We had an amazing tour in Oman with Shaker — truly one of the best experiences of our trip! 🌟
We explored Nizwa Fort and enjoyed incredible views and history, then walked through Nizwa Souq, where Shaker helped us find authentic Omani products and explained the local traditions behind them. It made shopping there so much more special!
We also visited the beautiful ruins of Birkat Al Mouz, learned about the traditional aflaj irrigation system, and spent time with a small walk in the stunning mountains of Jebel Akhdar with breathtaking views and fresh air.
Shaker was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day fun and relaxed. Highly recommend touring Oman with him — a perfect mix of culture, history, and unforgettable scenery! 🇴🇲✨

A brilliant day trip to Nizwa souq & fort plus Jabal Akhdar mountains and Barkat Al Muz old village.
A great way to see other parts of Oman away from Muscat. Our guide Khalid helped to make the day, very knowledgable and helpful throughout. Great to do things at our own pace.
Would definitely recommend the trip and Khalid.

A wonderful tour from start to finish. The Nizwar fort and castle was terrific and the souk (which is in the same grounds) was really interesting, the Omanis are really friendly people and there is no hassle or pressure selling if you just want to stroll around the different stalls. The drive up and views from Jebel Akdah are stunning and then a visit to the fascinating little village of Birkat where you can wander round the abandoned farmers villages and get a sense of how they lived - wonderful little coffee shop up here as well - our guide Abdul was truly wonderful for the whole trip, a super friendly and knowledgeable guide, who we gelled with straight away. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and thank you again Abdul!

Anyone visiting Oman ahould definitely visit here. Nizwafort is beautiful and so is the Souq, I liked it more than Mutthrah.

We had an exceptional day exploring Nizwa, Nizwa Fort, and Jebel Akhdar with our driver and guide, Fauzi. From start to finish, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the region’s history and culture.
Fauzi made every stop more meaningful with his insights and stories, and he ensured we were comfortable throughout the entire journey. His driving was smooth and safe, especially on the winding roads up to Jebel Akhdar, and he never rushed us at any point.
The combination of breathtaking scenery and Fauzi’s warm hospitality made this one of the highlights of our trip to Oman. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

I had a fantastic one-day tour in Niziwa! The trip was well-organized, and the guide Mr. Khalid was knowledgeable, providing interesting insights into the city’s history and culture.
One of the highlights was visiting Niziwa Fort, where I enjoyed the stunning views and learned about its historical significance. The bustling Niziwa Souq was also a great experience, with its vibrant atmosphere and a variety of traditional handicrafts, spices, and local products.

Very nice tour! My driver Said Al Kiyumi was very nice, helpful, polite, informative and patient with me in the souk. It was like I spent a day with a friend.
Fantastic tour for someone who wants to experience a more traditional view of Oman.
Last stop in the mountains was great, food delicious with reasonable prices.

My family and I had a wonderful experience with our guide, Khalfan, over two days--he joined us both for the trip to Wahiba Sands and Wadi Bani Khalid, as well as Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar. Both day tours from Muscat were long, as both locations are a few hours from Muscat by car, but Khalfa made the time pass by quickly. He was full of interesting information about Oman's history, daily life in Oman, and Omani culture. His knowledge made our trip to Oman all the richer--it would have been much more difficult to appreciate each of the sites we visited without his commentary. All-in-all, a wonderful two days with Khalfan--we will certainly ask for him for future visits to Oman!

The driver and the vehicle were excellent. Our driver/guide Ahmed showed a lot of flexibility and we visited all we wanted to, including two stops in Muscat. We had lunch at a great restaurant in the mountains. I really enjoyed the souk on Nizwa where we could try dates and local food, people were very friendly. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful day with Ahmed. He was great taking us to the sites and telling us stories. He was funny and has a great sense of humor. He also adjusted the schedule based on how we were feeling that day since it was super hot. Nizwa was amazing and the views from the mountain were great. Highly recommended.

A great experience with Hamood, firstly Nizwa visiting the fort and the souk, then heading up into the Jebel Akhdar. The drive, up and down the Jebel was interesting in itself, but the scenery was all worthwhile. Hamood went beyond expectations in terms of knowledgeable discussion and time commitment.

Nizwa Fort and jebel akhdar both were the highlights of the tour. At Nizwa souq our guide and driver Nabhan was ensuring that we buy the genuine products of Oman. He recommended the right shops. At jebel akhdar we stopped at a restaurant for lunch which had an amazing view point. He was extremely patient with us despite our frequent photo stops and selfie. He exhibited good knowledge of history not just of nizwa but also he knew everything about muscat and Oman.

Our recent private tour of Nizwa and Jebel Akhdar in Oman was an extraordinary experience, leaving us in awe of the rich history and breathtaking landscapes. Our guide, Ahmad, was not only exceptionally kind but also a wealth of knowledge, making the journey even more memorable. Exploring Nizwa Fort and Nizwa Souq was amazing, with the historical charm of the fort and the vibrant atmosphere of the Souq leaving us captivated. Along the way, we enjoyed delicious coffee, tea, date syrup, and the exquisite halwa dessert, adding delightful flavors to our cultural exploration. Also bought many of these delights to go to share with family and friends. The tour also took us to Jebel Akhdar, offering mesmerizing views from magnificent mountains. The final stop at Falaj Al Khatmeen, a water irrigation marvel of 500 years, was truly fascinating. The comfort of the 4x4 vehicle added to the overall enjoyment. Amazing day out with Ahmed.
Picked up from the port gate and we did a round trip of over 400kms. First stop Ahmed bought us Omani tea and Omani Egg and Cheese Flatbreads (Ragag Ma Beed Wa Jibne) … the tea was hot and sweet and the flatbreads yummy.
Onto Nizwa Souk and fort. We bought some spices and the freshest walnuts we have ever had. Many interesting stalls/shops to visit.
Nizwa Fort is an interesting and worthwhile attraction to visit.
We then drove up Jebel Akdhar and now understand why a 4x4 is required! Ahmed’s driving skills were superb! Wonderful viewpoint.
On our return to the ship we stopped at a local shopfront to buy shawarma. Tasty and fresh.
We would thoroughly recommend this tour and our driver/guide Ahmed. We learnt a lot about Oman and we would love to visit and stay longer to explore more of this beautiful and friendly country.
