Bike tours depart from Nedre Slottsgate 4J, in the heart of downtown Oslo. Located between the main shopping street of Karl Johans Gate and the old fortress Akershus Festning, the shop is 5-10 minutes on foot from the central train station, the city hall, and most major hotels.

Greet your guide at a central Oslo location and listen to a short safety briefing before climbing onto your state-of-the-art bicycle. Cruise past Oslo’s beautiful National Theatre and the grand parliament building of Karl Johan’s gate, and then weave your way down ancient alleyways to Aker Brygge, an old shipyard that affords visitors wonderful views of the harbor.
Travel onward at a leisurely pace through neoclassical neighborhoods replete with 18th-century houses adorned with vibrantly painted facades. Stop for a refreshing drink at Akershus Castle (own expense), a magnificent Renaissance fortress, and then glide past the Royal Palace to absorb the imperial majesty of the Norwegian royal family’s regal residence.
Capture photographs of iconic venue, Oslo City Hall, the place in which the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony is held, and then enjoy some leisurely free time to explore the verdant expanse of Frognerparken, an open-air exhibition of bronze and granite sculptures by acclaimed Norwegian sculptor, Gustav Vigeland.
After three hours of exploration, return to your original departure point and bid your guide farewell.

The Oslo bike tour is a great way to see the highlights of the city and is very friendly for bikers. Our guide, Becca, was five stars and loved sharing the past and present history of Norway. I highly recommend this tour. It's also a great way to get rid of sea legs if you've been on a cruise ship.

Greg guide Curtis who is actually the owner. He has a wonderful personality and really knows what he is doing. Bikes are good. Went longer than planned which was great. Saw a lot and learned a lot.
This was a pedal bike - not e-bike - tour. Almost entirely flat and very easy, so having to pedal was a non-issue. Should be reassuring to everyone. Our guide Leo was informative and entertaining. A great way to get oriented in the city and see some of the highlights.
Highly recommend!! This is an amazing way to see so many different parts of Oslo in 3 hours. We only had a few days to spend here and this bike tour made seeing a lot of the city very easy and we learned so much more than we could have just on our own! Curtis (owner and operator) was our tour guide and he was fabulous! He made the entire experience so fun and was so knowledgeable. Thank you to Curtis and everyone at Viking Biking for making this experience so special and one we will never forget.
Oslo is a beautiful city with many architectural marvels. The sculptures at Vigland park were amazing.
Amazing tour, Erwin’s anecdotes about Oslo is every educational and fun, this is good for all ages, it was a very good morning biking around Oslo
A great bike tour with a really fun, knowledgeable guide, Erwin! A safe, beautiful tour of Oslo! A young family was on the tour. Their 5 year old biked the city with no issue. The bikes and gear are nice. Highly recommend this tour for a great overview of the city. Thanks Erwin!! 😊
The biking is very easy. Lots of stops. It’s a great way to get to the park although I wish we had more time there.
Fun tour and you obviously cover a lot of ground on bikes. King Harald V passed away on the day of our tour so there were more crowds than usual on part of the tour. Our guide respectfully adjusted our route. Oslo is such a bike friendly city and riding through the various neighborhoods was a great experience. Our tour guide shared so much knowledge about the city and country.
Francis was a fun guide and gave us a great experience while also making sure to keep everyone safe.
Josh was exceptional. His charm and personality was welcoming but as the tour began it became quickly evident that he would be articulate and informative. Awesome easy bike ride, doing as the local do to see and stop and visit several 'must see locations

This is a great way to get an overview of the city. We were able to stop at the palace and a sculpture park and others spots. You get around a lot faster on bikes and get to see more and then we went back to the areas we want to explore further.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us some fun facts and historical information. It was a little cool and wet, but that didn’t bother us.

We signed up for this bike tour of Oslo so that we could see more of the city than by traveling on foot. The tour did exactly that, with frequent stops and a very manageable cycling pace. Annabelle, our guide, was engaging, patient and informative. We stopped at various locations around the city centre and she told us stories and facts about each area. She was also flexible about the time spent at each place. After the tour, Annabelle showed us various places to eat, see or things to do for the remainder of our trip. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to cover more ground than sightseeing on foot.

Eh, just fine. Not bad, not great either. Route wasn’t great for bikes, lots of walking bikes or weaving through pedestrians. Guide was very friendly but didn’t seem to know all that much about Oslo. Likely would have been easier/better to rent just the bike and have Gemini build us a self guided bike tour.
This is a wonderful, efficient way to see Oslo when you have limited time, rr when you really just want a taste of some highlights without lingering too long on any one of them. Leo, our terrific guide, was knowledgeable, warm and funny. The bikes were in good shape and the riding was easy. Took two 12 year olds who have some experience riding bikes and they kept up without any issues. Really fun 3 hours - just enoigh time - not too little, not too much. Highly recommend this tour and Leo!!

The bike tour was lovely. As an American family, it felt very European to bike through the streets of Oslo. Patrick, our guide, shared meaningful facts about each stop. With small breaks we had plenty of time for picture taking. The bikes were well maintained and the route was manageable. The stops including the royal palace and the sculpture garden allowed us just enough time to take in the beauty.

We had a fantastic tour with Austra! She has lived in the city for only 5 years but her knowledge of the history and geography of Oslo was impressive. We followed several her suggestions but the one that impressed us most was the ride to the end of the LRT line to a beautiful lake high above the City. Wow! Thanks Austra!

One of the best tour experiences I’ve had. Seeing Oslo by bike was so much more fun on a bike. I learnt so much history with Erwin
There was a lot of bike time, which I love, but also good history and selections of stopping points (although the opera house was omitted). Oslo is very unrestricted for bicycles so we were able to ride right through crowded pedestrian areas.
