We begin the day with a visit to Dynjandi, the region’s most iconic waterfall. A short and scenic walk leads past a series of smaller falls to the main cascade, where the sheer scale and power of the waterfall really stand out. From there we continue to Þingeyri for a two hour ATV ride. The route takes us off road through varied terrain, including a river crossing and a forest section, before climbing up to the top of Sandafell. From the summit, we enjoy wide open views over Dýrafjörður before descending back toward the village.
