What are people saying about Mexico City

Would book again!
I don’t usually travel with tours set up. I do my own research and buy a tour book ( which I do read). This trip I had to see Frieda Kahlo’s house. Huge fan of her work. I was not disappointed. The guides were well informed and I learned a few things I didn’t know. The bus was clean and guides very pleasant. We were able to meet people from other parts of the world! Fun!! Geo was just great. We loved her and her smile.

Delicious and fun
This was a fun tour and Alex was an engaging and knowledgeable guide. The food stops were well chosen, and included an interesting walk around the bustling neighborhood. This tour is a good choice if you are a newcomer to CDMX, or if you have visited many times. There are always new discoveries to be found.

Amazing!
Wow! We had the best time on this food tour. We had such amazing food, but what made it so special was German, our guide. He was so knowledgeable about the food and the Polanco area, but it was his warm heart that made the evening incredibly special. It was an absolute pleasure to share the evening with him. Thank you, German!

Tania was phenomenal....
Tania was phenomenal. Great knowledge of the food culture in Mexico City, the ingredients and history of each dish. She also was very knowledgeable on the history or Mexico City districts we walked through. Easy to understand and the food choices were superb.

A brilliant solo experience – highly recommend
I booked the hot air balloon ride inc. transport to/from Mexico City and time to visit the pyramids, and it was an all-round fab experience.
As a solo traveller I felt comfortable and well looked-after the whole time.
The early 5am start is absolutely worth it on a good weather day. I went in March, which was chilly first thing, so definitely layer up, though it warms up quickly on the balloon itself with the heat from the fire. The timing meant we got to watch the balloons being inflated at sunrise, then took off just as the sun came up at its brightest and deffo its prettiest.
The ride itself lasts around 45 minutes (est. 30-50, as landing spots aren’t fixed in advance). We ended up touching down in a field with local workers running over to help, which only added to the fun – as did clipping the edge of a tree on the descent!
The port is a great pre- and post-flight base. All the staff are very helpful and everything runs smoothly, with both English and Spanish options available. Before the flight there’s coffee while you wait to be called to board, and watching the balloons inflate is a great way to pass that time. The boarding process is very straightforward, even as a solo traveller with no one to follow, I had no issues at all.
After landing, there’s a champagne toast at the site before being taken back to the port for a Mexican buffet with traditional food and a mariachi band who come round to each table – they were lovely! You get a good hour or so with no rush before buses depart for the pyramids (or back to the city if you opted out).
FYI – when you check in on arrival, there’s an option to book a walking tour of the pyramids for around £20. I’d definitely recommend it – the guides are fab, and the Teotihuacan history is vast and fascinating, so having someone to walk you through it makes a real difference.
Great value for money. I’ve already recommended it to friends.

Two great sites and a walk in the park
Great way to check off both sites. Our guide Jonathan was great- did frequent checks about taking a break/bathroom breaks. He kept a good pace and answered any questions we had. You can also go back to the musuem afterwards if you want to explore on your own.

Fantastic Tasting Tour
Erika is an incredible tour guide who made this experience better than we could have dreamed. She has wonderful recommendations for Zona Roma, was very friendly, and shared some great knowledge about the Mezcal process. The drinks and tacos we had were amazing, and there was an option to have more than the provided tacos/mezcal, but we felt that it was the perfect amount! Can’t recommend Erika or this tour enough!

Great Experience for Lucha Libre Fans
I’m a big fan of Lucha Libre, so I was really excited to see it live for the first time in the city – and I loved the experience.
The guides brought us together at a local taco spot first, where they shared some history and got us started with tacos, tequila, and mezcal, which was a great way to kick things off.
After that, we headed to the stadium. The guides don’t go in with you, which I wasn’t aware of beforehand, but it wasn’t an issue. I was able to find my seat easily and just enjoy the show.
The match itself was really fun and such a unique experience. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the city.

Enjoyable Food Tour
Carlo was a great guide. He brought us to taste many delicious treats, both savoury and sweet. He also showed us and explained a
number of historical spots. Carlo walked at a relaxed pace and made sure everyone was in a group before his explanations, and he was loud and clear. He was a perfect guide and our tour was very enjoyable.

Lovely day
A lovely day . Ive done this trip before. But this time it eas in reverse, starting in puebla . No issues with this as it was quieter making the markets more comfortable to move around . Alexa was a great guide . I learned new things through the entire trip . She really has passion .

Flavors of Mexico
Great way to experience the flavors of Mexico. After buying all fresh ingredients from a local market, we returned to a home kitchen to cook a delicious traditional Mexican meal. We made everything from scratch under the guidance of our host chef. It was a perfect date night for our anniversary.

Informative and Engaging Teotihuacan Tour
The tour is for a large group, but our guide, Alan, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Teotihuacan and its history, which made the tour much more engaging. I learned so much throughout the experience. I highly recommend the early access, as it gets very crowded later in the day.
