Francesco was...
Francesco was knowledgeable, personable and tailored the content and pace to my son and me. I don’t know anyone who has visited this city, and I highly recommend this for something off the beaten path to make your Italian adventure unique.

Highly Recommend
Paolo was a delight! Very knowledgable, and made many suggested sights/activities that really enhanced the day. His restaurant suggestion for lunch in Orvieto was great, and got me the VIP treatment. I would highly recommend this excursion.

A floating city and glowing cathedral
This tour takes you to two places that will stay in your imagination for a long time: Civita de Bagnoregio and Orvieto. The drive alone through the Umbrian countryside will be inspiring. Civita, the floating city, will take your breath away at first sight, as will the massive glowing Duomo of Orvietto. My guide/driver, Paolo, was wonderful. I cannot imagine a better gentleman to have for the excursion.

Absolutely fantastic tour and guide Mirko
This was a fantastic tour - turned out to be almost a private tour as one couple did not show up and the other couple did a slightly different tour. We toured the Duomo in Orvieto / they toured the crypts (I think). Because we finished before they did out guide - Mirko - took us to a lovely little wine store where we had a fantastic cheese platter and two glasses of wine at Bottega Vera (provided for us). The lost city was spectacular - again we finished before the other couple so we enjoyed another glass of wine (on us). I would highly recommend this excursion and for sure ask for Mirko.

Loved our tour guide Alberino!
It was a great mix of tours - the underground caves, Duomo, fantastic lunch (with more underground caves) and highlight was the trip to Cavita le Bagnoregio.

A wonderful day trip from Rome!
Roberto was very kind and courteous with us. He excited is to get our tickets for the trek from Bagnoreggio to Civita, a charming medieval town. Then was kind enough to take our picture. We then visited the Duomo in Orvieto, a beautiful old cathedral and had plenty of time to eat and shop.

Perfect day, even in the rain!
This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Massimiliano (Max), was a walking, talking history wonder. The cities, the lunch, and the overall tour exceeded our expectations. Don't miss this one!

Magical day
Our entire day with Emanuella was absolute perfection. She delighted our group with her kindness and vast knowledge of local history. We couldn’t have asked for a more delicious lunch at her favorite restaurant and the cave tours were a wonderful bonus. The walk to Civita di Bagnoregio was like stepping into a fairy tale. This was one of my very favorite days I highly recommend you book this Orvieto tour.

- There is a small fee for tourists to enter the town.
- The town is only accessible by a steep, narrow pedestrian bridge; visitors with mobility or breathing issues may have difficulty with the walk up.
- Due to the steep walkway and cobblestone streets, the bridge and town are not wheelchair accessible.
- A handful of cafés serve coffee, pastries, and light lunch fare; dinner options are minimal.
