Amazing tour!

This was worth every penny! Our guide Thierry was absolutely incredible. He was knowledgeable, considerate, patient, and kind. His stories, pictures, and maps brought a depth of understanding that cannot be gained from reading books and watching films. It was a hot day and so he did everything he could to make sure we were comfortable throughout the day, even offering cold water bottles. If you are Canadian this gives some reality to what the men experienced and the hardships the french and other countries had to endiure at the hands of the Germans. The amount of infrastructure put in place by the Germans was unbelievable as was the scale of the Juno beach assault. Highly recommend Stephane to interpret the events and bring them to life.

Highly recommended. Very professional, authentic and knowledgeable. Our guide Paul was a wealth of genuine, accurate information about many aspects and events of the war, and in the Normandy area in particular. We visited several of the historic - and emotionally moving - sites, and spent informative, quality time at each one. You don’t need to be a “fan” of the Band of Brothers series to appreciate and enjoy this tour, but if you are, you will absolutely appreciate it that much more! We will do this very same tour again next year when we return to the area.

Amazing experience with my sons and husband. Far from gimmicky this is the real deal. These guys know the routes and all the historical facts and will transport you to places the more touristic operations won't take you. Like the vantage point above Omaha beach. Their historical knowledge is second to none, their sense of fun puts the kids into a great frame of mind and the retro experience a brilliant way to do this. Could not recommend it enough

Outstanding Tour

Fantastic tour…Helene, our guide for the day was amazing! She was so knowledgeable, happy, and enthusiastic about giving us a very comprehensive account of all the happenings on 6 June 1944! Our visit to Ste Mere-Église, Ponte du Hoc, the Landing Beaches - Utah and Omaha, and to the American Cemetery were all quite moving as we relived the landings and all that our Boys (US), not to forget the Brits and Canadians who landed at Gold, Juno and Sword (we did not visit these 3 beaches on this tour) went through just trying to make it ashore and capture the beachhead for follow on troops…WOW! Highly recommend this tour and if you get Helene as your guide, well you are lucky…she is great!

Great way to explores Normandy

This was such a wonderful experience, I would love to recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy Bayeux countryside. It’s not physically challenging as I thought. Rather very relaxing and manageable ride. Our tour guide Theo was very nice and knowledgeable about the D-day and Normandy . We rode around the area and learned about the history. I cried at the Normandy memorial site. What a tour!

Excellent tour! Our guide, Pascal was very knowledgeable, so interesting. We not only visited all the D-Day sites, but we were able to understand so much more from Pascal. The tour was amazing, moving, and the all day tour was the perfect length. Also, I had the best almond eclair at our lunch stop at a boulangerie.

My husband and I had a...

My husband and I had a great experience with this day long Normandy Beaches . The meet up with our tour guide was easy. Naomi was friendly and full of information. She gave full , interesting information to paint the picture of the planning and execution of D-Day. The lunch/museum stop could have been longer - it was hard to see both the museum and have a meal as well. We enjoyed the day- it is a lot of information to take in but well worth the time. Thank you for a great tour Naomi.
