Hi Hi, What a fun activity. The Oslo Fjord is beautiful and I loved the boat. Be sure and have a hot chocolate from the bar and get a seat up front with a blanket! The ship reminded me of a pirate ship.
You will thoroughly love this tour!

Everything was fantastic. More than expected and brilliant host, blankets for warmth. Very informative and fun with a humorous twist. Brilliant.

I did this tour in the middle of February. The winter scenery was beautiful and breathtaking. Yes, it was cold, but there were plenty of blankets and heaters on the lower deck.

The experience was a great one, I enjoyed every bit of it. Shoutout to Mentor a great tour guide he was.

Excellent and friendly staff, lovely hot chocolate, wonderful trip round the islands even on an overcast day

The cruise itself was informative and we saw sights that the normal traveler might not see. The 2-hour time was perfect.
However, while the old-style ship was interesting (we sat on top aft ship) we found the upkeep to be somewhat lacking. Chairs were broken and felt unsafe and there trash (cigarette butts, paper) strewn about the deck.

It was a wonderful experience. Very informative. We had a very nice time. Loved that they had blankets for us.

Great experience to see sites outside of the Oslo City Center. Everyone should experience this leisurely boat ride.

I had the chance to take the Oslo fjord sailing ship tour yesterday, and despite the damp and rainy weather, it was a wonderful experience. The crew made sure everyone was comfortable with plenty of covered seating and even provided cozy blankets to keep us warm.
One of the highlights was enjoying a delicious cup of coffee with Baileys as we sailed past the beautiful scenery. The narration along the way was informative and engaging — I really appreciated learning about the different sites as we passed them, which made the experience both relaxing and educational. The atmosphere was made even more special with music played sporadically throughout the trip, adding a lovely touch to the journey…an interluden if you will.
Even in less-than-perfect weather, the fjord was stunning, and being on a traditional-style sailing ship made it feel especially memorable. While the Ship did have masks and sales, we were under motor power the entire voyage. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oslo — it’s a fantastic way to see the city from a different perspective.

Very informative. Peaceful and very enjoyable. They even had blankets out if you were chilly. Very friendly staff.

Wonderful tour! Loved seeing the colorful cabins on the islands near Oslo. We loved learning about the history of Oslo.

The boat left from a very convenient area for my cruise ship. It wasn’t too far of a walk. The people on the boat were very nice information with nice sites.

Pay attention to seating options, especially if weather is an issue. Lower level seats have heating as others do not.
Jacqueline_C, Sep 2025
Even though it was a bit rainy at first we had a great experience. They have covered areas to sit and blankets to stay warm if needed. We enjoyed this experience very much. Saw a whole other side of Oslo

Our tour was at 3:30 but free ferry ticket was of no use at that point. Not clear that we needed to come at start of day to use it. Boat was crowded, tour talk was a tape recording that was hard to hear. Crew was
Friendly. Hot chocolate and blankets made a nice touch.

It was pleasant enough but not fantastic. I liked the English guide and many of the facts were so interesting but there’s just so much time taken leaving the harbor. I know it can’t be helped but I guess I was clueless as to what to expect.
Kathy_H, Aug 2025
Quite boring really. Very little commentary. With the benefit of hindsight id have remained in Oslo to continue exploring on foot. Apart from being on water I gained nothing from this trip.
Luisa_S, Aug 2025
It was a cute experience! Some narration but not much. Definitely got really cold on the way back (they provided blankets) but be sure to bring layers.
Judith_P, Aug 2025
Beautiful scenic cruise! Quiet ride, good guide and nice facilities. It was fun to see the harbor and surrounding bay and hear the guide along the way.

Highlight of a sparkling day in Oslo. The ride was calm; the views impressive; the narration informative, and inspiring
on places to go in Oslo (museums, hikes, beaches, restaurants). Great trip!
Tammy_H, Aug 2025
It's windy, so take a jacket. Lovely views and nice staff. The narration was nice to have to understand historical stuff

This is a nice way to explore the city and try some tasty foods.
Our guides were knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.

A great way to see Oslo from the water and learn some of the history of the city, staff are friendly and it’s a relaxing way to spend a few hours
Amy_D, Jul 2025
Nice way to see Oslo by water. Well taken care of ship with character. Lots of seating. We were there on a cruise and had spare time so easily for into our schedule. Walkable from the other cruise terminal.
Helen_O, Jul 2025
A relaxing way to see Oslo city & the Fjord. Friendly staff & enough information with out being too intrusive. Lovely ship.
Debbie_M, Jul 2025
Beautiful coastline. Grateful to experience the old ship. Interesting commentary with friendly crew.
Ingrid_R, Jul 2025
It is nice and relaxing with some sites. Two hours of not much to really see but if it's a warm sunny day a nice way to be on the water.
Joel_H, Jun 2025
Relaxing and informative! Beautiful ship, nice bar, friendly staff & crew. The narration was good, a bit difficult to hear at times, but learned much about the sights we were sailing by!

The Fjord cruise was so fun and relaxing! It was 2 hours which was perfect to get a highlight of the islands! We had the option to purchase cocktails and were given blankets for the chilly morning cruise!
Eve_P, May 2025
Despite the rain, the ship was covered and heated, and provided blankets. Lovely tour of the Oslo-area fjords, with a recorded tour in English for commentary. Highly recommend.
