Guy was very informative as a guide. The day was packed with a hike snd a boat tour. Best part was the bike ride after lunch. Good size group and great way to meet other travelers.

Fantastic trip, our guide (Jason) was very organised and knowledgeable. Pick up was flexible and the journey was stress-free. A really good way of seeing the sights and having a little adventure without worrying about getting around. Had enough time to enjoy, would recommend staying overnight if possible - we let Jason know in advance and it was no problem.

The day had a lot of variety. The drive was only 2 hours to Ninh Binh. The biking was very easy and good for people of all abilities. The boat ride through the caves was stunning and despite the downpour the climb up the 500 steps was still doable and worth the view. Our guide Ryan was great!

Mia was the best tour guide! Highly recommend this tour. The region is so beautiful and Mia did a wonderful job teaching us about the history and culture of the region. Also props to the driver, it was some of the most skillful driving I’ve ever seen. If you’re looking to spend the day doing fun activities in a beautiful spot, then do this tour!!!

More than we expected. Communication before the trip was good (pickup times etc.) , Ryan the guide was amazing,first off riding by motorbike in front of the bus to guide you to the bus, then being friendly and very knowledgeable throughout the tour. The buffet lunch was excellent.

This trip may have been the highlight of my trip to Vietnam and a big part of that was our excellent guide- Ryan. His attention to safety, time management, and personal narration were amazing. We stopped at sights between large groups so we didn’t feel crowded or rushed. Lunch was great, restroom stops were clean. Our bus was in perfect condition and our driver was efficient and safe. What a great day- beautiful sights, lovely boat ride, biking, hiking, history… you absolutely get your moneys worth with this tour. I would give this my highest rating. Very happy I chose this tour!

We had the most incredible day touring Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu, Trang An/Tam Coc & Mua Cave) and it was entirely because of our tour guide, Brian Tuyen. He is truly a wonderful human — funny, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so much history and cultural insight in a way that felt natural, engaging, and never overwhelming.
The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. The bus was very comfortable, the pacing of the day was perfect, and the lunch was delicious — we felt taken care of the whole time. Every stop felt thoughtfully planned and never rushed, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking.
This was one of the highlights of our Vietnam trip. If you’re considering a Ninh Binh day tour, book this one and hope you get Brian Tuyen — you won’t forget the experience!

After carefully comparing group and private tours, I’m glad we chose the group option. All the tours cover the same activities and take about the same amount of time either way. For example, the boat ride in Trang An lasts about two hours, and the time allocated to climb Mua is just right. Our guide, Hero, was fantastic—funny, easy to understand, and kept everything running smoothly.

Beautiful and breathtaking Ninh Bình truly took us to a different world. Our sweet and kind host Mia is funny and attentive. The schedule feels a little rush but understandable …lunch could have been better but till one of the best for the price.

This is a great tour to do whilst in Hanoi. Giang, our guide, was knowledgable and made the whole day a lot of fun. The boat tour is incredible, heading through cave tunnels and the hike up Mia Caves deliver the best view from the top. The buffet lunch is really good to.

I really enjoyed my trip out to Ninh Binh! It was very relaxing, with really comfortable weather too. The tour guide, Quy, was super friendly, very knowledgeable about the locations' history, and also offered to help take photos! I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and would definitely recommend it:)

Ryan was an exceptional host, he made the day very enjoyable. I would recommend to my friends.
Although it was basically perfect, I would suggest the tour recommends when to get drinks as the boat ride was a long time to go in the sun without water.

The trip was good the downside was it’s a long day trip. The hike up to the laying dragon was definitely worth it with spectacular view once you reach the viewpoint. You can see the river/ mountain/ green fields. The boat ride through the caves/ river and around the little islands was just too long seeing same landscape all over again. Overall the trip is still a good one.

The daytrip to Ninh Bin was fabulous, and our guide Quy was awesome, so friendly and kind and genuinely cared about our group, ensuring that everyone was comfortable and having a great time. He even stayed behind with us when we were hiking slow!! He also shared interesting info on the history of Vietnam, its language and traditions. The tour itself offered a variety of sightseeing and activities, from biking to hiking to the top of Mua mountain with its stunning views, to boating through caves at Trang An to get to the spectacular pagoda on the water. There was beauty everywhere. Not to be missed!!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Did NOT choose boat tour. Was forced to do Tam Coc…and did not even go to the Trang An Grottoes. Disappointed with the trip. I booked specifically because I wanted to see the grottoes and we did not go.
