Our tour guide was amazing. I highly recommend the walk/ mild hike as it has a wonderful history and incredible perspective and views. My only regret was not capturing his name. Such an insightful trip, all because of our guide. I would recommend this tour anytime. This tour is not to be missed -to appreciate the cave civilisations , life in the sassi, and cave churches, Byzantine art. BEST way to see Matera

This is by far the best way to see Matera. Our guide, even with limited English, was incredibly helpful and friendly and showed us everything we wanted to see and more. Plenty of time for photographs and getting out and seeing incredible views. This is a great thing for somebody with a mobility issues, and the central Meetup location was easily accessible by taxi.

Excellent tour! The guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and easy to understand. The 2 hours were actively paced but not rushed. Magnificence in Matera

We have enjoyed the comfortable ride in the bus and memorable stories from past and present about Matera presented by a very dedicated, cheerful and eloquent guide Anita (Matera City Tour). She also gave us the tips about local foods and drinks which all enriched our impression that she is someone that cares and loves the city and warmly welcomes Matera visitors. Tour is mixed Italian/English and Anita was kind and made time for our questions. Very good and affordable closed parking place is just opposite to the tourist office. Panoramic views from Piazza San Pietro Caveoso and visit to House-Cave were exceptional.
