What are people saying about Puglia

Absolute must-do
This was a wonderful experience! A real highlight of our trip! We did this class as a group of 6 which included my parents and two kids, ages 6 and 9. It was so much fun! The aperitivo at the beginning was jaw-dropping. Wine and drinks were flowing (and the wine was delicious!) When it came to pasta making, they were so patient with the kids, especially the 6 year old. Enza, her husband, her daughter, and a friend were all there to assist. My 6 year old got a lot of attention and they were able to show her how to shape the pasta herself rather than just take over. Both kids were so proud of what they produced. The meal was nothing short of delicious and included dessert. We ended up with a lot of wonderful photos (and even a video!) at the end. The company was fabulous. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

The highlight of the trip to Puglia!
The whole experience was amazing! Our teacher was so focused on making sure we were doing things correctly - exactly the kind of passion you want from a teacher! The whole setting was beautiful, the food was amazing and the burrata was the freshest I’ve ever had! One of the highlights of our trip to Puglia!

AMAZING and memorable experience, from start to finish!
This was an AMAZING and memorable experience, from start to finish. There was nothing more authentic than being able to put together an entire home cooked meal with Cesarina Lucrezia. Her and her partner were wonderful hosts...the best! The food was incredible and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it if you are in the Puglia area!

Best way to try Puglia wine without going to a winery
This was a fun tasting in the old town part of Lecce in a restaurant/wine bar. Our guide was the owner of the place and had very good knowledge of the wines that are made in Puglia. We tasted 4, a white, a rose, and the 2 reds. They were all great and the food pairings were good.

Informative and Fun Cheese Tour
As well as seeing the cows and petting the calves, it was interesting to see the milking parlour ans fridges before the display in the dairy and getting to hand mold some mozzarella.
It was informative, fun and the aperitivo was very good. There is a small shop there too with lovely local products including the cheese made on-site.

Great tour to Lecce with Nadia!
It was a great introduction to Lecce! Nadia was a wonderful guide and shared the perfect amount of history and architecture about the city. They were light snacks but filled us up, so something to keep in mind with timing / dinner plans. Would recommend to others wanting to explore the city!

Highly recommend this...
Highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting the region. You’ll learn a lot about their operations without being overwhelmed with information. The staff is very accommodating to all guests, and dedicated to keeping the traditions of masserias alive.

Walking tour of Bari old town with pasta experience
My husband and I went on a walking cultural tour of Bari visiting several piazzas and churches including the beautiful Cathedrale of San Nicola. Alessia was lovely and very knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the history of this beautiful city.
Afterwards we did a pasta experience with Anna and Mariella they were lovely. We made orichiette with Mariella, she was very patient with us. Then she served orichiette with tomato sugo and Primitivo wine to us. Delicious.

This was a great pasta...
This was a great pasta making experience. Silvia and Mariela were our tour guides and hosts and we had a great time. They taught us how it make tasty focaccia and orchiette and let us eat some of the creations. They were so nice to speak a little Italian with us and help us learn.

The trip exceeded my expectations
My experience on the catamaran was one of the highlights of my trip. The staff were attentive and informative. The boat was excellent condition and I felt well taken care of.
We had prosecco and fresh delicious snacks. The views were spectacular. The water was crystal clear and calm. The boat was set up for swimming if you wanted to do so.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Delicious wines in a charming setting
If you go here in the beginning of April, dress warmly! Host supplied blankets for all, but it was quite cold. Temperature aside, the host was engaging and entertaining. The vineyard is set in an idyllic area and the building is an absolutely charming trulli house. The wines were very good..along with the champagne. Snacks were provided between each tasting, and they were all made on site. The whole experience was a delight and the ride to get to the vineyard was beautiful through the countryside. I highly recommend this experience, but dress warmly!

An Unforgettable Coastal Experience with Claudio!
This boat tour was absolutely incredible! Our guide Claudio was outstanding – knowledgeable, professional, and engaging throughout the entire journey. Despite traveling from the United States (New Jersey), we couldn't have asked for a better experience exploring the stunning Polignano a Mare coastline.
What Made This Tour Special:
Expert Commentary: Claudio delivered fascinating historical and geological information about the area, from the famous Domenico Modugno statue and "Volare" connection to the Red Bull Cliff Diving Challenge platforms. His explanations about the limestone formations, seashell fossils, and tectonic processes were educational without being overwhelming.
Spectacular Cave Exploration: We visited multiple stunning caves including Grotta Palazzese (home to the famous restaurant), Bishop Cave, Grotta Ardito with its historic passage, and the massive Pigeons Cave. Each had unique features and stories.
Swimming Opportunity: The stop for swimming near Grotta Palazzese was a highlight – the water temperature was around 18-19°C (mid-60s°F), refreshing and totally worth it!
Perfect Pacing: The ~1.5 hour tour covered approximately 3.5 nautical miles of coastline without feeling rushed. Claudio balanced narration with time to simply enjoy the views.
Small Group Experience: Our boat (Marika) had a comfortable group size, allowing for personalized attention and easy interaction with our guide.
Bonus Details: Learning about local history like the trulli structures, the former butchery cave that once attracted blue sharks, and the illegal salt production caves added authentic cultural depth.
Pro Tips: Book early, bring a towel if you plan to swim, and don't worry about the November timing – the experience is magical year-round!
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Puglia. Worth every euro!
