It was nice and enjoyable! I could definitely do it it again. Please bring good walking shoes, insect repellent and water.

We loved this excursion and would recommend it to all. The only confusing part was the meet up. We actually were walking to the address noted in our directions, when we were stopped and turned around. Everyone was so kind and helpful in finding our specific company/guide. (They tried to contact me, but I didn't have my internet working at the time - so my fault).
Julian and our driver, Edward, were great. Julian was super friendly and engaging from the very start. She customized the tour for our family of 7. We skipped the rum portion, since we don't drink. She even went out of her way to find a banana flavored soda for our son in law and gave us each a little Roatan currency. She made this tour so fun. We LOVED having her as our guide and learned so much from her. She was engaging and made us all feel comfortable, making sure we returned to our ship in plenty of time. We would highly recommend this tour.

From the beginning of our tour Christian (Chris) shared information about the island, culture and more. The animal sanctuary was amazing with the monkeys and sloth were so cute. Make sure to wear a walking shoe- you will be walking thru hillside terrain… but worth it! We did the rum and chocolate factories that provided more local history. Loved the stop at paradise beach where we had time to swim and have refreshments for an hour. Note: the souvenir shop in this resort area had the best deals!! Highly recommend Christian he made Roatan a place we will visit again!

Fausto our guide was such a gentleman and a delight to talk to. The chocolate factory was a great mid morning snack. The wildlife park was wonderful. We got to hold wild monkeys, kinkajous, and a few types of birds. The place went to for beach access was great. We had access to the pool, change rooms and bathrooms. There was never any rush. West End beach was beautiful. The place we were at had a bar and restaurant right on the beach, but there are many options up and down the beach.

I can only say that the experience was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Malcolm, was knowledgeable, flexible, and considerate. He drove us from the meeting point outside the terminal to the eco park and introduced us to the tour guide. He was waiting for us at the end of the tour and took us to the chocolate factory, explaining the history and sites of Roatan on the route along the way. Malcom answered questions and kept us informed at every point. Our group wanted to move on to the beach and Malcom took us to the club, showed us where to change clothes, get food, and where to sit. At the end, we arrived in plenty of time to the cruise terminal. We really enjoyed the stops on the tour. We especially liked the service provided by this tour operator and its guide, Malcom. We loved Roatan and would take the same cruise just to revisit this tour, among others. Thank you to Malcolm for the outstanding service!

We booked the Roatan Private Excursion (Monkey & Sloth, City Tour & Beach Break) and overall had a pretty good experience.
The animal encounter was definitely the highlight—getting up close with the monkeys and sloths was a really cool and memorable experience, especially if it’s your first time.
Our driver was friendly and easy to work with throughout the day. He was also very flexible and reasonable when we asked for suggestions on where to go or made additional stops, which made the tour feel more personalized and relaxed.
Overall, it was a decent excursion and a good way to see different parts of Roatan in one trip.

Highly recommend this tour with Sandris tours. It’s a bit hectic when you come outside the cruise terminal but if you ask any of the tour guides who you’re looking for they’re happy to help.
By going on this tour we got a great feel for Roatan. Our guide Tanisha was excellent and we learnt a lot about the island as she was driving us around. We went to the Eden Eco Park, chocolate factory, rum company and finally to West Bay Beach. Really enjoyable day.

we had a great tour guide, Fautso, he was very friendly and shared lots of information. He has great pride in his island and culture and was very nice to us during the whole tour....very patient and kind. Was always willing to go get the car and pick us up from the various stops and we enjoyed our time talking about the culture and football....LOL also great tip on having some of the local brew Salvavida! We saw wildlife, local chocolates, Rum and the beaches.....so much in so little time but didnt feel rushed.

This was a great tour! Lots of fun and different experiences. Great with my 11 and 12 year old daughters. Our guide Royce was outstanding and our driver Fanny was great. Highly recommend!

We had a great time and our guide was the best! She was very knowledgeable about the area and told us a lot about the history. She has lived there her entire life. She went above and beyond for us to make sure that we had a great experience. Would highly recommend this company and this excursion. One tip would be that if you are in a group, you need to book together at one time under one person's name. We had 6 people in our group, but because we booked individually to pay individually, we were split up into 3 tours. Even though we went to the same places, we were not always together at the same time. There were 2 of us per car. One group skipped part of the tour so that we could be at the beach at the end at the same time. But other than that, it was great!

This was such an awesome experience! Highly recommend Jilly (tour guide) and Eduardo (driver)! They were both amazing! We had a great time at each stop along the way and were given the flexibility to spend as much or as little time at each stop as we needed which was wonderful! Jilly is very knowledgeable about the island, its history and its inhabitants which gave us so much great information. Would definitely visit here again and would ñove for Jilly to show us around even more of the island!

The arrival directions once we disembarked from our cruise ship were very clear. We had an excellent experience with Elvis! It was a private tour, and he was very attentive and patient with my mom who walks with a cane. Not only is he a gentleman, he's also quite entertaining! Very upbeat and knowledgeable about the island and it's history! Elvis made it a very special day for my mom and I. I definitely recommend Elvis for a personalized tour of Roatan! Be aware that there is quite a bit of walking involved on unlevel surfaces.

We had a wonderful day with Jillian, our guide, and Eduardo, our driver.
Jillian was extremely knowledgeable about the island and its history, and she was very pleasant throughout the tour. Eduardo was an amazing driver — he is could easily rival some New York City cab drivers!
We were traveling with a mobility scooter, and both Jillian and Eduardo went above and beyond to accommodate us. Everything that was promised on the itinerary was accomplished, and the tour itself was absolutely worth it.
There is one issue to be aware of if you are docking from a Princess or Carnival ship. Because we were traveling with a mobility scooter and others who have difficulty walking long distances, we specifically asked about the walking distance. We were told it would be 3–5 minutes. While that was accurate to reach the taxi area, once there we were informed that we would need to either take another cab or walk up a very steep hill to reach the tour van.
We took a cab, as there was no way the scooter — or the rest of us — could manage the hill. In the end, it wasn’t a major problem, and the tour was well worth it. I just wish we had been told in advance that an additional taxi ride would be required.

Our driver Angie was so sweet and kind. She provided an umbrella as the weather was very wet. We didn’t make it to the beach by our choice as the weather wasn’t cooperating. Angie was willing to do things at our pace. The animal sanctuary is very small but still fun. The chocolate factory is really just a store with a sample but the ice cream bars for purchase were fantastic. The rum tasting had excellent cake.

Jerry was our travel guide and he was incredible! When we arrived in Roatan, it was a rainy day, and that meant the beach portion of our trip was canceled. We asked Jerry for a more authentic experience instead, and he was flexible, knowledgeable and kind. He showed us different parts of the city and we left feeling like we had the best day in Roatan.

Once off the cruise ship we made our way thru the “jungle” of people. That’s what our tour guide told us it’s called! It was quite overwhelming to experience this! Once thru we found the yellow shirts of Sandrias Tours! We followed our guide to get the car and off we went! We went to an animal park and seen sloths and monkeys. Next stop was for chocolate and rum! We ended at west bay beach for lunch! Our guide (wish I knew how to spell her name) was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the island. She was motherly to my boys and treated us as family! My youngest wasn’t feeling the best so she made sure we found some Tylenol for him as well! Highly recommend! We had a great time!

Don’t hesitate- just book. Very professional and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Booked a private tour for Christmas Day on 48 hours notice. Luis responded almost instantly and meeting directions were simple. Best part was our guide - Khriz. Took care of us, entertained us and made the day.
