Our tour guide was outstanding. I think his name was Chris. He was tall and blonde with a great sense of humor. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Denmark. He should’ve been a history teacher or professor. He would make it fun to learn more. It was nice to be on a clean and new bus too. Very impressed with tour.

Kat was our bike tour guide during our 3 hour bike ride in Oslo. Kat provided excellent instruction and was watchful over our group of 12 riders. Kat was very friendly and knowledgeable about Oslo’s history which she shared throughout our bike ride. We made several stops during the ride with enough time to take photos and learn about the areas of Oslo.

Super relaxing evening cruise

We had a very pleasant evening cruise. The bar service was great, and the food was excellent. It included a carrot appetizer, a salmon dinner with a butter and celery puree (very rich), and almond cake for dessert. The piano player provided great ambiance and the ship was super quiet. It felt like we were gliding across the fjord! Scenery is beautiful.

A Worthwhile Effort!

What a great trek. Andreas is an absolute delight. Knowledge, funny, and a professional cook he has found a way to leverage all his skills and joys. Even though one of our group had a sore knee, he adjusted the pace to accommodate. There are great views of the city and a nice stop by a lake to have a fresh made snack. Be advised that the trail does require the ability to walk on rocks. Overall, the tour goes downhill so don’t worry about having to trek back to the original start point. You end at a metro rail station that will get you back to Oslo Central Station quite easily. Absolutely worth the time. In fact, if you do this early in your stay, Andreas has lots of recommendations on other things to see and do that are both interesting and will not stress your wallet (too much)’

Wonderful tour in Oslo

We had a wonderful tour in Oslo, and our guide made the city feel so welcoming, interesting, and full of character. From the very beginning at the famous Tiger Statue, the tour was filled with fascinating stories, beautiful sights, and so many little details that made Oslo come alive for us. We loved learning why Oslo is called “Tiger City” while standing beside the adorable tiger sculpture at Jernbanetorget — such a fun and memorable start to the day! Seeing the stunning Oslo Opera House from the waterfront was another highlight. Its modern design against the harbor looked absolutely breathtaking. Walking through the historic streets around Rådhusgata gave us a wonderful sense of old Oslo, while the stories about Akershus Fortress and the city’s history made everything feel much more meaningful. Oslo City Hall was especially impressive, knowing it hosts the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony each year added something truly special to the visit. We also really enjoyed strolling along Karl Johans gate, soaking in the lively atmosphere, elegant buildings, cafés, and beautiful views leading toward the Royal Palace. Ending the tour in front of the palace felt like the perfect finish to such a lovely day. Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The pace was perfect, the explanations were interesting without ever feeling overwhelming, and we appreciated all the thoughtful local insights along the way. Thank you for helping us discover the beauty and charm of Oslo. This tour gave us wonderful memories and made us appreciate Norway even more

Absolutely Perfect Tour

Our tour guide was Janis, and he was absolutely incredible! This tour was unbelievably beautiful! We could not recommend it more! The ferry was one of the most beautiful sights we have ever seen, and the train rides and car were so much fun! Despite it being a long day, it was not exhausting at all and it was truly great!

A Relaxing Cruise

We walked about 20 minutes along waterfront to meeting point from where our Viking cruise ship was docked. It was a beautiful sunny day. The crew was vety nice and you could purchase a variety of beverages and food items on board. Bathrooms were nice and clean. A very relaxing way to spend 2 hours on the Oslo Fjords.

When visiting anywhere,...

When visiting anywhere, taking a day tour with a guide can be a lot of fun. On this trip, Elena did a very good job in explaining things and telling the history and stories (from memory) and made the group event worthwhile. I enjoyed the Fram and Kon-tiki museum towards the end, as daylight hours are becoming shorter in November. The bus was operated safely and climate controlled for passenger comfort. Thank you for a great day when discovering Oslo!

“Pace yourself” - it REALLY is a food tour

Saw the pictures of the waffles and decided to book the tour. Arrived early at the meeting spot to see the tour guide was there. They made introductions and we were quick to set off. The food was all local with a story behind the origin of each spot. They also gave us some of the history behind Oslo as we moved between spots. It was easy to make conversation with the guides themselves. Every place I’d recommend to family and friends to eat. They wouldn’t be something I’d pick out for myself and my partner to go for lunch or dinner. We definitely feel like we’ve got our moneys worth.
