Tour guides gave great information while traveling to and from places but left you plenty of time on your own to explore. They were attentive to our needs and anticipated what those needs would be. They extremely friendly and you could imagine sharing a meal with them in other circumstances. Would highly highly recommend them .

Our tour guide,Gabriella, was very informative and helpful with any questions we had. She even pointed out several places to look for a certain perfume I was hoping to find while in Taormina. She also gave us tips for places to eat lunch or try cannoli. She truly seemed to want to help us learn about the area and enjoy our time. Also, our driver Antonio, was very professional at getting the bus up to Castelmola and back down the winding road.

From beginning to end...

From beginning to end Joseph and Rosella were the ultimate and endearing hosts at their home to share how to prepare a delicious Italian meal. Together we made the world’s best tiramisu and tucked it away in the fridge while we learned how to make homemade pasta, constructing spinach filled ravioli and then fettuccini. Prosecco and snacks were offered. Joseph interpreted Ravella’s Italian directions and information she shared with us throughout the enjoyable experience on their back patio, so lovely. Afterwards we watched as the table was set for our family to sit and enjoy the two pasta dishes we had prepared along with wine to accompany our meal. Thank you Joseph and Rosella for allowing us into your home to experience Italian culture and cooking. It was a beautiful few hours we spent with you both and a wonderful memory we took back home with us. Highly recommend!!!

Great tour & guide

Our tour guide Michael was great. He was very informative and friendly. He explained the area and it's history well. We had free time to explore on our own. It was a good pace of sightseeing without being rushed. Michael was very courteous to us and also patient to wait for another couple that was supposed to join us, but never showed up. We highly recommend Viator, their tours are worth it and their guides are professional and great.

Greta day off the cruise ship

The perfect excursion from a cruise ship. Easy to book and easy to connect with tour guide. We had an air conditioned van and our group was small which I liked. Cristiano our tour guide was great! He delighted us with the rich history of the area and made sure we enjoyed all the key sights to see! Rally enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend if you want an efficient and enjoyable tour.

A little bit of everything and more!

If you want to see a little bit everything, this is the tour for you. It was so good! Salvatore our driver was so careful and prompt and informative as well and Olegsandra, or guide was so informative and easy going, we had so much fun with them. It was a just what we wanted to see everything and have time for Taormina as well. Would highly recommend this tour, there are several surprises in store they have planned as well, I won't spoil the fun, but it was a perfect day.

Local Guide with Love of Sicily

Unusual experience…. at first I was like “wait what” and thought maybe this was a mistake as we jumped in this locals Nissan (not Jeep, lol he said that’s just what they call all 4x4) and our first stop was for gas …. but actually this turned out to be an unforgettable day. He loves Sicily and loves the history of Mt Etna and if you want to hear the passion from a local this is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Wine tasting at a local vineyard (best wine ever) even eating his homemade bread and jam with the wine, stopping at the lava quarry and lava flows and eating atop Mt Etna were all highlights! We came in on a cruise ship and his pick up spot was just outside the port (we walked and totally easy/doable walk). Overall an experience we won’t forget.

Don’t miss Taormina and Castelmola!

We LOVED this tour!! Taormina is gorgeous and our guide Corrado was awesome! He gave us just enough info without boring us with facts and history. Plus he took us to the most amazing and oldest cannoli shop in the town! We then headed up to Castelmola which was a spectacular mountain top town and had lunch at a very interesting and very delicious restaurant! It was a fantastic day! I highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful tour with Mariarita

This was a really fun and informative tour led by Mariarita who had a great sense of humor and gave of a lot of tips on foods to try and things to look out for in each port. The communication was excellent as well. We were on a cruise ship and made it to the stops and back to the ship in plenty of time, but do be prepared for a bit of drive to get to the destinations. Thankfully, great AC on the bus, which was especially welcome on a hot summer day.

Just Book It…

Our tour through Sicily was one of the highlights of our trip! Our tour guide, Pari, and our driver, Rosario, were fantastic. Pari was incredibly knowledgeable about Sicily’s history, culture, and traditions, and shared everything in such an engaging and entertaining way. Rosario provided a safe, smooth, and comfortable ride throughout the day, allowing us to relax and enjoy every stop. Great places to visit in Messina

Our driver/guide, Andrea, picked us up at the port and drove us to Castelmola, Andrea walked us around the hilltop village and took us to a famous landmark bar and restaurant, Turissi, known for its whimsical-themed décor. We then walked around Taormina, a beautiful town including a visit to the Messina Cathedral and the World’s Largest Astronomical Clock. Before heading back to the ship he took us to a cafe for a Sicilian granita and brioche bun. A great day and tour!
