A Great Day in Corfu!

I just can’t say enough great things about this tour and our wonderful guide, Faye. We saw all of the major sites of the Old City, with each one being carefully explained regarding its history and significance. Plus we had a wonderful breakfast at a local bakery, a stop at a shop specializing in Corfiot kumquat products, a small grocery and deli to sample local meats and cheeses, a huge lunch at a very friendly taverna, and finally excellent gelato to wind up the tour. Highly recommended!!

Great tour!

We were very excited for this tour! Unfortunately, it rained most of the tour, but our driver and tour guide were both awesome! Magda was great and she taught us so much about the city. We even got the olive oil she recommended. I loved how she walked us around to each site and gave the history. Since the monastery was closed, she took us to the one downtown. We were able to walk around to look for souvenirs and snacks before heading back to port. Great tour!

Cofu the way you should see it!

The night before we arrived in Cofu I booked this private tour. The next morning Dimitri met us at our ship and off we went. It poured all morning but nonetheless we had a blast! Dimitri was knowledgeable and tailored our excursion for us. We walked the lovely grounds of Achilleion and then Dimitri took us up to the Kaisers Throne for a spectacular view of the city and countryside. We toured the city making our next stop at Mon Repos to see the renovated home of the Greek Royals summer home. We concluded our half day tour at the old fort and city. Dimitri left us with a few excellent dining options for lunch as we wanted to walk the old city area. This private tour was wonderful and Dimitri was wonderful to talk with and we learned a great deal from him on the history of the island. I am a fan!

This was one of our favorite excursions we booked on a 2+ week vacation. Our skipper, Taki was phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Corfu, was super fun to chat with and all around a great time. They take you to two spots to get out of the boat and swim and have equipment like pool noodles and snorkeling equipment you can borrow. The two swimming spots did not feel rushed at all and. 100% worth the price. It was also nice to have drinks and snacks!

We had a wonderful tour...

We had a wonderful tour with our driver Theo! We really enjoyed the views at Paleokastritsa and the monastery, a boat ride to see the caves, a wonderful coffee break with a view from the mountain, and then a wonderful visit at the Elontis Olive Oil museum and tasting. Theo was very engaging and told us many interesting things, engaging us in a conversation. We asked to be dropped in Old Corfu to explore on our own, and Theo got us right into the center, giving us tips about what to see and where things were. Highly recommend!

A great day in Corfu!

Our guide, Hercules, was very personable and well-informed. We visited a number of areas all with incredibly beautiful views. He took time for photo stops, took us to an amazing ice cream stop in Lacontes, an olive oil museum with tastings and we finished up with a stop in Corfu where we had authentic Gyros. He was professional, a great driver and a great representative of Corfu.

The self guided monastery tour was the perfect little taste of history, religion, and culture. Then we were on to Glyfada. The beach was amazing. Plenty of chairs (only one ship in port), clean and felt perfectly safe. Nice restaurant and bar with bathrooms close by. Our driver was wonderful. Fun time if you know what to expect

The tour was fun and engaging, although it is long trip from Corfu town with a lot of down time where you are left to yourself and the views. Enough time to swim and eat in Paxos and Antipaxos. Sadly no complimentary food or drinks on board, you have to pay for everything, though the prices aren't too high. The ship wasn't too crowded at the start of September, as everyone was seated. Music on the way back was funny and entertaining to listen to, but quite loud on the top floor.
