I greatly enjoyed this tour - the hotel pickup was easy and VERY well communicated. I think that your level of enjoyment will highly depend on the Salt Mine Guide your group gets, but Justina was incredible. On the drive to and from the mines, Piter, did a great job sharing some more history on Krakow and answering questions.

Wow
Excellent trip to the salt mines. Right from being picked up and dropped off the driver guided us all through the process, we were met by a fantastic guide who took us into the mines, telling all us about the interesting history of the mines. All
I can say is wow wow wow, definitely don’t hesitate in booking this trip you won’t regret it.

We were contacted by our...
We were contacted by our driver Daniel the afternoon before our trip with details of pickup time and asked if we would like a packed lunch for 60zloty as there was limited time between the 2 tours. We had one which was sufficient and was as described and good quality. The transport was minivan and as the last pickup we were in the front with the driver. This was ok but not ideal as space was limited. The actual tour of Auschwitz was well done and the tour guide informative. I did feel the tour of Birkenau could have been just a little longer . The journey back to Krakow was uneventful and we were back in good time.

If you prefer to listen rather than read.
Natalia was very informative and I enjoyed the tour. The tour particularly suited my sister as she can suffer with migraines from reading museum signage. Natalia imparted the information allowing us to take the time to just look around each room while she told the stories.

Auschwitz / Birkenau Saturday tour
Obviously these historical sites are of the utmost importance to visit. A sobering and haunting experience, as it always would be. The tour was delivered by a brilliant guide, who clearly knows the history completely and with huge relevant detail. It was seamless in terms of our friendly, helpful, safe and communicative driver navigating the journeys, clear instructions throughout. Joining the group tour with requisite tickets provided on arrival to the first site. Communication between guide and driver led to it being slick and efficient. We would highly recommend, thank you.

Our pickup was changed to...
Our pickup was changed to 5.50am from the 9.30am option selected, however this is outside of the tour company's hands as the guided tour times/availability are given by Auschwitz. I had seen this on a lot of other reviews and companies, so be prepared for an early start. The car picked us up on time and the driver was friendly and organised, itinerary was clear for the day. The company messaged us 3 days before to give us notice that it would be ean early start so we weren't surprised the day before when final details are confirmed.
When at Auschwitz, it is an Auschwitz tour guide that takes you around both sites - ours was incredible. The tour company, make sure you know meeting points, break times and take you between the sites. There are about 3 15 min opportunities for toilets/snacks but queues were long, especially at Ausxhwitz. Birkenau had some snack huts with much less queueing. I would take food as opportunity is limited. The company offer a 50 zloty lunch bag which was great value for money and gave lots of snacks and drinks.
The guided tour is fast paced, lots of walking (all dictated by the museum to handle the volumes of visitors) but was incredible. Not much time to stop and reflect, but enough time to see and learn what you needed to. I'm so glad I went
Also, it is largely outside and it is very very cold first thing in the morning, so please be prepared for the weather!

You are in safe hands !!
Book with confidence, you are in great hands with these guys. Got a text the day before confirming pick up time and location. We were tempted to go with a slighly cheaper company but glad we didn't. Everything was on point can't fault them from start to finish.
Both tour guides at Auschwitz and the salt mines were brilliant and very knowledgeable.
Great communication and professional , Gregory the tour leader even set a whatts App group up for the full bus load so you knew what was happening throughout the day, nothing was too much trouble. Well worth the money.

It was a pleasant round...
It was a pleasant round trip and very punctual. It was a rushed day, although it’s nice to fit in both sites. It would’ve been nice to have a chance to reflect and take a moment to respect the area. There was one 15 min break before the second site, no chance to really eat. The driver had us stand and eat outside of the car since there was no eating in his vehicle.

Great trip
Very informative and punctual, Bohdan and the driver were funny, played music and gave good information as we were driving to and from the mines. A special surprise for a group member who had a birthday, which made us all take time and cheers eachother. The mi es are vast and truly a beautiful feat for engineering.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Well-connected by road and public transport, Krakow is a perfect launch point for discovering other towns and cities in Poland. While you could set out on your own, booking an excursion that takes you around the country will help relieve the stress of planning. Day trips from Krakow include World War II-related sites—such as a former Nazi-operated concentration camp—and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed salt mine. It’s also possible to discover outstanding mountain scenery with a visit to the resort town of Zakopane in the Polish countryside, followed by a soak in the healing waters of a thermal bath complex.
