Our tour was in a small sized bus. Guide was very knowledgable about D-day and surrounding region. She added extras about the American cementary and landing in normandy for us. We were able to stop for lunch and souvenirs and walk on the beach. Bring an umbrella for uncertain weather. Lots of walking for those who arent used to it at sites. All in all, great experience!

Zoltan was great!

Nancy_F, Jun 2026
We had a wonderfully knowledgeable guide who, when I asked what would my grandfather would have seen when he landed 6 days later, he said “a massive storm” that did a lot of damage to the area. He was also able to tell me a bit about the fighting down at St Malo, where my grandfather was wounded. Our guide was to discuss not just the day of the landing, but also things that happened miles and days apart. Zoltan was a wonderful guide!

Hotel Pick-up does not mean drop off too!

Stephen_B, Jun 2026
We were not happy with the end of the tour. There were 3 parties of two who were picked up in the morning and taken to the bus. That worked great. I booked this tour for the hotel pick-up and drop-off service. When we returned, the tour guide knew nothing about transport back to our hotel for any of the 3 groups of 2. She called the office and the office said that they knew nothing about hotel transport, even though we were picked up in the morning. All 6 of us left unhappy and felt that we were not getting the service that we paid for. I personally incurred a cab fare of 30 Euros for transport of my girlfriend and I to our hotel. As far as the actual tour goes, our guide was very good. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided much background on World War II, not just the D-Day landings. The tour stopped at Point Du Hoc. This stop required some walking to see the German Command Bunker. Located between Utah and Omaha beaches, it provided a good vantage point of the landing zones. We them rode over to Omaha Beach. There was not too much walking there. From Omaha, the tour went to the American Cemetery. This was a very moving stop. It was a long walk to the cemetery gravesite – but it was on paved a paved path, with benches. It would have been a plus to have a little more time at this site. From there, we went to Arromanches-les-Bains. A local resort town for lunch and shopping. The restaurant was slow and took the entire hour allotted for the strop. I managed to get a couple of souvenirs by excusing myself from the table and quickly visiting a nearby shop while lunch was being prepared. From there we went to Juno Beach and then headed back to Paris. The Tour made a stop at a highway rest area about half-way in each direction. This was a nice opportunity to use restrooms and get something to eat or drink. The Normandy beaches were about 4 hours from Paris. The bus was comfortable and clean. I am giving this tour a low rating because of the hotel drop off issue.

Amazing and very informative guide

Marites_R, Jun 2026
Amazing, friendly, helpful, very informative guide and the bus driver were kept us safe and they were both very patience.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Dear Marites, Thank you so much for your comment! We’re so glad to know that the service provided by our team met your expectations! We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the future! Kind regards, Extime Travel (formerly Paris City Vision)

I wouldn’t recommend

Janet_R, Jun 2026
The bus was extremely small and uncomfortable for such a long ride! There were stops, that helped, but there also was no bathroom on the bus! Again there were stops so not that much of a problem. This tour should have been in a large comfortable bus! It was expensive also. The sights where we were taken were great, and was happy to see them. But we were rushed because of how long a trip we had. The tour guide was very nice, he recommended a restaurant that was good, but nothing can make that bus trip be ok!

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Dear Janet, Thank you for your comment. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the places you visited and that the day was to your liking. We work with highly skilled professionals, as we care about the quality we offer to our customers. Regarding your comments about the bus, we are sorry that it did not meet your expectations. We will forward your feedback to the relevant department so that improvements to the vehicle can be addressed. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, Extime Travel (formerly Paris City Vision)

Excellent tour of Normandy

Loraine_H, Jun 2026
Absolutely extraordinary wonderful experience on this tour Our guide very knowledgeable about the history and everything that brought America and Europe to this point. Great driver and again great tour guide. What we liked about him? He was very matter of fact, and he kept people on time and in a group like that that’s very important. He did a wonderful job again the tour very very much worth it.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

We’re delighted to know that our guide’s extensive knowledge of D-Day met your expectations, and that you appreciated their engaging guidance throughout the tour! Every single stop we made...

Lois_C, Jun 2026
Every single stop we made on this trip was rushed, especially the cemetery. I could barely understand our guide’s English so I misunderstood a lot of his instructions about what to do. I would not recommend this tour.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Dear Lois, Thank you for your comment. We are sorry that the pace of the tour seemed rushed to you and that communication with the guide was not entirely clear. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we will forward your comments to the operations department so they can review what happened. We hope to welcome you again in the future and offer you a more satisfactory experience. Kind regards, Extime Travel (formerly Paris City Vision)

Great Experience

Annette_D, Jun 2026
I cannot even begin to describe what an amazing tour this was! Our guide was so knowledgeable and nice! At the American Cemetery, you cannot go up to the headstones; however, when I told our guide I had a Great Uncle buried there and was hoping to see his headstone, he took me straight to the welcome center and they took me to his grave! Without the help of our guide, it probably wouldn’t have been possible. Highly recommend this tour to anyone!!!

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Dear Annette, Thank you very much for your comment. We are extremely glad to know that the tour was so special for you and that our guide was able to help you visit your relative’s grave at the American Cemetery. We are proud to be able to offer this type of personalized attention. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again on another occasion. Kind regards, Extime Travel (formerly Paris City Vision)

Guided D-Day 1 day Bus Tour

Edward_M, Jun 2026
The best way to tour the Normandy D-Day sites without a your own vehicle. Our Tour Guide, Nicholas was excellent! He was extremely knowledgeable and organized the timing during the tour perfectly.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Dear Edward, Thak you very much for your comment. We are very glad to know that you enjoyed the experience as well as the guide. Normandy Tour not worth your money or time

Jennifer_F, Jun 2026
If you are looking for a tour of Normandy I would not recommend this tour. Our tour guide dropped us off at Obama beach and said you have 20 minutes. Unable to see Pointe du hoc as it was closed to the public. His remarks were will they close it all the time. Spent on hour and a half for lunch. Suppose to stop at Juno Beach and we just drove by it… no stopping. The guide had radios to hand out so he could communicate what we were seeing but never handed them out or used them. Spent 8 hours in a van and paid very good money for a tour we could have taken on our own. Very disappointing!

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Dear Jennifer Thank you for your comment. We sincerely regret that the tour did not meet your expectations and that some parts of the itinerary could not be carried out as planned. We understand your disappointment regarding the course of the visit, and we will forward your comments to the relevant department in order to review what happened. We hope to see you again so that we can offer you a service that meets your expectations. Kind regards, Extime Travel (formerly Paris City Vision)

Memorable experience

Vernon_B, May 2026
Dress for inclement weather! It can go from sun to driving rain in a minute. Our guide Zolton was fabulous - knowledgible and funny. The lunch stop was a quality restaurant and there were rest stops both directions. Remember which package you purchased, if you forgot, it is hard to find on the website or voucher. With many WWII Vets in our famiily we are glad we signed up for this emotional experience.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Vernon, Thank you very much for your comment. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the experience and that Zolton made the tour so engaging and enjoyable. We are also pleased that you appreciated the lunch stop and the rest breaks. We especially value that you experienced this journey in such a meaningful way as a family. We hope to welcome you again on another occasion. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Normandy

Sheila_K, May 2026
This was a great bus trip if you’ve just got a day. We got to see several beaches, the cemetery and had lunch. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable but since he’s French he was hard to understand

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Sheila, Thank you very much for your comment. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and were able to make the most of your day visiting the beaches, the cemetery, and other highlights along the route. We also appreciate your comments about the guide. We’re pleased that you found him very knowledgeable, and we understand that sometimes an accent can make understanding a bit more difficult. Your feedback is very valuable to us and helps us continue improving the experience for all our customers. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Very special and meaningful experience especially for the countries involved

Patricia_R, May 2026
It can be very chilly, high winds and low temperatures by the water. But the experience is great. The only negative is that upon your return to Paris you are just dropped off at a random spot by the Eiffel Tower to find your way back to your hotel even when you have hotel pickup in the morning t. You are never told this until you are 10-15 minutes from drop off.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Patricia, Thank you very much for your comment. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the experience, despite the weather conditions. Regarding your other comment, please note that this type of tour only includes hotel pick-up and not drop-off. This information is included in the “Exclusions” section of the product. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Duranda_M, May 2026
Zoltar was a kind and knowledgeable guide. He took great care of each person on the tour. His experience with the military was an added layer of expertise in his explanation of America’s WWII involvement.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Duranda, Thank you so much for your nice and detailed comment. We are glad to know that your journey to Normandy D-Day Beaches and American Cementery pleased you especially thanks to our guide’s expertise and care. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future! Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Memorable location, disappointing guide

Mary_T, May 2026
We have taken many guided tours in Europe over the last year. While we perceived our guide to be knowledgeable, his rambling, impersonal speaking style made him difficult to understand.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Mary, Thank you very much for your comment. We sincerely regret the inconvenience you experienced during the journey, so we will forward your comments to the relevant department. We truly appreciate your feedback, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again under better circumstances. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

This was a self guided tour of GREAT destinations!

John_D, May 2026
The destinations were great! However, we do not feel like we got a "tour".. but moreso driven around and told where to go. Our guide was fine.. he provided good info on the bus.. but at the stops, we were left on our to do our touring.. This was not promoted as a self-guided tour and we did not purchase a self-guided tour.. but that is what we got for the most part..

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear John, Thank you for your comment. We are glad to know that you enjoyed your tour to Normandy despite the inconvenience you experienced. We have taken note of your comments and forward them to the appropriate department. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again under better circumstances. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Relive D Day by walking on the same grounds our brave men did 82 years ago

Bob_A, Apr 2026
Puts the entire D Day events in a chilling perspective. Unbelievable courage these brave men/boys displayed in order to free Europe and democracy from tyranny. Our guide (Anne) was incredible. Her vast and comprehensive knowledge of the events was shared in a most respectful and solemn manner. She also shared many tips for enjoying all that Paris has to offer, Highly recommend this tour for everyone to experience and share.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Bob, Thank you so much for your detailed and nice comment. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed your day trip to Normandy, and that the information given by the host was of your liking. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Kind regards, Paris City Vision

Powerful and informative

Yolanda_A, Apr 2026
Miss Rodriguez who picked us up from the hotel was there on time and escorted us until we got on the van. Although the ride was a little bit cramped it was still a very nice ride. Our guide was really good and gave us a lot of information.

Normandy D-Day Beaches and American Cemetery Day Trip from Paris

fintona129, Jan 2026
Everything went well with exception we could not visit American Cemetery — due to New Years Day January 1 closed — I did not think to view the ABMC website for holiday schedule because we booked the “Normandy D-Day Beaches and American Cemetery Day Trip from Paris” and would have thought Viator would have known this — dress warmly in booking in winter — and double check holiday schedule some of the facilities / shoppes were closed which makes sense it was New Years after all We departed promptly 7am and returned by 7pm earlier because of change in itinerary . Leaving a good review because it was a enjoyable

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Dear Fintona, Thank you very much for your kind comment. Unfortunately, in France, on special dates such as New Year’s Day, some shops are closed, but we are glad that you were able to have an enjoyable experience with us. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to see you again soon. Kind regards,

This tour should come...

Glori_K, Jan 2026
This tour should come with a warning. It was almost too cold to enjoy which is why I took 2 stars off. Zoltan was wonderful. We had a very cramped van instead of a bus and the winds made getting off of the van almost unbearable.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Dear Glori, Thank you for your message. We are sorry to hear that your visit was not entirely to your liking. We are glad to know that you enjoyed the guide. We take note of your comments and will look into what happened with the bus. Kind regards,

Mediocre.

Christie_J, Jan 2026
The American speaking group got a van ride and not a big Coach. Sometimes it was hard to hear the tour guide in the van. The guide sometimes didn’t make sure the group stayed with him. He would walk ahead with the van. The company still allowed the booking on new years. Most stores and places were closed. So that was half our fault to assume it would be open.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Dear Christie, Thank you for your message. We are very sorry that your experience was not entirely satisfactory. One of our goals is for our guests to enjoy the tours to the fullest, so your feedback helps us improve. If you wish, you can contact us directly, providing the date of the tour and the reservation name, so that we can review what happened. We hope to see you soon and that you can regain your confidence in us in the future. Kind regards,

American

Ann_L, Dec 2025
It’s geared to who is in the group. Small group was perfect. So we did not see where the Brits landed. I understand that we didn’t have time to do it all. Great trip for what we saw. Camille was outstanding. Knew her history and what was important to share.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Dear Ann, Thank you very much for your thoughtful feedback. We’re delighted to hear that the small group format suited you well and that you enjoyed the experience despite the time constraints. Your kind words about Camille are truly appreciated, she will be thrilled to know her knowledge and passion made a difference. We hope to welcome you again for another discovery in the future. Kind Regards,

Great day

Barry_M, Dec 2025
