Our tour guide was Giovanni and he was fantastic. We could tell he enjoys being a tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable not only about Etna but also the history of Sicily. We learned so much in just a short time accompanying him on the tour. The food was great and they even gave my son extra pasta on request. The Godfather vs. Mafia excursion was nothing short of amazing! Our tour guide, Valerio was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job of juxtaposing the theme of the movie with the real life violent history of the mafia family from Sicily. The tour was enjoyable and the pasta lunch was delicious!! I most definitely recommend this tour when visiting Messina!

Terrific Etna Wine Tour with Food

Tour included 3 wineries, all presented a different experience. We were lucky enough to have Guiliano as our guide and driver. Provided us with historical knowledge of the Catania area and Sicily along the way and is an excellent driver. The food provided was excellent, especially the lunch at the second winery. Beautiful views from each of the stops. It is a stress free way to enjoy the Etna wineries. Bring a hat, sun screen and water. Highly recommend it.

This experience started with a tour of the olive groves and learning how Francesco and his family harvest and make olive oil but the real treat was going to Francesco’s grandparents house. We enjoyed a light lunch while trying all the wonderful products Francesco and his family make. Everything was delicious! Having his adorable grandparents join us and talk to us was the real treat. What a delightful family.

From start to finish this was a brilliant day. Our guide Lucas was so knowledgeable and friendly - making us laugh a lot and made us feel very comfortable. Great experience!

Francesca was a fantastic teacher, highly recommend! We made 4 different things, pasta, eggplant parmesan, swordfish rolls and fish in salt. The class is in the middle of a working restaurant so it was noisy but a lot of fun. Taormina is a cute town as well. I would highly recommend this experience!

Brilliant trip!

Paulo was our skipper for the day and what an afternoon it was. With just 6 punters on board it made it for a personal experience. We sailed from Naxos along the coast to Taormina and the views are stunning, especially Mount Etna smouldering in the background. We had a couple of swim and snorkel stops along the way followed by a moored stop with cheese, salami and as much wine as needed. On the return to Naxos, Paulo gave my husband the opportunity to take the helm for 30 minutes with his expert guidance. He’s been unbearable since! We had the most awesome day with great company, highly recommended to all.
