Heman our driver was the best

Our driver Herman made the trip extra special. He was so sweet, and just a gentleman. It was a very raining day when my sister, my niece and I took the tour with him. He took us to the monkey tour and when we were finished we were hesitant to the finish the beach tour because of the overcast. He encouraged us to at least go the location and then decide if we wanted to Boy we would have missed out if we did not listen to him We enjoyed our day at the beach (with an awesome lunch) and was so relaxing He then took us to purchase chocolate which was so delicious I would recommend this tour to everyone

Amazing tour with Carlos

This excursion was amazing and the highlight of our trip. Carlos provided excellent service. The pickup outside the port was easy, the personal driver experience was outstanding, and Carlos made sure we made the most of our time. Carlos even took us to a souvenir shop on the way back to port which had a great selection and reasonable prices. We highly recommend this excursion.

Perfect for a family

This was a fantastic experience for my 10 year old daughter and I. Would HIGHLY recommend. It was a little chaotic finding where to meet once we got off the ship. But, the people there are so friendly and helpful. All I had to do was tell them the company I booked with and they pointed me in the right direction. Our Guide Kenson was so kind. He walked us to check in at the office. It’s a short walk but he made sure we were safe. Once we arrived we signed our waivers and put into our harness. The guides on the zip line were so fun and encouraging. They could tell my daughter and I were nervous but they made sure we had fun. There was a photographer taking pictures that you have the option of purchasing at the end. It was inexpensive and the pictures were fantastic! I was highly recommend doing that vs trying to take your own pictures. After the zip lining we got to see the animals. I’f you have kids I would recommend this excursion. It took about an hour and a half so we still had the whole day to shop and swim!

Amazingly fun time!

We had such a great time on this excursion and Christian was the best driver and guide! AJ’s animal sanctuary was our favorite part- the staff genuinely cared about the animals, and we were able to pet the sloths and hold the monkeys, which I wasn’t expecting at all. Christian answered all our questions knowledgeably and even made an extra stop on the way back to the ship so that we could do some souvenir shopping. I would highly recommend!!

Great snorkel/beach day

Good trip overall, the driver was easy to find and was great to talk with about the island. The weather was rainy but the snorkeling was still top notch.There were only 8 people on the boat so it was very laid back and you definitely felt like you had more than enough time to explore at each location. The guide who was in the water with us was great and snorkeling over top the ship wreck was amazing. The beach stop at Brady’s Cay was also nice, not too crowded and good beachside bar/wait staff. We were not in port for very long and the local time was an hour behind ship time, so this excursion took up the whole day. If you plan on trying to do additional sight seeing, pay attention to your ships arrival and departure times.

Great tour with stories about growing up on the island.

We booked a private customized tour and we went to see the monkeys, sloths and macaws. Followed by the chocolate tasting and rum cake tasting. But was also had to make an emergency stop at the mega plex mall for something we forgot at home and it was no problem. Jeff talked to us about the island and he made our trip great. We also saw the French harbor and heard stories about him growing up on the island and the international fishing tournaments. Thank you Jeff for a great tour and stories you tied into what we were seeing.

Best beach and out of the wind

Swimming wasn’t as good as last year but it was overcast and rainy so check the weather forecast. It’s a beautiful easy walkable gently sloping beach and we enjoyed it. The facilities at the resort are acceptable and we found ourselves staying under cover quite a bit. David was awesome and very informative about the area, culture and food. The food prices at the resort were high, but we shared a hamburger and still couldn’t finish it so the value was there.

We had an amazing...

We had an amazing experience! This was our first time booking an excursion outside of the cruise line, and we were a little nervous, but everything was incredibly easy from start to finish. Our tour guide, Alanys, was absolutely wonderful. She made us feel like family from the moment we met her. She was friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and made sure everyone was having a great time throughout the day. Most importantly, she made sure we got back to the cruise port with plenty of time before our ship departed, which gave us complete peace of mind. We did the sloth and monkey excursion, visited the chocolate factory, and enjoyed some relaxing beach time. Every stop was well planned and so much fun. Seeing and interacting with the sloths and monkeys was definitely a highlight of our trip! If you’re considering booking an excursion outside of your cruise line, don’t hesitate. We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend asking for Alanys if you can. She truly made our day unforgettable!

We came for the monkeys and sloths but got so much more! Edward was our tour guide who was phenomenal. He was friendly, engaging, local, and knowledgeable. We had missed the cruise crowds so had extra time for coffee tasting across from the rum tasting. Bought the variety packs everywhere to sample all of the goodness (chocolate, rum, coffee) The cinnamon rolls from Coleman’s bakery were delicious. Photo op at Roatan sign included. 1000% recommend!

The sloth/monkey sanctuary was a great experience for all of us, including the kids. We were given the opportunity to see some cool animals up close and personal and even got tot interact with some of the animals. These interactions were the highlight of the tour for us. Joel at Best of Roatan Island Tour is awesome. He gave us the best excursion we have ever had on any island. Truly a 10 out of 10 experience. Meet us properly after our arrival. We chose to take a private boat ride touring the mangrove and visited a marine rescue. Took a nice tour of the island in an extremely clean van. We visited sloths and monkeys. Went to both rum and chocolate factories. Had an amazing time as it exceeded all of our expectations.

Zethro was a great tour leader!

Signed up for this excursion while in Roatan for our cruise. I was really interested in seeing the sloths and monkeys up close and my husband wanted to try ziplining. It was so hot but had a good time. The star of the show was Zethro as he gave us a private tour to wherever we wanted to go and brought us to many areas for pictures. We asked him to bring us somewhere for lunch where local food is served and had a great lunch.
