Great tour!

The Basilica is absolutely stunning! Beautiful sculptures, mosaics and artwork. The view from the dome was amazing. The tour guide was very good and informative. The wait to get inside was disappointing as we expected that with a paid tour we would skip the line. Instead it was 50 minutes in the hot sun. And the climb to the dome wasn’t for everyone. There is an elevator but the wait for that was very long too. Still this is a tour that shouldn’t be missed!

We Love Valentin!

Valentin was our guide and we loved him. He was funny, patient, perfectly paced, and did a great job imparting the weight and feeling of the sites of such a beautiful and historic place. We felt that we visited at the perfect time (mid-April) and didn't experience long waits or heavy crowds. The meeting point for this tour is a huge landmark, so be sure to use your eyes and ask around, and give yourself plenty of time before the start of the tour to do so. Amazing!
