**5/5 Stars** We just finished the Half-Day Private Muscat City Tour and it was absolutely outstanding – easily one of the highlights of our time in Oman! In only 4 hours we saw all the city’s must-see landmarks without feeling rushed, thanks to flawless organization and our wonderful guide, **Ahmad**. From the very first minute, everything ran smoothly. Our guide Ahmad picked us up right at our hotel in a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle (huge plus in the heat!). He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate – he shared fascinating stories about Omani history and culture that made every stop come alive. We started at the breathtaking **Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque** – the intricate architecture, giant crystal chandelier, and stunning Persian carpets left us speechless. Next was the elegant **Royal Opera House**, followed by a relaxing photo stop at scenic **Qurum Beach**. We then admired the impressive **Al Alam Palace** with the historic **Al Jilali and Al Mirani forts** in the background, and finished at the vibrant **Mutrah Souq**, where we wandered through the colorful stalls, enjoyed the authentic atmosphere, and picked up some beautiful souvenirs and frankincense. The pacing was ideal, the vehicle was super comfortable, and bottled water was provided throughout. Being a private tour made it feel personal and flexible – exactly what we wanted. If you’re in Muscat (even for a short stay), this tour is an absolute must. Ahmad made the whole experience extra special and truly memorable.
