I had an absolutely wonderful day with Charlotte. It was my fourth and last day in Taiwan, and she took me to many places and I hadn't seen yet, and encouraged me to try the things I'd heard about but didn't know where or how to try. So we had tea eggs (hard boiled eggs marinated in tea) a type of fruit I've already forgotten the name of, and various nut and sesame and tea infused treats. We went to a traditional market, and I got to ask all my many questions, mostly: what is THAT? I have traveled in Asia before, to Japan and Singapore and Indonesia, but it was a luxury to ask all my questions. We went the beautiful Grand Hotel built by Chaing Kai-shek to receive his guests, and also to a lovely smaller temple, My favorite thing was that we went to a tea house to have traditional Taiwanese tea. The Makong Gondola was closed for maintenance this week, and there wasn't enough time to go up the mountain, but Charlotte found me a tea house in town. It was very soothing to have the tea demonstration and then sit and enjoy it. I highly recommend the experience. I also highly recommend this tour and Charlotte!

My tour guide and the tour company were super helpful. They're also very informative and quick to response. I got contacted 5 days before the tour. Winnie- my tour guide speaks fluent English, very nice, and answered all my questions. She explained the history and culture of Taiwan and also showed me how to navigate around the subway station. Would definitely recommended.

We travel a lot and take a lot of private tours. This was unfortunately probably the worst we've ever taken. Our guide Henry is a super nice person and will be very successful in life - but touring with him is not ideal.
When he speaks - he speaks only to one person - whoever is near him. He doesn't include everyone. Or try to find out more about you/ what you like. He doesn't involve the entire family. And there isn't the charisma that most great tour guides have.
He also took us to a transpiration museum he himself had never been to.
I've never been on tour where the person giving the tour isn't super knowledgeable about our destination.
His outline of the schedule also didn't make a lot of sense. Meeting at one metro line just to transfer to another one?
We contacted him to simply suggest meeting at 1st location rather than wasting time on the metro.
We also ended up altering the plan he laid out and cutting the tour short.
I hate leaving anything but glowing reviews. And I rarely do.
But this tour operator should have more training and understanding of a guide's strength.
I do not recommend this tour.

Laid back tour guide that tailored to our needs. I would recommend him to others for a general sense of Taipei (which is what I was looking for) however I would look elsewhere for the nitty gritty detail.

Our guide Kevin was great. We set a fast pace and seen a lot of great sites in a short 4 hours. Kevin worked us on and off the trains to get to a number of important sites. We went in without a plan and Kevin was great at finding out what we wanted to see and getting us there. I highly recommend our guide Kevin and Viator for a quick impromptu exploration of Taipei!

My guide Charlotte spoke perfect English and had excellent communication skills following my booking to find out my interests and keep me informed about the tour logistics. She met me in the lobby of my hotel on time and had the day planned out. We used the MRT to get to the locations and then walked. I saw the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial, including the changing of the guard and the interesting basement museum and then on to the Bao’An Taoist Temple. We had local snacks along the way and finished the tour at an historical street with all sorts of local products and food.
I learned a great deal about Taipei from Charlotte. She is an excellent ambassador for the city.

My guide RoRo was very phenomenal! She completely customized the tour to everything I wanted to do. She was so helpful in making getting around the city easy. We had a great day together and saw so much more in a day with her then I ever would have on my own. We got in hiking Elephant mountain, temples, tea tastings, a market and much more! Would highly recommend.

We would 100% highly recommend dragon/ Peining Lung for this Private walking tour. She is friendly, well spoken, very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour.…
We had such a great time she took us on the trains metro & bus around the city and was all ways on hand showing us how to understand the metro lines. Conversations were not only on the sites we visited but also on the culture, different types of foods, and religions

Winnie is a wonderful tour guide. Even though most tourist attractions are closed on Monday she nevertheless was able to come up with an interesting itinerary. Winnie also knows where all the good food is and takes fantastic photos!
