Great experience. Very comfortable bus with air con. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. You have an hour for lunch in Pompeii. They are lots of options to eat before you enter the site. Restaurants and cafes. In Herculeaneum, the only options to buy food or drinks are from the machines.

Unmissable Pompeii
Alessandra was an excellent guide, so knowledgeable and also used humour and relatable examples to bring Pompeii to life. We also enjoyed seeing the current live excavation, especially the frescoes that were so much more vibrant than expected. Bring water and a hat, it gets hot! Highly recommend.

Outstanding Trip!!!!
The Amalfi Coast boat excursion was perhaps the highlight of our 15 day Italy vacation. The beauty of the coast simply cannot be expressed in words or even pictures. Around every corner was a breathtaking vista of impossibly perched homes, hotels, medieval structures, arched stone bridges and stunning mountains. On top of that, our boat captain Kasper was as informed as an Amalfi coast native would be. He was humorous with a quick laugh and bent over backwards to meet our every need. He’s not the type of guide that feels that his job requires constant chatter, but rather an understanding that often the views speak for themselves. When questions were asked, he had an informed answer. When structures needed highlighting, he did so. His new boat was impeccably clean, the supplied drinks and snacks well appreciated, and the provided “baby dingy” for our infant granddaughter a thoughtful touch. We highly recommend! Ask for Kasper. You will not be disappointed.

We went with a group of friends and our two kids, 10 & 7. My older daughter was interested in a lot of it but my 7 year old did not enjoy it. 3 hours in the June sun was rough to keep the whole group going. Very informative, interesting and one of a kind tour of you’re really into history! I’d recommend it for family and friends, but it’s a lot to get through with kids.

Pompeii is the crown jewel of Italy’s archaeological treasure trove, but this ancient site is sprawling and offers little posted information explaining its jumble of ruins. Pompeii tours bring the history of the Roman city to life with archaeologist guides who provide insights about its excavated art and architecture, focusing on the highlights to cover the site in just a few hours. Pair Pompeii with a guided visit to nearby Herculaneum, a wine-tasting lunch in the surrounding vineyards, a hike to the volcanic crater atop Mt. Vesuvius, or a scenic excursion along the Amalfi Coast for an unforgettable day trip.
