the trip was so much fun! we were with a small group of people from different hotels around tamarindo. alejandro and orlando were amazing guides. we felt very safe and learned a lot about the area as well as wildlife. we saw sloths, frogs, snakes, and other things! the waterfall was surprisingly our favorite part. the water was cool and refreshing. you have to go down some stairs to get there, but they are an easy climb. you will have to climb them back up to get back to the bus. the chocolate and coffee part was actually so much fun. our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. the coffee was delicious and came with small snacks. the lunch was nice! we suggest the pulled beef in sauce. it was like brisket! overall, this was a great tour. we could not suggest alejandro and orlando enough!

Memorable experience

My family and i had so much fun. The drive from our hotel to the adventure spot was kind of far but well worth it. Booked it through "the best day ever", and Javier was great! He was the only who I noticed out of all the tourguides, to be involved and very personal to the guests, and he was very attentive. Highly recommend.

Everyone was so helpful, sweet , and accommodating. They operated in a timely manner as well ! Food was decent as . The only take away was that there was no uber service available to the area due to lack of service and rural location of the park .You really need to plan your round trip beforehand or drive there on your own . I was stranded for an additional hour before finding an available taxi!

I highly recommend this tour. My son is 8 and I’m 42. We had an excellent experience and highly recommend it. I would absolutely do it again without question. It was such a vibe. The crew is so friendly and fun. They are so welcoming and accommodating. The food was outstanding, so much better than resort food. There were people of all ages. Even babies onboard. Come as you are, bring a towel if you wish. We went in April and it was warm and sunny. We only got to see fish. But it was still worth the boat ride.

Perfect value for money ATV drive !

The whole trip was well organized right from our pick up to our drop off.For our family we got a ATV and a UTV.My teenage son 17 was able to comfortably manuver the UTV .The drive was adventurous through country roads and a stop at the beach. You are for sure going to get covered in dirt. Our guide hellmar focussed on safety and kept checking on the group at all times.He gave a brief intro about the topography and animals that we spotted enroute. At the end of the trip we were served with cut pineapple which was quite refreshing after the long drive. There was a tad bit of delay with our return and the owner Vanessa personally dropped us back at the hotel.

Fun activity packed day!

This was a very cool experience with a lot to see and do! Our guide made sure we saw a tapir and a capibera(?)! The volcanic steam vents and bubbling mud pits were amazing. The waterfall was very cold, but it felt amazing!! The hot springs and mud bath, with a river rinse off, were also a lot of fun. It was a day packed with activities! Here are some things you need to know though... You will be walking 2 miles, partly in the hot sun, up and down steps, and I mean A LOT OF STEPS. People suggested water shoes, so that's what we wore for the waterfall and hot springs. Unfortunately, ours were very thin bottomed water shoes and we had to walk pretty far across rocks. Thick bottomed sandals or water shoes would have been much better.

Ivan is an awesome guide

It was such a great experience! We seen crocodiles, lots of different birds & howler monkeys! Ivan was such an entertaining tour guide and gave lots of information for all of the animals living in the area! Very funny & courteous with everyone (and the other tour guides as we met up) Very friendly atmosphere! We would do this tour again one day and would recommend it to everyone!

Don’t miss it!

Excellent all around! The service was incredible. The crew catered to everyone on the boat- constantly being drinks to people, taking plates, handing out treats and even giving the kiddos fake tattoos. The only bummer was the snorkeling- it was too murky to see anything. But that wasn’t the crews fault. I would highly recommend this putting!

Exceptional trip

Fantastic tour! I thought it was just a party boat with sunset view. In fact, it was wayyyyy more than that. The sail started with an easy vibe, and got us to the other quieter shore. From there, the boat anchored somewhere distanced from the beach, and they provided various kinds of equipment for us to swim, snorkel, or SUP. My partner and I were not really good swimmers, but we felt very safe swimming there with floating bars. The lunch (or more like afternoon tea regarding time) was Costa Rican style food, which included one of the best chicken I’ve ever had. The sunset was spectacular, and plus you got to enjoyed it with amazing people and vibes. We were super lucky to see some dolphins and a whale. It’s almost impossible to imagine an experience like this at this price. Anyway, five stars and highly recommended.

Incredible sunset from the water

Wonderful catamaran cruise and great snorkeling! The boat was big and even though there were a number of people on the cruise, it didn't feel crowded. The snorkeling was fantastic and we got to see a lot fish! The sunset was absolutely stunning! Definitely worth the money and a great experience.

Marlin del Rey is a must do!!!!

The crew is excellent! They took very good care of us the food was good and there was plenty for everyone. Great Pina colada. On the ride we saw Sea turtles, dolphins and whales. A baby whale gave us a show splashing and jumping out of the water! They provided snorkeling equipment but you can't see anything because the water churned too much but I suspect that it's always like that. We had so much fun.
