Highly recommend this day tour if you are short on time in Hanoi! Q, our wonderful knowledgeable and very funny guide made the day extra special. The whole experience was really excellent. The coach on the 2hr trip down to Ninh Binn was comfy with a little stop for breakfast. The 500 step climb at Dragon Mountain is breathtaking-literally especially if like my crazy husband you run up in 10mins!! The boat ride through the caves was the highlight for us, being steered by our driver with her feet! Lunch was bountiful with local food. A little jump in a jeep or for 2 of our party of 6 a moped ride through the beautiful scenery. Q, taught us about the history of the country, the language and full knowledge of the temples we visited. He really did make our day and especially when he made us laugh when he spoke in his English Harry Potter accent! Our team was made up of us from uk, a couple from Canada and A mother and daughter from the Philippines. A great mix. Thank you Q for such an enjoyable trip. Xx

We loved our trip to Ninh Binh. Starting early is highly recommended as we got ahead of the main tourist crowds. The 500 step climb at the mountain is challenging in the heat but worth it for the views. The tour was well planned and we loved our guide who was Tuna. He was great with everyone and really helped us all every step of the way. A small group tour is really worthwhile I think for somewhere like Ninh Binh. The jeeps are very cool as well and we loved the whole day. I highly recommend this tour.
Hiu was a fantastic guide for our Ninh Binh day tour. Punctual, friendly, and full of knowledge about the area — he made the history come alive and knew all the right timings to beat the crowds. Great English, great photos, and he took us to a wonderful local spot for lunch. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommend!

unforgettable expirience from the beggining until to our final activity travellers must visit ninh binh and try the 500 step
Our guide was called Hui and he made our day incredible. We climbed a mountain then we went on the river boats and then we went on a Vespa. The whole time he was telling us stories, keeping us entertained telling us about life in Vietnam. The driver was really excellent as well. It was a small group of seven people. It was a brilliant day, lunch was superb and I would really recommend spending the money on the small group tour with Skip the Line.
I recommend this tour for the professionalism and well planned in all aspects.
The guide tour Danny was amazing, he took us in a beautiful journey from Hanoi to Ninh Vinh. He was very knowledgeable about the areas visited and history. The places over there are breathtaking specially when you climb the mountain to see the valley and the river from the top !! Wuaoo. Then the boat on the river is also a nice journey.
I really recommend this tour to everyone who wants have a beautiful day out in Vietnam.

Nice, compact day. Enjoyed the stops we had and couldn't have asked for better guides, Louis & Oggy were great.
We had such an absolute blast on this tour with our guide Louis and the trainee Oggy! I was the one riding on the scooter, and honestly, Oggy was the absolute best person I could have ever asked for. He kept the energy so high, cracked jokes the entire time, and by the end of the trip, he seriously felt like a younger brother to me.On top of the great company, the food they took us to get was excellent—so delicious and authentic. The actual drive was super comfy, smooth, and well-paced. The weather was honestly pretty annoying and less than ideal, but the guys made the experience so fun that we barely even cared about the rain. If you get a chance to book this, definitely ask for Louis and Oggy!

Our guide Louis was amazing! So knowledgeable and fun. The day was organized, exciting and exceeded all expectations.
This was an amazing experience! Bit of a struggle because it was SO hot while we were there (I think 112 degrees Fahrenheit real-feel), but it was absolutely beautiful. Louis our guide was hilarious, real, and knowledgeable. We stopped at the old capital, checked out the temple and learned some history. Then it was on to hike to the top for some absolutely unreal views. (Not for the faint of heart-i thought i might keel over from heat stroke, but bless his heart Louis stuck by us to get some pics and make sure i didn't fall off the side of the mountain). After that, we went on a boat ride for about an hour or so, and oh my goodness the scenery was SO COOL. Stopped for lunch after the boat ride (goat is surprisingly tasty lol) and then onward to the motorbike tour! Learned a ton there and saw things we'd never get the chance to if we'd been riding bikes in that heat. The whole thing was a good pace (maybe a bit more time for the hike since I was dying a slow death on the way up that mountain) but overall a really good pace. 10 out of 10 recommend.
Definitely one of the highlights of our whole trip. Getting there takes a bit but it is so worth the trip. Every part of the tour had breathtaking scenery and our guide Louis was super informative and made sure everyone had a great time.

Excellent trip. Easy booking, and great communication from the team before the trip. Our guide Danny messaged us the night before to confirm pick up time and answered any questions I had, he was very knowledgeable about the places we were visiting and he spoke excellent English. Throughout the trip he kept checking with us to ensure we were happy.
We decided to choose the vespa option, having a 10 year old who had never been on a vespa before I was slightly nervous given the busy roads we had been used to in other parts of Vietnam, I had no need to worry, the vespa drivers were extremely safe, ensuring our family stayed together on the 3 seperate bikes so I could still see my daughter at all times, they drove smoothly allowing us to take in the beautiful scenery without any worry. We all loved the trip and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about doing it.

This was an amazing trip, we’ve seen a lot and our guide Q was very informative & funny. We’ve learnt a lot about the history of Vietnam and life in a country. And the scenery was beautiful

You will not be disappointed as you will see a fabulous temple, drive scooters, take a boat tour, complete an amazing hike up to a unreal view. The lunch is fantastic and the van they pick you up in is luxury!! This is the best tour we did in Vietnam. Louis was the best guide you could imagine for this activity!!

Awesome whole day tour. Hui was a great tour guide. We had an 8 and 8 year old with us and they took extra care of them and looked after them on the scooters.
The trip was very well organized and planned. Well paced. Tim expertly guided us through activities, sharing interesting stories, history and culture of the region. The lunch was plentiful and delicious. We were well take.n care of. This trip offers good value for your money given all the activities included.
The tour to Ninh Binh was very fun. We started with visiting the imperial city, then hiking to dragon mountain, biking, and the famous Ninh Binh boat ride. Our tour guide Baki made the trip very enjoyable. Easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and high energy, making the tour very unique.
