as your guide. He made for a really enjoyable and well-run day

High into the hills of Taiwan. Whilst a bit of walking we didn't find it too onerous and we are in our late 70's. Our wonderful guide Howard devised a route which was faily flat as there are lots of uneven paths and many stairs Went to jifen Water fall which was lovely and had a sky lantern experience in the middle of a train track just before the train came. Great private tour with Benson. Prompt pickup from Keelung cruise terminal. Saw all the major sites for Taiwan. Benson suggested a small change in the shopping area that we visited and it suited us better than the original one recommended. Because of a delayed...

Because of a delayed connection we missed our flight to Taipei. So we were rebooked for the following day. We found out about the delay after the 24 cancellation window was passed. I messaged the provider directly and called Viator. The Viator help desk did nothing for me. They just said it was outside the window so no changes were possible. The provider response was give them the new flight information and they would be there. And they were!! The car was very nice and the travel time was less than the quoted time. I would use them again.

Great Walking Day Tour of Yangmingshan National Park

Wonderful and relaxing day touring Yangmingshan National Park. Our delightful guide from Edison Tours was terrific. He had excellent English and knew a great deal about the park. He follows the itinerary perfectly, kept us all on track, and knew when to talk and guide then give us free time. He provided excellent, clear directions and descriptions for all out stops and even helped take some great photos for us. I probably would not have had a chance to visit the park on my own during my stay in Yaiwan, so taking this trip proved to be a pleasure and long, busy, but highly enjoyable day. We even made a stop at the "greenhouse" at the park for a very traditional Chinese lunch and it was not only a wonderful cultural experience, but the garlic and chicken soup I ordered was delicious and perfect for the day. Edison Tours, incidentally, was extremely efficient and clear with their communications and meeting directions. Super cheerful, friendly, helpful.

Picked up at the cruise port and taken into the city and shown around dihua street, Wanhua district, Lungshan temple, Wanhua district, the beautiful and impressive Chiangmai Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and finishing off at the Taipei 101 tower and shopping mall. Macron was our driver and guide for the day and he was a very intelligent and comical young man. Macron took care of our family all day and designed the trip to meet our needs and also ensure we had sufficient time at each of the attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would like to thank Macron for making our day trip so special and leaving us with great memories of our first visit to Taipei.

A truly amazing and fun experience. The entrance was a little confusing to find if you are very familiar with the area. The restaurant workers next door were able to point me in the right direction! The instructors were so friendly and patient. Makes even the most novice chef feel like a pro. Would recommend to anyone and everyone who wants a half day activity. We had the most incredible day exploring Taiwan with our tour guide, Oliver. He took us to Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, the Golden Waterfall, the Yehliu Geopark, and even made a special stop for us to light a lantern and make wishes—plus several other thoughtful stops along the way. His timing was *perfect*; we always arrived just before the big bus tours, which made every experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Oliver was not only knowledgeable—sharing fascinating history and stories about Taiwan—but also genuinely personable and so easy to chat with. By the end of the tour, it felt like we had made a new friend. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Skip the crowded big bus options and book this tour instead. You’ll get a much more intimate, meaningful, and memorable experience. Highly recommended!
