The ferry was very comfortable and the journey was truly enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more pleasant. The scenery throughout the Oslo Fjord was absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful views at every turn. A wonderful way to explore the area and enjoy Norway’s stunning nature. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a wonderful experience. The boat was quiet and on time. The crew were wonderfully helpful. But the sights of the Fjords were truly wonderful! Excellent value for money.

Oslo fjord sight seeing cruise

We booked the oslo fjord sightseeing experience which stated it went to Bygdøy. We wanted to go to the museums there unfortunately the boat didn't go to Bygdøy at all. I emailed viator and they refunded me 50% of my trip. Just in case you think yr going to Bygdøy, you don't. Lovely trip though apart from that

There was very little...

There was very little signage. No distinction between the ferry boat and tour boat that are located directly next to each other. When I arrived for the tour I was ushered on to the ferry boat and no tickets were asked to be shown. I thought this was weird but was unable to get off the boat before we departed. I immediately messaged the organizer through the viator app and still have heard nothing from them. I am extremely disappointed to have missed this tour as I was really looking forward to it.

Our boat is clearly marked SIGHTSEEING, while the neighbouring public ferries display route numbers and destinations. We also had signs and staff at the departure point, and all 97 other guests joined the tour that day. Our phone was staffed, but Viator support was unavailable on Sunday, so your message was not forwarded to us in time.

Fjord is lovely ; cruise ships can be improved

The cruise is silent. for the most part. The front of the ship or the back is the only place you can see the sights. Inside, if you sit on one side, you miss the other. Outside, the seating is not the greatest. If you are near the door, the constant opening and closing noise gets irritating. signage to the place is not great and needs improvement

The boat was very clean and the staff was very nice. Unfortunately, the PA system was not functioning and the commentary failed to download onto our IPhones. Also, the location of departure was difficult to find as there is no kiosk or employee to direct you.

Very smooth quiet trip, gone are the noisy boat noises, although bit of confusion at first as the boat we were originally going on got cancelled so swapped to another boat, some info would have been helpful to save us rushing around to try and find someone, but all good in the end

The route is designed as a loop, so while you return to your starting point, the journey itself passes through a variety of different surroundings along the way. If the weather is good , it is a great experience, if you are only there for a few days and the weather is poor with no visibility, the trip will still go ahead . The cruise people did offer us to go back the next day as unfortunately we don’t see a thing

Nice Enough ….but

They could do a better job of explaining how to connect with the audio tour. Just putting some flyers on a table and assuming you will know what to do does not cut it! We went in February and the boat was fairly empty. In the summer…,,oh boy… Total looniness as you have to go from one side of the boat to the other to see things along the route. You might want to spend a bit more for a smaller private tour boat.

If you are visiting Oslo for a short time, a trip around the fjords with bits of history thrown in is definitely a must.

It's a good way to get out on the water and see some of oslos sites. The boat is modern and clean. The narrative is sometimes too quiet to hear.

January in Oslo can be properly cold, and out on the fjord the wind chill definitely reminds you that this is real winter, not just postcard winter. A warm jacket and gloves are always a smart choice this time of year. For anyone reading, our boats are heated inside with large panoramic windows and plenty of seating, so guests can stay warm and still enjoy the views comfortably between trips out on deck for fresh air and photos. Very nice short scenic cruise, clean, on time and very safe tour. We loved the stop off at the end near the Fram and maritime museums. This allowed us to avoid a backtrack which is where we wanted to go next! Complete convenient surprise!
