Meet Pariscityvision staff in red jackets outside Frame Brasserie, next to Hotel Pullman. Take Metro line 6 to Bir-Hakeim (2 min walk) or RER C to Champ de Mars, Tour Eiffel station, both close to the meeting point.

Start your Normandy day trip from central Paris, with pickup from your hotel if selected at the time of booking. Then, enjoy a scenic drive through the French countryside toward the northwest coast and discover WWII history and the site of the D-Day landings.
Take a stroll along Omaha Beach, one of the sites of the D-Day landings, and spend some free time to reflect, admire the ocean views, and visit the renowned visitor center here.
Continue your journey to the American Military Cemetary to pay your respects.
Then stop at Arromanches, to see the remains of the artificial harbor built by allied forces and have free time for lunch.
Your last stop is Juno Beach, where you visit the Canadian Memorial.
Finally, travel back to Paris where your tour concludes at the original departure point.

- The coach journey from Paris to Normandy takes approximately 3 - 4 hours and you will spend 5 hours in Normandy itself

- A warm coat is recommended during the winter period, a raincoat during the summer and a good pair of walking / flat shoes are suggested to avoid discomfort
- The itinerary and times may be subject to change depending on traffic conditions or changes in site
- Please note that we don't accept big luggages on the coach
- Depending on the schedule, it may be possible to stop at Juno Beach. This stop is not guaranteed and will depend on the time available.
- The duration mentioned on site may be changed on the day for operational reasons.

Q:How can I let you know where to pick me up?
A:We offer pick ups from most hotels within Paris (ZIP code has to start with 75). Pick up must be arranged 48 hours prior to departure, after this timedeparture will be set from our agency at 2 rue des Pyramides, 75001 PARIS - Metro Pyramides or Tuilerie. You can let us know where you are staying in the 'Special Requirements' box in the Traveler Details section during checkout. Or you can let us know after booking by visiting 'Manage my Booking' and emailing us there.

This is a full day experience (approx 7:00-7:00) and well worth your time. Our guide (Dimitri) and driver (Charlie) have the day timed perfectly. Dimitri was very informative about such an important piece of history. My husband and I loved the day and would highly recommend.

We have taken many guided tours in Europe over the last year. While we perceived our guide to be knowledgeable, his rambling, impersonal speaking style made him difficult to understand.

The destinations were great! However, we do not feel like we got a "tour".. but moreso driven around and told where to go.
Our guide was fine.. he provided good info on the bus.. but at the stops, we were left on our to do our touring..
This was not promoted as a self-guided tour and we did not purchase a self-guided tour.. but that is what we got for the most part..

Puts the entire D Day events in a chilling perspective. Unbelievable courage these brave men/boys displayed in order to free Europe and democracy from tyranny. Our guide (Anne) was incredible. Her vast and comprehensive knowledge of the events was shared in a most respectful and solemn manner. She also shared many tips for enjoying all that Paris has to offer, Highly recommend this tour for everyone to experience and share.

Miss Rodriguez who picked us up from the hotel was there on time and escorted us until we got on the van. Although the ride was a little bit cramped it was still a very nice ride. Our guide was really good and gave us a lot of information.

A very enjoyable trip to Normandy, Omaha Beach, the American cemetary, and other sites with Steve. The bus ride is comfortable, with breaks, and lunch in a small beach town was delicious. Steve was a great guide.

Everything went well with exception we could not visit American Cemetery — due to New Years Day January 1 closed — I did not think to view the ABMC website for holiday schedule because we booked the “Normandy D-Day Beaches and American Cemetery Day Trip from Paris” and would have thought Viator would have known this — dress warmly in booking in winter — and double check holiday schedule some of the facilities / shoppes were closed which makes sense it was New Years after all We departed promptly 7am and returned by 7pm earlier because of change in itinerary . Leaving a good review because it was a enjoyable

This tour should come with a warning. It was almost too cold to enjoy which is why I took 2 stars off. Zoltan was wonderful. We had a very cramped van instead of a bus and the winds made getting off of the van almost unbearable.

The American speaking group got a van ride and not a big Coach. Sometimes it was hard to hear the tour guide in the van. The guide sometimes didn’t make sure the group stayed with him. He would walk ahead with the van. The company still allowed the booking on new years. Most stores and places were closed. So that was half our fault to assume it would be open.

It’s geared to who is in the group. Small group was perfect. So we did not see where the Brits landed. I understand that we didn’t have time to do it all. Great trip for what we saw. Camille was outstanding. Knew her history and what was important to share.

They planned out the excursion very well. We were able to see multiple sites and they planned stops for lunch and breaks. The bus was exceptionally comfortable/ upscale which ade the long ride more comfortable. Would definitely recommend this service to anyone wanting to make a day trip to Normandy. Wait at the corner for Viatur reps. Not in front of hotel. Van ride for that long trip was uncomfortable and pretty small. Tour guide was Camila and very thorough in explaining D-Day. She had an excellent map. I would have appreciated a readable pamphlet. The sights were worth every discomfort. I would do it again. Getting off the van after dark (same corner as pick-up) we were amazed to see the Eiffel Tower just across the street. Excellent spot for more photo ops.

Seeing Normandy was quite an experience but to hear the harrowing stories and history from Camille, our tour guide, was like watching a movie of D-Day. She and our driver, A, took us to all the sights and returned us back to Paris in less than 11 hours. It was a day well spent, especially knowing the 80th anniversary was this year.

It’s fast paced if you are older or have disability. Our guide gave us background info and told us what to see and where but we were on our own after to self tour with meeting time at bus, which was not a lot if you don’t walk pretty fast.

Our guide, who is a military officer provided a unique understanding of the size, complexity and strategy of the invasion along with information for all areas we visited.
