The day had a lot of variety. The drive was only 2 hours to Ninh Binh. The biking was very easy and good for people of all abilities. The boat ride through the caves was stunning and despite the downpour the climb up the 500 steps was still doable and worth the view. Our guide Ryan was great!

Weather wasn’t great. But the tour itself was. Nature in Han La bay is beautiful. You might even see some monkeys. I did the trip from and to Hanoi, which can be very tiring. But it was the only 1 day tour I found from Hanoi. If you can go to Cat Ba island first (or stay there after), makes it easier. Tour was incredibly well organized, people come from Hanoi, from Cat Ba and leave in Cat Ba or Hanoi (or airport) and it’s all organized perfectly. The guide speaks very good English and is funny. Special note for the food. They give you a great meal with lots of different seafood! All fresh and good.

Very good service. Room are clean and nice. Well organize for transfer between transportation. Perhaps one should be careful about the food at rest stop (quality is quite bad). Also the transfer bus are not all the same, most are super nice like business class but the one between ha long bay and Hà Nội is much smaller and quite old, rough ride for 3 hours. Hope to see the better one next time

The organization was superb. The driver picked us up from our hotel and took us to the train station. The train left from a different station than usual and the travel agent texted and called to make sure the driver took us to the right place. When we arrived, a driver had all the names on a placard and took us to a cafe to have breakfast and meet our guide. Every step of the way someone with a name list made sure we got to the right spot. We were lucky that our train was late (the station change) and we got a private tour with May, the rest of the group left before us. She is a local and told us about the tribes daily lives and explain what we saw on the trek. She also helped me through the slippery bamboo forest trail. The guest house was quaint and the food through the trip was fine, simple but fresh and tasty. The only caveat, bring ear plugs for the train, it's very noisy. The sleeper bus on the way back was quite an experience but at least I slept, much quieter than the train.

The cruise was wonderful. The boat and crew ensured our every need was met. They fed us so well, we couldn't finish our plates most of the time...We really appreciated how they inquired and considered our dietary needs(wife and daughter are celiac). They kept us busy with activities like visiting Titop Island(too many tourists), a hike to a cave(also super busy), and an evening spring roll making which was great. The next day we went kayaking and checked out a pearl farm, which was pretty interesting. Overall, it was an active 2 day trip with plenty of time for relaxing. Thank you Cozy Tours!

Ideal trip for someone low on time but yet wanting to catch the best of halong bay. Every moment is fun filled and full of picturesque views. For the kayaking/ Bamboo boat part, I would recommend kayaking if no kids else the bamboo boat is after. Gets crowded. I would recommend carrying about 500000 VND in cash. A cpl 100k more if you want to tip well. Our guide Binh did an excellent job of managing the tour and explaining what was about to come. His fluency in English helped immensely.

Fabulous day. The catamaran was very comfortable with loads of space. The sofa and chairs were great for relaxing. There is a bar and a jacuzzi. Waterslides too, for those who like them. Most of all the guide Xin chào was excellent. He kept us well informed, ran the whole day very professionally. The food on board is also excellent. The coach transfer is comfortable.
