Don't Miss! This was a wonderful tour! Harley and Anna were the most amazing tour guides we have had in all of Vietnam. The knowledge of history and traditions were boundless. We had so much fun on this tour! Our guides were upbeat and were able to share great facts and stories about each stop. We felt like we were spending the day with some friends! I had such a fun time with my guide, Moon. She was friendly from the beginning; it honestly felt like meeting up with an old friend. We went to Hoa Lo Prison which could’ve been depressing, but she made it so interesting with all the extra information that she gave. She knew a lot and spoke really well for being as young as she is. After, we went to Train Street and she graciously took some pictures for me. Conversation and the time really flew by. I wish we could’ve had more time. No matter what, I’m sure she’ll go far and will thrive in university in whichever field she chooses to pursue.

This was an EXCELLENT tour. We shared what sorts of things we were interested in - history, landmarks, food, and culture - and our guides delivered. Mai and Quynh were so sweet and friendly and took us all around the old quarter and showed us a tasty restaurant at the end. We visited the Sword Lake and Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, Train Street, and a great restaurant (Phu Cuong Pork Rolls).
Since this is a nonprofit venture connecting students to visitors in Hanoi for tours, the students are volunteering their time. We were happy to treat our guides to coffee when we visited Train Street, to lunch at the restaurant stop, and to a nice tip - I highly recommend others do the same when doing this tour. The guides really do this out of their own kindness and enthusiasm to show the city to visitors.

This is a great way to see Hanoi! My student guide, Louisa, met me at my hotel and we took off walking. Louisa gave great history lessons but also chatted about her life and what was going on around us. I traveled solo so it was nice to have somebody to ask questions to and chat with. Best part, is that she walked me back to my hotel. I hate going on tours when I just arrived in a city and have to find my way back. I wish I could find this opportunity in other cities. Louisa did a great job!

Had contact the night before and ready and waiting at 10am at meeting place. No one showed and after I made contact at 110:15 I get the following. We are deeply sorry but we had tried our best to arrange a guide in the morning. However most of them is busy with their school. Therefore we have not find anyone can do the tour in the moring for you. Once again we are sincerely sorry for this late information.

Mia & Stepanie were great guides with excellent English skills. Despite the rainy chilly weather they took us everywhere we wanted and had good suggestions about where to visit.
