What are people saying about Normandy

D Day beaches excursion from Le Havre for cruisers.
Everything about this experience was amazing! There were representatives to meet us shortly after we got off the ship and they guided us to the bus location for loading.
The most impressive part of the excursion was the commentary by Sam. The history and facts he provided leading up to our stops were unbelievable. All of the background of history preceding D Day was detailed and informative and made the experience far more valuable than just visiting the sights would have been on our own.
Everything was very organized and we arrived back at port on time as planned.
I would highly recommend this excursion for future travelers

Normandy
We enjoyed our tour with guide sam, who was very knowledgeable and informative throughout the tour. He provided us with insight and the history of normandie and also took us to a bonus stop, while bringing us back to the cruise pier with lots of time to spare.

Excellent day with Amandine!
We had a fantastic day Amandine! She was so knowledgeable, kept us at a good pace and our entire group commented about how passionate she is about the history and eager she is to share it with you at whatever level you're coming to the tour with (whether you know very little or know all the details). We also loved that our group was only 8 (we saw other tours that were 16 or even 30+ people) and Amandine timed everything to arrive just before the crowds and right at the exact moment at the cemetery when they do their flag lowering ceremony which was so moving. We'd highly recommend this tour!

Moving tour with great, informative guide
This was a great tour of key World War II sites, focused on America's role in the D-Day landing, but our guide Fred was amazing in the breadth of knowledge about D-Day and WWII in general. I have read a lot of books and watch a lot of movies abotu WWII but learned so much more during this tour. Very moving. Highly recommend!

Best day in Normandy!
We had the best day at Normandy! We have always wanted to come here and are so glad that we did! Fabrice was an incredible guide! He shared so many historical facts and details. He was so wonderful and easy to talk to. I’d recommend this tour to anyone. Especially with Fabrice as your guide!

Amazing and Fun Experience of Normandy!
This tour was INCREDIBLE! We took the train from Paris to Bayeux in the morning. It was myself, my wife, 17 year old son, and 7 year old daughter. Remi and John were our guides. We had so much much and learned so much about both the British and American invasions! We had a fabulous lunch (not included but recommended) at a small French Diner. We visited Gold Beach, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery and la Pointe du Hoc, where we could see Utah Beach and even had a military plane fly right over us! Afterwards we had time for souvenirs then back to the train station! It was a long day but so AMAZING! Definitely recommended!!!!

Comprehensive D-Day Tour
Noemie is a phenomenal guide! She provided historical context and visuals to make everything come alive. Utah & Omaha beaches with the bunkers, defense lines & positions of the allies were unbelievable. We visited a museum & ended at the Normandy American Cemetery when the flag was lowered and taps were played. There are no words to describe the feeling - except our deep gratitude to all service members! Our guide was flexible & so easy to be with. We highly recommend a private tour!

Expert Guide Who Brought History to LifE
This tour was excellent from start to finish. The pick-up was easy and everything was very well organised. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the history, which made the experience even more meaningful. Visiting Omaha Beach and the cemetery was very moving, and the stories and context our guide shared really brought the history to life. A powerful experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Normandy.

We had a very informative tour of Pointe du Hoc, the American War Cemetery & Omaha's beach. Our guide Manon explained the significance of the place & events associated with the DDay landings in Normandy.
Manon also was kind enough dropped us at the hotel although it was not included in the list of hotels eligible for drop offs.
Overall it was a very memorable tour!!

Mont Saint Michel tour...
Mont Saint Michel tour was very well arranged. We were lucky to have the same guide, Manon, for the tour! The entire tour was indeed an unique experience in the medieval charm of the island and the abbey. We got enough free time to explore the area & grab lunch on the island before returning.
Indeed worth visiting !!

An Authentic and Inspiring Experience
This is a wonderful half day tour of Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery, and Point du Hoc. Our guide, Charlie, was very passionate about the war in his words, in his careful and deliberate depictions and sketches of what the Allied soldiers experienced on D day. I felt totally immersed and in the guide of an expert who truly made the experience worthwhile. You will have an opportunity to see the intimidating cliffs the US rangers had to scale to storm the German gun batteries and awe in just how difficult that feat would have been. You will see the American cemetery where the thousands of lives were given over the course of the war to fight tyranny. If you time it right, you will get to see the taps ceremony at 1600 which undoubtedly evokes a sense of admiration and sadness. Finally, seeing the same beach the thousands of Allied soldiers stormed under terrible weather conditions and sheer bad luck really gives you a perspective on what sacrifice truly means. I highly recommend the tour.

This was an outstanding...
This was an outstanding tour with an excellent and well-informed guide (thank you Marian). We learned much and experienced much, and came away with a sense of awe and appreciation for what our young soldiers accomplished on June 6 and beyond. The visit to the cemetery was very moving. For those considering a shorter tour, we'd highly recommend this one - there was a lot of information packed into the trip.
