Great Trip, Wonderful Tour Company
They reached out days in advance, provided information about the trip, maps, etc. They reached out on What's App and were so helpful and communicative. The trip itself was awesome. If you are there to party they keep the drinks going. If, you're there with kids, like us, they brought us sodas and all the fruit we could eat. I even won the guacamole contest. Yeyo and Nat were our guides and they were so great. They were fun, offered historical info about the canals, and kept the vibe lively. They even gave us mini brownies for our birthday with a candle. So sweet. You should support this company.

Delicious churros and coffee with the whole family
This churro making class was an awesome experience for my entire family. My kids are 12 + 9yo. They were engaged throughout the class and had fun. Andrea was a great host and shared two recipes with us: churros and cafe de olla, a traditional preparation of Mexican coffee. Everything was delightful.

Great Way to Experience Local Food
I really enjoyed this food tour – it was a great way to experience a variety of local dishes. I tried around six or seven different foods, all of which were interesting and tasty.
The tour guide was lovely, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the area. It made a big difference having someone local who could explain everything so well.
It was also a nice touch that we got to take some bakery items away at the end. Overall, a great experience and something I would definitely recommend if you’re visiting.

Delish and Exciting Mexican Cooking Class
This experience was delightful! Cooking in someone’s personal kitchen felt super homey and there was a ton of food on the menu! It did take a long time to make all of the courses, even with 10 people, so don’t show up too hungry. You’ll eat around 8 or 9

In case you haven’t...
Our group of four had an amazing time with Lucia! Lucia was a clear and effective teacher for cooking delicious tacos, sopes, mole, and dessert and we returned home with new recipes and skills. We also enjoyed chatting with her about Mexican history while dining in her beautiful home. Her insights on Mexican culture, food, and history provided valuable perspective on our entire trip. She also gave us recommendations for places to visit which we enjoyed greatly. Thank you, Lucia!

Great authentic fun experience
It was a really fun experience that started with going to a market around the corner to buy all the ingredients and then the small group 8 of us worked as in teams to make all the things we ate. And then it concluded with a luncheon that was really fantastic. Great company chef Jose was excellent and would highly recommend.

Highly recommend experience
This was one of the best cooking classes I ever did. Chef Lorena was really knowledgeable, walked us through all the typical Mexican ingredients and then took us to a local market to buy try a few things. She also pointed things about the neighbourhood and interesting buildings around. We made 4 very tasty courses and everything was explained very well and turned out very tasty accompanied with Mexican beer, wine or mezcal. The group was small which made the experience even more personal. Also the space where the cooking class is taking place is very neat.

Bonus exposure to culture, architecture and art.
We were fortunate to have Edgar as our guide and extra lucky that it was just the two of us…a private tour. We loved his attention to art (focus on murals), architecture (focus on time of construction and influences), and culture (tradition and trends)…all in addition to food and drink. Really well done.

Saucy Salsas
Veronica led our group through the market and taught new tips and tricks about salsa ingredients. On the walk to her place she provided insight into local landmarks and traditions. She broke our group up into four teams which allowed us to make new friends. I shall treasure the colorful recipe cards she distributed.

A Culinary Highlight: The Perfect Family Food Adventure
This Mexican Street Tacos cooking class and market tour was an absolute gem of an experience! As a family with grown children, we were searching for an authentic culinary adventure, and this exceeded all expectations.
The day began with an eye-opening market tour where we learned about essential street taco ingredients - from selecting the perfect chiles and tomatillos to understanding different cuts of meat. Our guide's knowledge of traditional Mexican ingredients and their passionate explanations made the market visit both educational and fascinating.
The hands-on cooking portion was exceptional. We learned the art of making authentic corn tortillas by hand (much harder than it looks!), and mastered the techniques for preparing various street taco fillings. The highlights included: Making fresh salsas from scratch, Preparing marinades for different meats, Learning proper cooking techniques for al pastor, barbacoa, and other classic fillings, Understanding the importance of each garnish and accompaniment.
The instructor created such a welcoming environment that it felt like cooking with family. They shared invaluable tips and tricks that you can only learn from someone with deep knowledge of street food traditions.
The finale was enjoying our creations together - the most delicious and authentic street tacos we've ever tasted. This class gave us not just recipes, but real skills we can use to recreate these amazing tacos at home.

Above and beyond - so much fun!
If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Our chef, Jazz, was absolutely delightful. She took us through the market to select our ingredients for the salsas, pointing out things and having us taste things as we walked. Then we walked to her place just across the road. It was already set up and amazingly appointed for the class. It was fun and interactive. Above and beyond our expectations. We tasted the salsas as we prepared them and then made quesadillas at the end. We were planning on dinner after but no need! We left fat and happy! We now have four delicious salsa recipes under our belt and a memory for life.

Chiles Rellenos y Sopes!
Margarita was very communicative and made sure we knew how to get there. Margarita has a beautiful home. She sat down and talked with us before starting. She explained all the recipes at the beginning and everything was well organized. She gave us the information for each dish and everything was tasty. These are recipes we may not have tried on our own. My sister and niece have never tried a cooking class in someone’s home and agreed it was a unique experience! She had us promise to make the dishes at home and also gave us alternative ways to change the dishes up. We also received restaurant recommendations for Mexico City which we appreciated! We are ready to tackle the menu at home!
