Great city tour with a very informative guide John who was fluent in Norwegian but was actually Welsh. He explained the meaning of some of the sculptures in the park and was very knowledgable about the artist. If you are feeling brave try the downhill ski simulator at the ski jump!

Itinerary

Greet your guide at a central Oslo location and climb aboard a luxury coach for a sightseeing tour of the city. Stop first at Vigeland Park, a verdant expanse that immortalizes the work of sculptor, Gustav Vigeland. Stroll past more than 200 bronze and granite sculptures, capturing photographs of iconic pieces like the 46-foot (14-meter) Monolith and the statue of an angry London boy.

Next, travel to the world-famous Holmenkollen Ski Jump to absorb sweeping vistas of Oslo. During some leisurely free time, soak up incredible views and hear of why the ski jump used in the 1952 Olympics is so iconic.

Return to the center of Oslo to embark on a whistle-stop tour of the capital’s historical highlights; listen to insightful commentary as you cruise past Arkershus Castle, the Royal Palace Park and Oslo Cathedral. Excellent tour for a good...

Tim_M, Mar 2026
Excellent tour for a good overview of Oslo. Our guide (Elena - I think) did a wonderful job of describing the major sights of Oslo and the pace of the tour was good. The ski jump was quite impressive - and we had a reasonable amount of time there before continuing on to Vigeland Park. Elena provided a nice walk through of the park along with her commentary on the unusual sculptures. The provided us the flexibility to stay on the bus (with the appropriate extra fee) and extend our tour to include the Fram Museum and Kon-Tiki Museums. We enjoyed Elena's commentary at both museums and then they dropped us near the waterfront area and the Oslo Opera - which was pretty close to our hotel. All in all - a day well spent.

Great history and artistic tour of the area.

Adam_R, Dec 2025
I had a nice experience going through the city with a good history lesson on the city if Oslo. It was cloudy at the ski jump area unfortunately, but was interesting to see what I could. The guide Christian, gave us a nice tour of the Vigeland sculpture park and explained the artist who made the sculptures. Although the weather didn't cooperate perfectly, it was still a good way to spend a few hours and learn about the area.

Great tour

We saw a lot in the time allotted. The. Ski jump was fun to look at. The walk through Vigiland Sculpture Park was beautiful and interesting. Our guide was quite knowledgeable about the history of the park. We got to see a lot of Oslo in a short time.

Don’t miss Vigeland Park!!!!

Debi_W, Aug 2025

Fabulous Oslo Experience

Robert_C, Aug 2025
Our guide provided a detailed, extremely interesting and well told history of Norway from ancient Vikings to present day was we toured this special city. She described the evolution of culture and the artists that made it remarkable in an extremely engaging way. The ski jumping tower is not to be missed but the highlight was Vigeland Park and the sculptures. Our driver was a master. Our highest recommendation.

Oslo, Norway Trip

Paulette_S, Jul 2025
Our guide Rita was funny and informative. She gave us a lot of background information about the sites we were seeing in addition to the history of Norway’s development as a country and the complex interaction with its neighbors Sweden and Denmark. Our driver Michael was also excellent..

Oslo City Tour

Mark_S, Jun 2025
The guide was easily the best we’ve ever had! She was so knowledgeable, informative, and funny! Great sights in Oslo but the guide made it extra special. One note: if you’re on a cruise (as we were) and used to being met at the dock, heads up! This tour begins in the city center. It’s an easy 20 minute walk. We weren’t paying attention to that detail and realized too late, so had to take a taxi. The thieves charged €50 for a 5-minute ride!!!

See Oslo through a locals eyes.

William_C, Jun 2025
A great way to get to know Oslo history with a guide and driver that takes you to some of the highlights of thar beautiful city. Even if it's raining and full of other visitors, you will come away with memories thar will make you smile.

Janine Rocks the Panorama Bus Tour!

lghouston, May 2025
Janine, our knowledgeable guide, and Mikhail, our bus driver, gave us a fantastic introductory tour of Oslo! After explaining the central city’s main sights, we drove to the awe inspiring Holmenkollen Ski Jump. Next, we visited the Vigeland Park, whose sculptures Janine gave us an art history lesson on. By including these two great, less accessible highlights in the tour, we felt that we’d had a marvelous use of our time. We can highly recommend taking this tour with Janine.

Informative Tour

ManChing_L, May 2025
Informative. Christopher is a humorous tour guide with good and clear information about the Sculpture Park.

It was a very rainy day but we still enjoyed it very much! The tour guide and driver were great. Unfortunately, I left my phone on the bus! I called immediately and they delivered the phone to me within 30 minutes! Wonderful service!

Wonderful overview of Oslo

Manuel_B, Jul 2024
Great way to get an overview of the city, loved the monument garden. The guide was excellent. Wonderful excursion

Ski jump and Sculpture park Tour

CharleneH, Jul 2024
We had a short excursion time. This was a nice excursion to get a “first time” view of Oslo. We learned about the town as we drove to the ski jump. Our guide walked with us through the sculpture park giving us lots of information. We appreciated having a guide rather than a recording on the hop on hop off bus. It was a bit of a walk to the start from the cruise ship. They dropped us off at the cruise ship on the return.
