Fabulous D-Day tour
Mathis ( Matthew) was an excellent guide today. He was extremely knowledgeable and D-Day history is definitely his area of expertise. He was accommodating and very friendly so our tour was fabulous. We would highly recommend this tour and if Mathis is your guide, you are extremely fortunate!

D-day
Moving, informative, beautiful scenery. Our tour guide, Sam, was exceptionally knowledgeable about European history and events underlying the conflict of both WWI and WWII. Lunch was simple but delicious and the trip had adequate facilities for restroom breaks and the purchase of souvenirs. Overall, a very nice day!

Normandy
We enjoyed our tour with guide sam, who was very knowledgeable and informative throughout the tour. He provided us with insight and the history of normandie and also took us to a bonus stop, while bringing us back to the cruise pier with lots of time to spare.

Great trip with Herve
We are so glad we had a private guide, Herve, who was an encyclopedia of knowledge. It’s a long day but extremely interesting and informative. If possible, get to the beaches at low tide so that you can see the wide beach that the soldiers and equipment had to cross. At high tide there is no sand visible

Moving tour with great, informative guide
This was a great tour of key World War II sites, focused on America's role in the D-Day landing, but our guide Fred was amazing in the breadth of knowledge about D-Day and WWII in general. I have read a lot of books and watch a lot of movies abotu WWII but learned so much more during this tour. Very moving. Highly recommend!

Informative and emotional
Our guide, Thierry, was very knowledgeable. He added a lot to the tour with his detailed stories about some of the men who fought in these battles, and the tactics and strategies of the combatants and their commanders. He used pictures and maps of the action in his presentation. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be ready for a few close quarters and steps in the bunkers. Also be ready to stand as your tour guide details what happened in these areas in 1944. Come with your questions. Our guide time the ending to be at the EOD taps and flag lowering.

Amazing and Fun Experience of Normandy!
This tour was INCREDIBLE! We took the train from Paris to Bayeux in the morning. It was myself, my wife, 17 year old son, and 7 year old daughter. Remi and John were our guides. We had so much much and learned so much about both the British and American invasions! We had a fabulous lunch (not included but recommended) at a small French Diner. We visited Gold Beach, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery and la Pointe du Hoc, where we could see Utah Beach and even had a military plane fly right over us! Afterwards we had time for souvenirs then back to the train station! It was a long day but so AMAZING! Definitely recommended!!!!

Expert Guide Who Brought History to LifE
This tour was excellent from start to finish. The pick-up was easy and everything was very well organised. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the history, which made the experience even more meaningful. Visiting Omaha Beach and the cemetery was very moving, and the stories and context our guide shared really brought the history to life. A powerful experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Normandy.

We had a very informative...
We had a very informative tour of Pointe du Hoc, the American War Cemetery & Omaha's beach. Our guide Manon explained the significance of the place & events associated with the DDay landings in Normandy.
Manon also was kind enough dropped us at the hotel although it was not included in the list of hotels eligible for drop offs.
Overall it was a very memorable tour!!

Mont Saint Michel tour...
Mont Saint Michel tour was very well arranged. We were lucky to have the same guide, Manon, for the tour! The entire tour was indeed an unique experience in the medieval charm of the island and the abbey. We got enough free time to explore the area & grab lunch on the island before returning.
Indeed worth visiting !!

An Authentic and Inspiring Experience
This is a wonderful half day tour of Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery, and Point du Hoc. Our guide, Charlie, was very passionate about the war in his words, in his careful and deliberate depictions and sketches of what the Allied soldiers experienced on D day. I felt totally immersed and in the guide of an expert who truly made the experience worthwhile. You will have an opportunity to see the intimidating cliffs the US rangers had to scale to storm the German gun batteries and awe in just how difficult that feat would have been. You will see the American cemetery where the thousands of lives were given over the course of the war to fight tyranny. If you time it right, you will get to see the taps ceremony at 1600 which undoubtedly evokes a sense of admiration and sadness. Finally, seeing the same beach the thousands of Allied soldiers stormed under terrible weather conditions and sheer bad luck really gives you a perspective on what sacrifice truly means. I highly recommend the tour.

Great tour and guide!
We enjoyed our tour very much. The smaller group tours allow everyone the opportunity to ask questions and relay what the observe to the whole group. The guide was well versed in the history of the different sites and added details and tidbits of information that he knew would interest the different people in the tour. For those who don't speak French, our guide spoke very good English. I have recommended the experience to friends who are thinking of doing a guided tour in Normandy.
