Great Tour
Had a great tour of Roatan. Our tour guide was very informative about the sites. Really enjoyed the animal sanctuary and had a great time at West Bay beach. Loved having a private tour just for our family and it was a special treat having his two daughters with us. I would strongly recommend Roatan Tour Co.

Favorite excursion!!!
It was very easy to find our tour guide, which was nice. The whole experience was amazing and by far our favorite port & excursion...just wish we had more time!! Tishara was so friendly & we enjoyed having her as our driver. The young boys who went snorkeling with us were also amazing. Roatan was absolutely beautiful!! The animal sanctuary was a very fun & entertaining stop...my only regret is that I didn't buy a donut from the adorable little boy selling them at the end of the tour. Snorkeling was incredible, Brady's Cay was a blast and the pina coladas were SO yummy! Book this excursion, worth every penny

Fun & For All Ages
This was the perfect tour for all ages. 2 grandparents, 2 adult children, and 2 kids 6 & 8. Something for everyone! We were able to personalize for our own day. Alfredo was the PERFECT tour guide. Kind, warm, and knowledgeable sharing information about the local culture. This ended up being the best tour of our trip.

Roatan Tour
Edgar was a very nice person. Our cruise delayed our arrival to Honduras port, and he waited for us. Responded to messages very quickly. After that, he was very kind and showed us around, explaining all the cultures and everything around us. Edgar was very enthusiastic and informative. I highly recommend this tour.

Great Snorkeling
Just my husband and myself... very VIP service! Valentino was an excellent guide and navigated the 3 locations as he swam along side us... He was so kind to take great underwater pictures with my camera for me! The reefs were beautiful! What an enjoyable afternoon! Would highly recommend this tour!

Amazing experience
Where do I start. Omar our guide was FANTASTIC!!!! He was very personable had great knowledge of the island, he also answered every question I asked about his culture. The monkeys were probably the best of our tour. They climb all over you as the instructor is putting peanuts on you head.
Highly recommend this tour of the island you will not be disappointed.
ALSO DONT FORGET TO ASK FOR OMAR

Incredible day around Roatan!
This was our first time booking outside of the cruise excursions and we were so impressed! Our driver for the day was JJ we couldn't have asked for a better fit for our sassy group! JJ took us to a newer animal sanctuary, and this was one of our favorite spots. Fed the monkeys, saw their rescued animals, almost store a baby deer and the SLOTHS!!! The baby sloth was active and so freaking precious! We went to a couple look out spots, got some beautiful views of the island. JJ recommended a spot for lunch that was over the incredibly blue water. Food was goooooood. Incredible views, with the gentle breeze from the ocean. We also went to the coffee and chocolate shop, and the chocolate there was out of this world!!! Seriously, can not wait to go back. We made it back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. If I could request JJ again when we come back I'll try to make it happen! He was so fun.

Enjoyable excursion
My family (3 adults & 2 children) took this tour in March 2026. We were very pleased. Our driver was Edward and was the best in so many ways. He was a local, very knowledgeable, polite, a safe driver and went at our pace. We went to the Mayan Jungle Sloth & Monkey Rescue Sanctuary. The price of admission was included in our excursion price. The guide at the rescue was kind to the animals, had a great deal of patience with the animals and all of us. He showed us how to get the monkeys and macaws to sit on our shoulders and heads. The sloths were so unique in their movements & behaviors. We were allowed to gently pet the sloths and take pictures with them up close. My grandchildren absolutely loved this adventure. The animals appeared to be well taken care of and the facility was clean. Next, we went to the chocolate place. Our driver directed us to go upstairs, and we received a demonstration about the chocolate making process with the cocoa pods. They also offered a digital picture (FREE) that had an interesting backdrop. We gave a small donation. The frozen chocolate dipped bananas on a stick were very tasty. We also made a stop at the rum location Then, we toured though the west end of the island and the driver offered to take us to a restaurant to eat lunch, but we were not hungry. He also took us to the Roatan sign and took our picture for us. We recommend this tour and the driver Edward. We would do this tour again, if back in Roatan. A great experience!

Parrots, and monkeys, and sloths. Oh, my!
You have to walk a little ways, but the tour guide drove us to the animal shelter. You could go in the cages with the parrots and spider monkeys. The shelter employee tells you what to expect prior to going in cages with you. The parrots will land on your arm or head! The monkeys will chase each other and bounce off your head! You cannot touch the sloths due to a change in the law, but you can see them up close and take pictures! So cute. We did not want to go to the beach since it was rainy, but our tour guide Felipe took us to a local flea market to souvenir shop. He then delivered us right back to where we needed to meet our ship.

Amazing experience & great company!
The location of the excursion company was easy to find and was very organized. The zip lining was amazing and much more than what I expected. From the first to the last zip line, it totaled about 20-25 minutes. The wildlife sanctuary portion of this excursion was amazing! We had an up close and personal monkey, macaw, and sloth experience. Due to the Honduran law, sloths are not allowed to be held. We were able to get close to them to take pictures. The macaws and monkeys were very active and entertaining. With the weather not being pristine (heavy downpour), we were unable to go to West Beach. Since we only had 2 out of the 3 experiences, our tour guide asked if we wanted to go to lunch and took us to a delicious restaurant. Highly recommended!

Great day in Roatan
Overall, we had a great day. The ATV ride was fun and through a scenic area. The your was on time, the bus was comfortable, and the animal park was amazing. I wish the ATV had limited the number of participants as many in our large group. The younger drivers were racing recklessly while several older participants were terrified and driving VERY slow. It would have been more enjoyable with a smaller group.

Perfect day trip in roatan!
I highly recommend this excursion because of the private driver and guarunteed spot on the beach! We came on a day with 5 cruises docked, which made west bay beach super crowded, and taxis extremely hard to get. We are so happy we booked with this resort! All of the hard part was done for us. Our guide Mickel was very friendly, and stuck around all day for when we were ready to leave. He also helped us get the best deal on a quick snorkeling trip from the beach. The resort keeps security guards at the entrance of their area on the beach to make sure everyone’s belongings are safe while snorkeling, which we really appreciated. The free WiFi was a nice perk as well. If I came back I would definitely book this again! We had a wonderful day.

Even those pressed for time will be impressed with Anchorage’s half-day tours. The city makes a fabulous home base for adventure in any direction: To the north, visitors can explore rivers and waterfalls; to the east, mountains and Alaska’s most well-known state park; to the south, wildlife sanctuaries and famous scenic overlooks; to the west, islands, whale-watching, and more. Half-day tours from Anchorage—be it by bus, car, boat, or kayak—are just enough time to sample the city’s greatest wonders, and they are indeed great.
