Balloon, Caves and Pyramids

It was a great experience! They picked us up right at our Airbnb. All of the staff and drivers were friendly and helpful. The only downside is the balloon doesn't actually fly over the pyramids like the pictures show, but you could see them from a distance. We did get to climb the temple of the moon! Overall it was a great day!

10000000/10 experience! Pick up coordination was on top of it. Exact timing, very good communication. Once arriving to the check in area, the staff was soooo FRIENDLY and inviting. Everyone is bilingual! Very accommodating. We celebrated our anniversary and they made it VERY SPECIAL. Landing the hot air balloon was SUPER SMOOOTHH. Super surprised!! Soaring above the Pyramids

It was a really great experience and not at all as scary as I thought it would be. It was a beautiful chilly morning and seeing the sunrise and all the other ballons launching and floating nearby was such a beautiful experience! We were able to see the pyramids perfectly form the distance and we're able to get super close up views. Our flight circled.the main sun pyramid and even flow is directly overhead. It was such an amazing and beautiful experience. Our bus driver and tour guide were both amazing, helpful and super informative! The breakfast at the caves was also amazingly delicious! Loved every moment of it. I would recommend bringing a jacket/sweater, it's super chilly out there while waiting for the balloon to be prepped, but you'll also survive if you don't. Once you're in the basket, the heat for the balloon warms you up.

The most magical morning

If you are on the fence about this experience, just do it. This was one of the most magical experiences I had during my time here. Being in flight above the pyramids is something I will remember forever. The operation is quite involved and the team does such a great job of creating the best experience for the guests. The chilaquiles inside the cave is also amazing and walking the pyramids is also super cool. Definitely worth it!

This was hands down one...

This was hands down one of the best experiences of our entire trip to Mexico City! My partner and I were initially a little nervous about doing a hot air balloon ride, but from the moment we were picked up at our hotel, everything was so easy and well organized. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and conditions and got to have the experience we were hoping for—flying over the Teotihuacán pyramids was absolutely breathtaking! Our pilot was wonderful and clearly took his role very seriously. You could immediately tell how knowledgeable, focused, and experienced he was, and that safety was his top priority while still making sure we were having an incredible time. As someone who was nervous going into the experience, I felt completely comfortable once we were in the air. The experience didn’t end with the balloon ride either. We had an amazing meal at La Cueva, and simply walking into the restaurant was an experience in itself. The food was delicious! Afterwards, we had the opportunity to learn about and taste mezcal, including getting an education on the agave plant, which was such a fun and unexpected part of the day. We also had some time for souvenir shopping before heading over to explore the pyramids. I truly can’t recommend this tour enough. From the hotel pickup, to the balloon ride, food, mezcal tasting, shopping, and visiting the pyramids, everything was seamless from beginning to end. Being picked up and dropped back off at our hotel made the entire day incredibly easy and stress-free. Most importantly, we came away with amazing photos, unforgettable memories, and an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering doing this tour, especially if you’re a little nervous like I was, do it—you won’t regret it!

Hector the pilot was...

Hector the pilot was great, smooth flight. Photographer was also great and took some beautiful pictures and fun videos! The ‘warm’ tea they offer when it’s cold in the early morning was all cold herbal options and the manager/staff were completely unapologetic and didn’t go to get us any water. Regardless, I’d still recommend this experience because of the pilot and safe beautiful experience

Do Not Miss This!

This is an EXTRAORDINARY experience and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City. Round trip transportation, hot air balloon ride a sunrise, meals and drinks, shopping, culture, private temple tour. I mean… I’d also like to shout out to our personal guides. They were so wonderful! And thank you to our driver, Mike, for making sure we arrived safely.

Go on this trip! You won't regret it!

We had an amazing time on our trip and would recommend this to everyone. We did the all-inclusive package. The pick-up from our Airbnb was on time and our driver communicated his plans ahead of time. The balloon portion of the trip was incredible - no one in our party had been in a hot air balloon before and it was more than we could have hoped for. The staff do a great job of making sure you are prepared for the flight and explain everything. You are able to store your belongings in lockers in the office and then you are given a personal photographer who takes photos of everyone that will be going up in your basket, and ours was getting everyone to do fun poses before we got in. Once you get into the basket, away you go! Our pilot was David and he was a pro navigating the balloon around. He did only speak to us in Spanish, and while we aren't fluent, we were able to pick up a majority of what he was pointing out while in the air. The breakfast in the cave was also super cool and the staff there HUSTLE! I've never been in and out so quickly but it was great because we had more to do! They took us to a obsidian/craft location, which was cool, but we did feel like it was just a stop to try and get us to buy souvenirs. Thankfully we weren't there too long before they then took us to our last stop, the tour of the pyramids/temples. Our guide, Diego, and he was an absolute gem! His energy was excellent and he gave us so much information about Teotihuacan, including showing photos of what it would have looked like in it's prime and allowing us to go up the one pyramid. We spent about 2 hours total at Teotihuacan and that was plenty, especially as it was starting to get closer to noon and getting very hot. Once our tour ended, we were taken back to our van and the driver brought us back to the city! I cannot recommend this tour and this company enough - we had so much fun and are so glad we did this!

Amazing experience! Highly recommend!

Everyone from Carlos the driver, Jessica the tour guide, to Alejandro the pilot were super friendly and professional. We were well taken care of. The breakfast in the cave actually exceeded my expectations. And of course the flight was just amazing! We did the trip with our seven year old daughter and she loved it. It's a bit hard for her to see over the rail in the beginning but once we are in the air Alejandro put her on top of the inside railing and she ended up with the best view!

This was a great experience. Picked us up right at our hotel. Everything felt very safe. Ruby was our point guide and she was GREAT! Not only was the hot air balloon an awesome experience but we learned a lot of new things and was transported everywhere we needed to go. Also, for all of my animal lovers… this company looks out for a few of the stray dogs in the neighborhood <3 That went a long way for me. 10/10 would recommend and will recommend to anyone I know who will be traveling to Mexico City!

Amazing experience!

Javier our driver was timely and communicated efficiently. He drove safe and it was nice to just have a personal driver for the morning. Ivan our pilot was lively and reassuring! He was charismatic and attentive to all worries. We enjoyed how kind and enthusiastic everyone was! Would book again!
