Pay the extra!
Haseem was courtesy & called when he arrived a little early! Perfect transfer. As a solo traveler, I'm glad I paid for this pain-free pickup! Felt safe (though I communicated the info of the driver to my family just in case). Dragging my heavy bags to a bus stop in the rain would have been pain!

Blown away by Snaefellsnes... in more ways than one. :D
We took this tour on Monday, March 16th. This tour is a long day, but Martin our driver and guide made 10+ hours fly by. It's important to understand that the peninsula is windy all the time. So much so, that it can cancel tours. Apparently, the day before had a tour canceled because of high winds. Our tour was still quite windy, but it only got really bad toward the end when we were almost done. But, we were dressed for wind and cold, so that can make all the difference. We really enjoyed the stops. The peninsula really shows you a little bit of everything Iceland has to offer. And, the snow makes evrrything majestic. The home cooked lunch at the horse farm was delicious and my wife loved getting the chance to pet the horses. Overall a really great tour.

Interesting and mysterious.
Little tour bus pick up from BSI bus terminal, left at 9am and around 40 mins later we were at the lava tunnel. Toilet available and a little shop. Our tour started at 10 and our guide Francesca was excellent. She really made this an enjoyable and interesting experience. Definitely take sturdy shoes with good grip as can be slippy at points but otherwise a very easy walk through.

Highly recommend this private transfer to and from Keflavík!
Arranged a transfer for 4 of us to and from Keflavík airport. Couldn’t have gone smoother. The driver was there to meet us as soon as we cleared customs and we travelled in a comfortable minibus. We were at the hotel in no time and dropped right outside. (We stayed at the Storm Hotel which is 10 minutes walk to the centre where it’s all happening). Be aware that if you stay right in the centre it is pedestrianised and you may have to walk a little from your drop off. Picking up was again a smooth experience and Viator were brilliant, especially as we changed our pick up time twice! They were very responsive and reassuring. When we last came to Iceland we did the bus pick up which was very difficult and took ages. This private transfer wasn’t that much more expensive and so worth it. Highly recommend!
