Explore two or three beautiful islands (depending on the season) scattered throughout Oslo’s fjords on a small-group island-hopping tour on foot and by ferry. Visit local villages, sea cliffs, historic sites, forests, and hidden beaches. Be sure to bring a swimsuit and towel to enjoy an invigorating dip in the Oslo Fjord. Stop for a scenic picnic in summer (bring your own), or hot drinks in winter.

Was a very fun guide. She had a great personality and was super knowledgeable. The island tour gave us great insight into Norwegian island living. Found the island hopping beautiful. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who likes the outdoors!

Oslo tour on the public ferry with a guide. Alicia was super knowledgeable and really made the tour go. As a guide she added to the whole experience. As seasoned traveler who has travelled on a budget I want to keep it real. If you don’t need the info and background knowledge and just want to see the islands of the Oslo fjord you’re better off just buying a ferry day pass and island hopping yourself and saving the money. The guide makes the tour but you don’t need the tour to experience any of this. You don’t need to be a seasoned traveler either anyone could do it on their own.

This was a great way to see some of the islands around Oslo and enjoy the beauty outside the city. John was an excellent guide…very knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to answer all of the many many questions that we asked! A great combination of history, nature, and recreation. Highly recommend!

I’m not happy with Viator. We booked excursion. The activities were not correct, meet time not correct, it was a mess. The guide did good but I contacted the provider. They said I should get 20% discount but need to do thru Viator and I can’t get anywhere on line. Very frustrated with customer service. Viator was always good. Not so much this time

It was a lot more strenuous than the tour implied and that i was told. We are older and were with an older man. My friend had to stop.
I also wished we were given time to take pictures because some of the homes, gardens and flowers were beautiful.

It was so wonderful to walk several islands with our new friends from the Netherlands, Ireland and Wisconsin. Megan knew so much about Oslo and Norway and made the adventure incredibly educational in a fun way. The cabins are so cute and the views of the city and the islands are enchanting. Talk!

It was a great nature walk, learning the history of the islands around Oslo. Although I booked the tour because the description says that one of the islands we are going to visit is Hovedøya, we went to Bleikoya instead. Overall, it is still good.

This was an exceptional tour with an exceptional tour guide. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable regarding the two islands we visited . The only negative review we are leaving on this tour was Aviator personnel did not notify us of a change of departure time and that the two islands we were suppose to visit was also changed ! We arrived almost 1 1/2 hour early than needed as they combined our tour with another without notifying us and then to find out it wasn’t going to include the two islands we signed up for. Very disappointed in how this was handled!

The islands we visited were beautiful and it was lovely to get out into nature. Our guide, John, was very interesting and informative and told us a lot about the flora and aspects of the Norwegian culture. He really took care of us. I really enjoyed it.

This was an outstanding experience. Niv was an excellent tour guide, and it was an absolute pleasure getting to know a Norwegian a little. Easy walk with a little elevation. You can get away with running shoes very easily, but trail runners are preferable.

What a simple trip! Get public ferry passes and visit two local islands. You could do this on your own. So why pay for this tour?
What makes this different is the exceptional are the guides that Curtis hires: Luka and Leonardo! What a team as they explained Norwegian cultural and geographical matters with ease. Worth every krona!

This is a very interesting tour by public ferry from Oslo. The tour guide Austra was very knowledgeable and engaging and made the tour very interesting. We went to two islands and walked around and learned about their origins and other interesting facts. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
