Yana and Angelo were amazing! Comfortable transport for our group of 8 and could have accommodated more passengers. We loved our tour and had plenty of time to shop and explore. I highly recommend this tour. And we look forward to visiting again.

Great places to visit in Messina

Our driver/guide, Andrea, picked us up at the port and drove us to Castelmola, Andrea walked us around the hilltop village and took us to a famous landmark bar and restaurant, Turissi, known for its whimsical-themed décor. We then walked around Taormina, a beautiful town including a visit to the Messina Cathedral and the World’s Largest Astronomical Clock. Before heading back to the ship he took us to a cafe for a Sicilian granita and brioche bun. A great day and tour!

Taormina/Castlemoa tour

It was very nice to have a private tour. They were punctual picking us up and allowed us to customize our trip based on our needs/wants. Our guide Yanna was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area we toured. Our only negative comment was that she was a bit difficult to understand at times, especially for our elderly parents. Overall, we would definitely recommend this tour.

Asia was a wonderful guide and gave us some great information about the areas. She knew everyone from the shops we stopped at on the tour and they all seemed to love her! We tried some amazing cannoli, almond wine and saw some beautiful sights. Her recommendations for lunch were great.

Where to start? Nikos and his team are fantastic!! Our ship was to port at Messina and due to multiple ships in front of us, we had to detour to Catania. Nikos’ team came to us in Catania slight upcharge but the point is they came and got us! Then with Asia and Antonio as guide and driver, we took a wonderful trip to Castelmola for some amazing views and history plus cannoli and espresso, even met brother Angelo. We had a tour with spectacular views and a memorable bar with almond wine. Then on to Tamorima for some amazing scenery and shopping and lunch. Nikos even met us back at the port to say goodbye. We had an amazing trip with Nikos and his team!!

Unfortunately it was the worst tour of all the ones I book on this trip. The car was clean and new and the driver and the guide was nice but unfortunately the guide had no experience and no knowledge. Furthermore, we asked for a French speaking guide and he could speak French. We felt bad and we even tried to adapt to him by trying to speak in English to see if he felt more comfortable but he did not speak it either. At one point he just stop talking. So it was like a ride service with no guide. Also, the tour states in the details that beverages and WIFI was included and this is not true. It also mentioned, they would they bring us around to taste granitas, cannoli's and it was not the case. However, they made sure we came back on time for our cruise. Overall I would not recommend it for the price and requested a partial refund for a group of 10 people
