What a wonderful experience. The boat was quiet and on time. The crew were wonderfully helpful. But the sights of the Fjords were truly wonderful! Excellent value for money.

Relaxing cruise of Oslo and the fjord it is in. The electric boat makes for a peaceful cruise. The narration is informative but not intrusive at all. Overall, it was a highly enjoyable activity to gain a better understanding of what Oslo has to offer.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you so much for your wonderful review.
We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere on board our electric boat and found the commentary informative without being overwhelming. It's great to know the cruise helped you discover more of Oslo and its beautiful fjord.
Thank you for choosing to sail with us. We hope to welcome you on board again the next time you're in Oslo!

Pleasant and leisurely tour of the fjords of Oslo. The boat was comfortable and the scenery good. Was a bit cold and windy on the outer decks, but more than comfortable inside.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thanks for a great review :)

Start point of siteseeing cruise was hard to find from cruise ship and we finally found it but arrived 5 minutes after it left!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for your feedback.
We're sorry to hear that finding the departure point was difficult. We understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive just after departure, especially after making the effort to find the pier from your cruise ship.
Our departure location is listed in the booking confirmation and on the ticket, but feedback like yours helps us understand where we can improve our directions and signage for future guests arriving from the cruise terminal.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and will review how we communicate the meeting point to make it easier to locate.
Kind regards,
Trollcruise

The boat was very clean and the staff was very nice. Unfortunately, the PA system was not functioning and the commentary failed to download onto our IPhones. Also, the location of departure was difficult to find as there is no kiosk or employee to direct you.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for the feedback. Great to hear the boat was clean and the staff took good care of you. Apologies for the issues with the PA system and audio download, as well as the unclear departure location. This is valuable feedback and something we will work on improving.
Rick_G, May 2026
The operators were very up front with the reason for cancellation. All employees were easy to discuss options.
Response from Host, May 2026
Hi,
Thank you for your understanding, and for taking the time to leave a review despite the cancellation.
We truly appreciate your kind words about our team – it means a lot. While it’s never ideal to cancel, it’s good to hear that the situation was handled clearly and respectfully on site.
You are very welcome back on board another time.

Lovely trip on the Fjord, so peaceful and quiet. Was good to see Oslo from the water. Fully recommend this trip.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thanks so much for a great review :)
christopher_w, Apr 2026
Very smooth quiet trip, gone are the noisy boat noises, although bit of confusion at first as the boat we were originally going on got cancelled so swapped to another boat, some info would have been helpful to save us rushing around to try and find someone, but all good in the end
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Great review - We ll make a note of the departure point.
Jeffrey_E, Apr 2026
This was an eventful ride on a nice boat. There is really nothing to see and it is two hours on a slow boat to no where.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Hi Jeffrey.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We understand that experiences can be perceived differently, and not every tour will match everyone’s expectations. That said, we’re sorry to hear that this one didn’t resonate with you.
For many of our guests, the Oslofjord offers a calm and scenic experience, with a constantly changing landscape of islands, inlets, cottages, lighthouses, and everyday life along the shoreline. The route is designed as a loop, so while you return to your starting point, the journey itself passes through a variety of different surroundings along the way.
We truly appreciate you joining us, and also your honest input.

Tracey_W, Mar 2026
If the weather is good , it is a great experience, if you are only there for a few days and the weather is poor with no visibility, the trip will still go ahead . The cruise people did offer us to go back the next day as unfortunately we don’t see a thing
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for sharing your experience. Weather in Oslo can change quickly, especially in winter, and visibility sometimes has its own plans. Glad the crew could offer you the option to return the next day. Hopefully the fjord will show its best side on your next visit – it truly can be spectacular when the sky opens up.
Daniel_F, Feb 2026
They could do a better job of explaining how to connect with the audio tour. Just putting some flyers on a table and assuming you will know what to do does not cut it! We went in February and the boat was fairly empty. In the summer…,,oh boy… Total looniness as you have to go from one side of the boat to the other to see things along the route. You might want to spend a bit more for a smaller private tour boat.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you for the candid feedback. Point taken on the audio guide – clearer instructions should never be left to chance, and that’s something that needs tightening up. February calm and summer crowds are two very different beasts, and expectations matter. Appreciate the honesty, even if the verdict was a firm one.
Andrea_T, Feb 2026
Very well organized and easy to book. The sightseeing was very nice. Slow at times but totally worth it. A great way to see Oslo from a different point of view and you learn some interesting facts through the narration.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you for the kind words. Great to hear booking and organisation worked smoothly, and that the slower pace was seen as part of the charm rather than a flaw. The fjord is best taken unhurried, with a few good stories along the way. Glad it gave a fresh perspective on Oslo.
Paula_H, Feb 2026
It was a wonderful experience would highly recommend.
There are drinks and snacks served on board. Staff very helpful.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you for the recommendation. Lovely to hear you had a wonderful experience and felt well taken care of on board. Helpful crew, a warm drink, and the fjord doing its thing – hard to argue with that combination.
Lorraine_M, Feb 2026
It's a good way to get out on the water and see some of oslos sites.
The boat is modern and clean. The narrative is sometimes too quiet to hear.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thanks for the feedback. Good to hear the boat itself and the route worked well. Noted comment about the narration being too quiet – that’s an important point and something that should be better. Appreciate you taking the time to share.
Richard_F, Jan 2026
Bring a jacket and gloves of travelling in January as it's bitterly cold in Oslo and the sea adds wind chill to this cold feeling.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you for sharing your tip – and you are absolutely right.
January in Oslo can be properly cold, and out on the fjord the wind chill definitely reminds you that this is real winter, not just postcard winter. A warm jacket and gloves are always a smart choice this time of year.
For anyone reading, our boats are heated inside with large panoramic windows and plenty of seating, so guests can stay warm and still enjoy the views comfortably between trips out on deck for fresh air and photos.
We hope you enjoyed the cruise and the crisp winter scenery – the fjord has a special kind of magic in winter. Thanks for sailing with us through Viator.
John_K, Jan 2026
Very nice short scenic cruise, clean, on time and very safe tour. We loved the stop off at the end near the Fram and maritime museums. This allowed us to avoid a backtrack which is where we wanted to go next! Complete convenient surprise!
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you for the kind words! Great to hear you enjoyed the cruise and that everything felt safe, smooth, and well run — that’s exactly how it should be. The stop near the Fram and maritime museums is one of those small details that often turns into a pleasant surprise, so it’s nice to know it worked perfectly for your plans. Thanks for sailing with us, and welcome back anytime.
Tom_M, Dec 2025
The sightseeing tour was really good. Comprehensive & good tour guide through the intercom. Drinks are available (to buy) & also blankets (which were free). It can get cold so wrap up warm
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thanks for a great review!

Me and my wife enjoyed this 2 hour boat ride. Great scenery!! Great opportunity to just enjoy piece and fantastic views. Very pieceful and relaxing. Great for the last day in Oslo!! I just wish they had some refreshments like coffee etc. But it's all good!!
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thank you for the kind words – wonderful to hear you enjoyed a peaceful cruise on the fjord and that it was a relaxing way to end your stay in Oslo. Coffee and light refreshments are indeed something we’re looking into offering on board for this specific tour. Appreciate the suggestion – and the lovely feedback!
Mark_N, Feb 2025
It provides a map showing the route. For me it was perfect as I wanted to get close to two lighthouses (Heggholmen and Dyna Fyr) which it passed very closely. It takes you close to the opera house and you can get off at the Fram museum if you wanted.
Response from Host, Feb 2025
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that our route was a perfect fit for your sightseeing plans. The Oslofjord’s lighthouses, especially Heggholmen and Dyna Fyr, are truly special landmarks, and we’re glad you enjoyed getting up close to them. The views of the Opera House and the option to hop off at the Fram Museum make this a great way to explore Oslo from the water.
We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope to welcome you aboard again soon for another scenic adventure! 🚢✨

Great boat, really smooth. It was a windy snowy day. Will come again in the summer. I'm sure it will look like a completely different landscape.

The excursion was nice . Beautiful scenery and the history was very interesting. I just wish Viator would set it up where we could get picked up at the cruise ship. There were a lot of people from our ship on this excursion. It would be a lot easier .
Response from Host, Sep 2024
Hello Peter, thank you so much for your positive feedback. There is note in the activity description that meeting point/departure point of our boat is at Rådhusbrygge 4/City Hall pier nr. 4 which means that we do not provide pick up from hotel or at any cruise ship.
Linda_G, Aug 2024
We really enjoyed the tour on a beautiful day. Just wish some of the local attractions, such as the opera house, could have been pointed out for those new to Oslo.
Response from Host, Aug 2024
Hello Linda, thank you so much for your positive feedback. We are happe to hear that you enjoy the tour.
Pat_M, Aug 2024
We loved it! The commentary and sights were great! We had to change our tour timing at the last minute. The tour operator was on it immediately. 5 minutes top, we were rescheduled.
Response from Host, Aug 2024
Dear Pat, thank you for your lovely review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour.
Andrew_B, Aug 2024
Excellent trip - I downloaded the app and it plays when you approach each landmark. I’d read to do this although it wasn’t advertised on the boat. Loved it!
Response from Host, Aug 2024
Hello Andrew, thank you so much for your positive feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour. Information about the audioguide app is communicated in the activity description :).
