What are people saying about Porto

You will learn a LOT about Port Wine on this tour!
At first, we didn't know what to make of our guide. He was very sure of himself. That said, as time went on, we actually did learn a few things from him and have a better appreciation of Port Wine than we did. We went to various Port Lodges and the experience was well-worth the money and time. The experience also included some charcuterie, which was nice.

Most Memorable Tour Yet!
It is truly a spectacular tour and well worth the cost. The views are spectacular, guides were so knowledgeable, patient, and in very good spirits. The wineries were absolutely lovely. I’ve taken more tours than I can remember, however this one, I will never forget

Book this tour!!
We had the best time on our tour! Sergio was informative and fun, and the estates were beautiful. Everything was so well coordinated, went off without a hitch, and allowed us to spend a relaxing day tasting port, wine, honey and olive oil in a gorgeous setting. Would highly recommend this tour!

Into to Port
Amazing experience Igor and our driver Tiago were a 10/10 this tour would not be as amazing without them. Just a couple of things to note this is a great experience if you want a light touch port experience. The cruise on the Douro is short but you get to see why this area is special. The port wine tours were great and provide a great intro into Port and you should definitely use the knowledge to visit other wineries or lodges in Porto.

One of the best food...
One of the best food tours Iwe have been on. Grenado our guide was very engaging, and knowledgeable about the food and wine as well as porto. The combo of food was well designed.as was the route. If you are coming to porto for the first time prepare for hills. This tour was mostly level but porto is very hilly.

Would recommend
We were worried when we couldn’t find the bus this morning but there was excellent communication regarding pick up. The driver Lucas was really good, he was also knowledgeable whilst driving us round. The guide Tiago was full of knowledge and facts not just about Porto but Portugal itself.
The first vineyard in Sabrosa was fabulous. Perfect setting with stunning photos. The lunch provided was tasty for the choice that they had. Small but varied choice. The tasting at this vineyard was very enjoyable! Plenty of wine available to try here!
The little coffee shop before this was the best pasta del nata we have ever had!
The boat ride following this was disappointing due to unforeseen circumstances.
The last stop - second vineyard felt rushed and the walk uphill to the vineyard was very long, especially in the heat! The wine expert who did our tasting here did speak too fast which made it difficult to follow and understand.
On the whole, we would highly recommend this tour and when we return to Porto we will be going again!

Great Douro Valley tour with a fun guide and driver!
We traveled to the Douro Valley with our driver Ana Sousa, who got us there and back safely through the narrow roads, and our guide Pedro Costa, who amused us (and himself) with loads of anecdotes about the phallic-shaped Bolos de São Gonçalo pastries from Amarante! You will understand once you see them. 10 hour tour in an air conditioned large van with nice sights, wine tasting and lunch. Would recommend to anyone.

A tasty introduction to Porto
Excellent food tasting tour of Porto. Our small group of 9 from the UK and USA were introduced to the food of Porto and what makes it such an awesome city to visit.
We first went to a small local restaurant for green bean soup, bifana, and some cod croquettes. Accompanied by a glass of vinho verde. Delicious.
Then we went for a Ginja - cherry liquor served in a chocolate cup. Purchased a few souvenirs in there.
Next was Pastel de Nata and espresso in a coffee shop. You have to have a pastel de Nata when you visit Porto. So tasty.
After that we visited a locally run shop serving wines, ports, spices, cheese and meats. Here we had a charcuterie board with meats, sardines, goats cheese, cheese, olives, bread, crackers, figs stuffed with walnuts, crackers. Wow. The sardines were so tasty we bought a few tins. Last stop was another locally run shop for port and dark chocolate.
A brilliant way to spend 3 hours in Porto.
A huge thank you to Helena our guide.
Informative, interesting and always engaging with us guests. THANK YOU !!
Gordon & Tammy from Leeds.

Excellent tour- food-wine excellent company.
Your was lead by Frlipe who is a proud Porto. His history knowledge is faultless and he fills the evening with facts about the surroundings of Porto.
Plenty of food and wine finishing with a Port tasting.
Excellent value for money.
We had over 5 hours on this tour but it did not feel that long. Felipe was an excellent 5 * host.

Fantastic Food & Drink Tour with Ribs in Porto!
Here’s a review you can post:
Fantastic Food & Drink Tour with Ribs in Porto!
We had an amazing time on our Porto food and drink tour with Ribs. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and clearly passionate about his hometown. Not only did he explain the food and drinks in great detail, but he also shared fascinating stories about Porto’s history and culture. His pride in being a native of Porto really shined through and made the experience even more special.
There was plenty of delicious food and generous drinks throughout the tour, and everything felt authentic and well thought out. One of the highlights was meeting and chatting with the wonderful people in our group—we had great conversations and lots of laughs together.
If you’re looking for a fun, informative, and delicious way to experience Porto, we highly recommend a tour with Ribs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A great way to learn about Porto
What a wonderful 3 1/2 hours spent learning about Porto and the best food options... and not just the touristy ones! The ones the locals love! Joao was wonderful. On time, easy to talk with and will customize the tour based on your likes and/or food aversions. We had none, so we ate it all! Yum! Highly recommend.

Terrific lunch in Porto
Wonderful from start to finish. Was an interactive experience with terrific hosts. Started in the market obtaining ingredients for the meal as well as a great history lesson regarding food and the culture. The meal was a traditional dish with salted cod in addition to two different types of sausage and a super dessert. The wine was delicious. Our hosts were very friendly and professional. Recommend this experience for folks of all ages and backgrounds.
